New site deleted Restore tab

Someone clicks on the 'X' on the set of my first sites on the new tab page, and I want them back.

Hello, enter Subject: config in the bar firefox address (confirm the message information where it appears) & get preference named browser.newtabpage.blocked - right click and restore the default value for that entry.

If I accidentally delete a tab, how can I restore it?

I'm not sure what you mean by delete, but I'll mention a few things to get started:

    (1) If you accidentally closed a tab, but there is another tab open in the same window:

    • Make a right click No matter what tab > undo close tab

      • CTRL + SHIFT + t did the same thing
    • Use the menu list in the history of recently closed tabs to re - open the tab

    (2) If you accidentally close a tab, and that the entire window:

    • If you had another open window (Firefox did not close): allows you to re - open the window menu in the history of windows list recently closed
    • If Firefox shuts down: after starting Firefox, check the list of the menu in the history of recently closed windows. If none is listed, try to 'Restore previous Session' on the history menu and then check again.

Sorry, the setting for this preference has been removed a few years ago.

You can try using TabMix Plus extension to add this feature to Firefox. I heard that TMP include a pref for this action.

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/Firefox/1122/

But TMP is a very complex extension and has been problematic from time to time. My advice is to get used to manual bookmarks open in a tab by using one of the three ways that I mentioned.

  • How can I do the following to happen: Browse multiple sites at once, simply and easily. Each new site appears as a new tab.

A tab open, when I click on a bookmark, the browser IS NOT open it in a new tab. It open in the same tab, replacing the old site.

       In FEATURES it says:

«Browse multiple sites at once, simply and easily.» Each new site appears as a new tab.

       I wish it would.

Install one or both of these modules.

In addition, see How to set the home page which explains how to open several sites such as your homepage.

  • Delete the old site, keep the same url of the new site.

I am new to Adobe Muse, and when I'm confused, I'm HEAVILY confused.

Been looking for this topic but could not find a clear answer.

I gave my business site a complete overhaul, so I have two projects on Muse. However, I would like to delete the old site and download the new site. Is there a way to keep the same URL?

    Thank you!

Use the credentials of your first site when downloading a new. When you upload your site, click "Switch account" top-right in the window "Upload to FTP Host.

  • I got the new version 8.0 of firefox today and now when I put a new URL in a tab open or type a URL in a new tab, nothing DON'T get PAST! Help!

Since I installed version 8.0 of Firefox earlier today, I was unable to get new Web pages by typing in their URLs. If I click on a link in a tab that was opened before the installation (and was called by restoring the Session after I installed the new version) - say in one of my messages in the Hotmail or one with another showing - Web page tab all right and I go to the new page. Even if I click the back arrow: I can go back and forwards to pages that have already been opened in the previous session.

However, if I type a URL to a new site in the address bar, OR open a new tab and enter a URL here... When I press the Enter key sometimes NOTHING AT ALL. Same thing if I click on the thumb to the new address arrow that appears to the right of the location bar - nothing. This has happened over and over again.

What is going on? If I use IE, everything works very well, there must be something in Firefox. I need to just go back to the previous version of Firefox I had before this last update? As it is now, I can't go to all the pages that I haven't looked in my session restored, which is not only frustrating but makes Firefox pretty useless for future use. Alternatively, if it is another problem, any ideas on what and how to fix it? Thank you.

Time for a bit of troubleshooting.

Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.

A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

If it's good in Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

  • Back to Firefox button doesn't work does not correctly when you navigate to the new Site

When I open a page to a new site that I can navigate forward and backward on this site very much, but whenever I try to leave this site via the back button it shows as if there are no pages beyond this site, like the opening of fresh on this site page. This is driving me crazy so if someone could help this type of person not techno I would be eternally grateful.

Yes, how the code page tab, you cannot return to the new tab Firefox's built-in page or a page that you want to substitute for it.

Since this is your home page, you can use the usual methods to return to your home page:

    • Click on the home button in the toolbar
    • Press Alt + home keyboard

Or you could try a different extension for the new tab page see if that solves it. For example:

    https://addons.Mozilla.org/firefox/addon/custom-new-tab/

After installing, you must use the Options page to set the new desired tab page (instead of use subject: config).

Open the page modules using either:

    • CTRL + SHIFT + a (Mac: Cmd + shift + a)
    • "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons

In the left column, click Extensions. Then on the right side, find Custom new tab and click on the Options button.

It is easy to enter your favourite homepage address. If you check either of the boxes, the expansion will set the focus in the page as well, for example, the cursor will be in the Google search box. (See attached screenshot).

I had to leave Firefox and start it up again before new custom tab started working, but this may have been due to tests so many extensions back to back.

    Any improvement?

  • Why Tweets incorporated on news sites appear only in the empty boxes?

Tweets incorporated on news sites appear only as empty boxes in Firefox, but not in Edge: it of a fairly new problem and can have coincided with the upgrade to Windows 10.

