Always the same restart.

  the printer works fine... just this irritating program.  any thoughts?

  Something was damaged during the restart. You need to just uninstall and reinstall the software and the drivers again.

  I found something that seems to work.  At the end of this process, you will be asked to restart your computer, so probably best to do when you are not in delays and/or with several programs.

  You need the HP Jet Pro 8600 for this Officce installation disc.   Insert the disk into your CD/DVD/BlueRay player and be sure that it is active.

  Then go to control panel > programs and features.  Search for "Software device HP Officejet Pro 8600Basic".   Do a RIGHT CLICK on the program.  Appears in a context menu for the uninstall, change or repair.  Left click on "fix."  The program took about 5 seconds on my K-3770.

  After the repair the program runs it asks to restart the computer for the changes to take effect, now or later.

  I tried the repair by printing multiple Word 2010 files which had been printing an extra 10 seconds after page started printing.  I have tested as print current Page, print selection, print, print all extended Custom Pages.  It seems to have solved the problem.

  I hope this helps everyone.

  HP-why this feature isn't VERY accessible?  I fell on it, when I was trying everything and anything to correct this proglem.   I'm sure it's buried somewhere in the documentation, but I ran into it.

  You can pass the value of hp scan: launch of the demand application, select the shortcut to scan (PDF or JPG to the left) and change the resolution you want and save.

  This will send down the printer settings. So the next time you scan, the printer uses these settings.

  I remember coming across this question:

  1. turn off the printer and remove the lower whole and not just the tray 2.

  2. turn on, turn off,

  3 replace the tray 2 and the power up.

  To enable tray 2 as default copy ferry. Go to the printer->-> select copy LCD display-> select settings-> a selected tray 2 as default.

  I am looking to buy a new printer... I've always had some HP printers.  I seem to think that the best for me is the 8600 series.  I see there is the 8600, 8600 Premium Plus and 8600.  IM taking into account more than 8600.  I found 2 different model numbers and I was wondering what the difference is.  One is CN579A #1 H 3 and the other B1H of # CM750A.  Can you tell me what is the difference?

  Both are the same. The official number is: CM750A #B1H for JO 8600. Some providers may have change the number.

  My new printer, I bought a few days there and it is HP Officejet Pro 8600 with lion mountain in my Mac.

  I am trying to print some pictures for sizes 5 x 7 with fullbleed / without borders and several times more and still not complete without borders at all!  Still have white frames!  I do not understand why he refused to print when you ask!  For sizes 8 x 11 is working again!  Works even with 4 x 6 no more!  Yet when I see the list of sizes say borderless and my printer just flat refused to do!  Is this printer with 5 x 7 and 4 x 6 support full page?   I'm confused!  My other 3 years HP printers has everything but it is called not officejet, Photosmart —

  I would like to allow you to print your photos without the border. Please try using the method suggested in the following document. Impression of a border. This document is not limited to Mac 10.5. Please let me know if it works.

  The HP Officejet Pro 8600 provided with different software and not with the HP Solution Center.

  The printer cannot be used with the Solution Center but only with applications Wizard HP printer and scanner HP that came with your device.

• My new printer does not appear in the list of printers

  I bought a new HP Officejet Pro 8715 and I had great difficulty it is set up to use. It seems the method to print and scan drivers has changed dramatically since my last new printer. HP supplies over a CD with the software, but rather is supposed to happen automatically via the Apple software when I plug in the printer. This was not the case.

  At this point, I have the printer (4 hours) work, but I can't get the software "Readiris' of scanning to work. Yet once again, I am told that if I just plug the printer via the USB port and turn it on, then the OS knows what software to load. In reality, he doesn't "know" or "do" something.

  I tried to configure manually by going to System Preferences > Print & Scan and then by clicking on the sign more to add the printer software. This will show you a huge list of printers, but the list ends with "Officejet Pro 8660." My printer is a 8715, so there is nothing for my printer. Installation of the software for 8660 did not help to solve the problem.

  Two questions:

  1. why list of Apple printers does not have my printer?

  2. How can I get the Apple software to see the drivers for my printer?

  You should be able to print documents from Web pages using Firefox. The "print" button should display by default. However, it is possible, it has been removed during an upgrade or because of personal preferences. The way to fix:

  1. Firefox > view > toolbars > customize
  2. Select the printer icon and drag it to your browser window

  I also found a Support article on the restoration of the toolbars, as you say it lacked the toolbar:

  The back, home, bookmarks navigation buttons and recharge are missing

  Exchanged a defective HP Officejet Pro 6835 at Costco. I kept the old cartridges and Costco pulled the new printer cartridges and kept them.   You will need to install cartridges for initial configuration, Costco shouldn't have removed the cartridges setup.  You can contact HP, they could send replacement cartridges setup or they may suggest that you only contact Costco.
