• Do I need the Adobe RAW plugin?

  I recently downloaded Lightroom (current version). Photographer friends tell me that I need the "Adobe RAW Plugin" to process my RAW files before using Lightroom - but they use Photoshop Lightroom not. As I read the RAW page, it seems that this feature is native in Lightroom and I don't need a separate application? I am able to open my RAW files in Lightroom and treat them. Is there a reason I don't want to use the RAW plugin too? First? Instead? I'm confused.

  • Lightroom can be used alone to manage, modify / adjust and print / export versions processed photos.
  • LR (in general) can adjust the appearance of a photo, but cannot change the content of a photo.

  • Photoshop is an example of an external editor, but there are other alternatives.
  • LR can talk either directly and "classically" a program Editor (first making a standard TIFF file for this to work and reading and then later in some changes were recorded in this)-ACR does not (completely irrelevant for this scenario);
  • OR another scenario is for LR to work with Photoshop in particular, offering few additional working methods (Adobe owner). This option is based on PS and Adobe Camera Raw, being present, in versions that are at least contemporary with LR.
  • When LR detects that this is the case, he adopts as a default method for external mounting.
  • When LR detects that this isn't the case, it greys options - for individual images: Edit in PS as smart object, or for multiple images: Edit in PS as layers / Photomerge / HDR.   Plugin check says Adobe Flash PlayerRealNetworks (tm) RealDownloader PepperFlashVideoShim plugin 1.3.0.208 vulnerable but when I click on update, I offer install_flashplayer 17x32_mssa_aaa_aih.exe as an installer. When I run it analyzes security McAfee says that I have already installed the application. Early today ' hui a popup said there was an update for Adobe Flash and I installed it but I don't know the version. Plugin check makes 2 entries for Adobe Flash. The ohher is Adobe Flash PlayerShockwave Flash 17.0 r0 which is updated. I wonder if the update to the first link actually tries to update the sercond (based on the name of the Installer).

  No matter who else I wondered about this? Someone else with w/32-bit XP, downloaded the new update Java in plugins and you're running OK?

• New update of Adobe Muse made my Muse live site unusable

  Export whenever your Muse site, you need to download all the files that Muse has changed. When you install an update of the Muse, the next export will export all the files. If you download only some export Muse files, your site will probably look like blurred when displayed in a web browser.

  I use the Plugin "Merge to 32-bit" with the photomatix software make my HDR editing. With the new update of Adobe, this plugin has stopped working. Anyone know if it's because Adobe LR has blocked or something in that sense or is it just a bug in the new update?

  Photomatix has decided to go back to me again and this time with a link that fixes all photomatix plugins in LR. I've already tested and all included plugins fusion to 32 bit running again. Thanks to the team of photomatix.

  8.2 ACR is not supported by CS5.  To get the bennifits edition complete the ACR 8.2 in LR, would or should adapt Photoshop, or save the files you open in Photoshop as objectives first, while Photoshop does not read information from treatment of ACR, 8.2.

  I hope there, can someone help me with a Lightroom/Photoshop small but annoying issue.  (I saw a similar post on the subject here, but it was for an earlier version of Photoshop Camera Raw and the answers did not help me).

  Whenever I choose to edit in > Photoshop in Lightroom to edit a file I get the message error "this version of Lightroom may require plug-ins verson Raw Photoshop Camera 9.3 for full compatibility.  Now, I know that I can get Lightroom to make the file or hit continue and that he either will get the job done.  But I want to the difficulty of what is the cause.  I'm on a Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.5, I have Lightroom 6.3 (known as camera Raw 9.3 in the section about Lightroom) and I use Photoshop CS6 13.0.6 x 64.  I tried to click on help > update in Lightroom and Photoshop, but this has not solved the problem.  I tried following the instructions on the Adobe Web site to manually update the Camera Raw plugin that is supposed to be located at (from memory) (root folder) library > Application Support > Adobe > Plugins, but I don't have a Plugins folder (and yes I'm looking in the library under the root folder (, not under my user name).

  Advice!

  Camera Raw 9.1.1 is the LATEST version which is compatible with Photoshop CS6.  You will not be able to update to 9.3.  In addition, Lightroom now up to version 6.6.  See the note in this article

  Everyone acts like this is a big deal.  Simply select returned using Lightroom and do not show this dialog box more.  It does not solve the problem?  When you upgrade to CS6, you will not have this problem, it has always been so.

  I'm having a problem serious when I tried to update the Camera Raw plugin for 8 items on Mac. I downloaded the appropriate update (ElementsCameraRaw - 6.3 - mul - AdobeUpdate.dmg, which is specified for Elements 8). Inside, I found an app (AdobePatchInstaller), but when I run it, it said that it takes Adobe Application Manager. I downloaded Adobe Application Manager 1.5 for Mac and installed, but when I tried again to install the Camera Raw update it says that the update is not applicable. I think that maybe the Application Manager version isn't good (it is said CS5, but I have not found one for elements).