Please try Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that temporarily disables hardware acceleration, restores some settings and disables add-ons (extensions and themes).

If Firefox is open, you can restart Firefox Safe mode in the Help menu:

    • Click the menu button

      click Help

then select restart with disabled modules.

If Firefox does not work, you can start Firefox in Mode safe as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

When the Firefox Safe Mode window appears, select "start mode safe."

If the problem is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, theme or hardware acceleration. Please follow the steps described in the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. This might help others with the same problem.

  • Stop asking save passwords for NEW sites, still keep filling passwords for sites ALREADY SAVED

So here's my problem. I have a handful of site where I leave FF save/fill in my password and user name information. For these sites, I WANT FF for save and continue to fill my login information. However, I do not want FF to save my credentials for ANY OTHER SITE.

Now while I have my login information stored in FF for these websites, if I disable "Remember passwords for sites" in Security Options, FF continues to fill my login information for these sites (despite the fact that it has always recorded info). Once I re - check this option, FF starts to fill in my password again.

AFAIK, disabling of "do not forget passwords for sites" is the only way to get FF to stop asking me if I want to have save my password, but if I do that it will also stop filling the passwords that I've saved.

So, is there a way either:
    (A) have "Passwords sites Remember" disabled, but that FF inserts passwords I already saved it, or
    (B) have 'passwords to Remember sites"enabled, but STOP asking me to save passwords for all new Web sites?

I want to ONLY FF to register AND fill the passwords that I've saved. I don't want to be prompted to save passwords for all new sites either.

Is this possible? Maybe an add-on or about: config setting I could change?

    Thanks in advance!

  • Firefox keeps displaying old site, ff mobile detects the new site. How can I make Office go to the new site?

I moved my site from the old host of godaddy. updated the dns at register.com. On my phone android with firefox, I can see the new site, after I dropped the wifi and went to the data. On my desk and my husband two computers, we can only see the old site, even after clearing cache. How can I make Firefox displays the new site?

You can reload webpages and ignore the cache to refresh potentially stale or corrupt.

    • Hold down the SHIFT key and click the Reload button
    • Press 'Ctrl + F5' or 'Ctrl + Shift + R' (Windows, Linux)
    • Press 'Command + shift + R' (Mac)

You can delete all data stored in Firefox with a specific area through "Forget this Site" in the context menu of a history entry ("" history > view history "or" view > sidebar > History "") or via the subject: permissions page.

Using "Forget this Site" will delete all data stored in Firefox in this area as bookmarks, cookies, words of past, cache, history, and exceptions, so be careful and if you have a password or other data from that domain you don't want to lose then check that back up these data or make a comment.

You can't recover from this "forget" unless you have a backup of the files involved.

It has no lasting effect, so if come back you on such a 'forgotten' site, then the data of this Web site will be saved once more.

    Hello dragoness13,

Here's an update on this issue.

Reason: Following an internal problem, association of account user of Muse and the corresponding user BC account breaks after Muse put 2015.2 to date. It is originally Muse to do not be able to enumerate the users existing sites BC to publish to the dialog Business Catalyst. The issue is addressed in Muse engineering team. Meanwhile, use the workflow as shown below.

    Solution/solution:

    1. Create a new site from Muse
    2. Publish it as a new trial to Business Catalyst site
    3. Close and reopen the Muse
    4. Open the affected site of Muse
    5. Publish on Business Catalyst now

Try this and let me know if it works for you.

    Thank you

  • Downloaded my new site of Muse to an existing domain, replacement of the old site, now I get a 404 not found error page when you click on the link via google

    Hello

I recently had a website for my business and I decided that its becoming outdated seriously.

I created a new Web site using adobe muse with the original plan to delete the old site and replace it with the new site muse, but on the same domain name.

Yesterday, I saved all the files of my site obsolete and deleted from the server and downloaded my new site Web de Adobe Muse to my FTP host with the original domain name.

Now, when I search the keywords I'm looking generally when I had the old site, the link comes up, but when I click on a 404 not found error page appears.

At the moment, I do believe that my works from home page by clicking on it, all other pages seem to show a 404 error.

I'm not very experienced with web site design, please help me as soon as possible. My business is internet-based, every day without my site, my business is suffering.

Looking forward to a response. Thank you.

    URL of the site please?

In addition, how the site works in preview? If it works in preview, and all links to pages etc. are very good that there should be no reason for this issue, unless there is a server problem.

After you download the new file, confirmed that this new file is downloaded correctly? You can use any ftp client and connect to your server to check downloaded files. You can contact your Web host for questions at the end of the server.

    Thank you

  • How to walk away with a new site in DW? [was: EatDreams]

I would like to start all over again. How can I delete what I already have in Dreamweaver? What I did I created a folder and it did not store locally and now I can't use the name of the folder that I received instruction to my class. I am really really new to this and make a few mistakes, I just want to start over.

Start by defining a new folder of the Local Site in DW.  Go to Site > new site.  Indicate DW where to store the files on your new site.
