new user email ok except the habit of reading user's outlook again

I don't know if this an outlook 2007 or windows vista since it's two programs.

I created a new account for my wife in outlook and made her a separate user under windows.  Mail sent to it is received on MY outlook.  Everything seems to go OK.  Any ideas. ? I think it's a simple checkbox in one of the programs or it is a compatibility issues.  It is hard to believe that it would be the other.  Surely, what I want to do is already done on thousands of machines.

It's because you all have two same email address ?

I had Outlook 2007 trial version for 60 dyas, not more. What I'm saying now is my memory...
Open Outlook > tools > Acct settings > change > next > Internet settings > Advanced tab check "leave a copy of messages on the server" > OK
That is: your wife will receive its emails. BUT which prevents you from doing his emails too.
Why? Because both of you have the same address.

In my view, there are a Message rule to divert the emails to the user, but don't hold me to that. I don't remember the part.
See if you can find this option by... Tools > rules and alerts

Has anyone invented a way to get the emails that went to the wrong email address until the wrong person reads?

To answer your question, you have to assume that once you have sent the email that it cannot be recovered. Think of it as dropping an old letter in a message box - you can't get it back once it is in the message box.

The reasons are not only technological - it security, privacy, legal and political might be too (e-mail can cross multiple international borders).

One hand practice also, what you want would be difficult because the emails will usually quickly reach their destination server and so can be collected by the recipient of email from this server as soon as sound here.

By ensuring that you are writing your emails correctly in first place is the best.

No, you will NOT be at risk, analysis of electronic mail is a totally redundant process that does nothing but waste time and create problems.  The only way that attachments should be made by all e-mail clients before long resident file system monitor every last one of them until you can do something with them.  My suggestion is to uninstall Norton completely, download and run the Norton Removal Tool of the web Symantec site to clean debris, uninstaller fails to remove, and then reinstall Norton by using the Custom Installation option where you can stop the emails being installed analysis.

I had the same problem.  Get the «user profile service has no user of logan...» "I tried everything I found online and nothing has worked.  Then I reinforced to the back and looked at the whole picture.  It turns out that it wasn't a computer after all problem but a question of the user.  Under folder C:/users/default in the end I managed to delete all subfolders except appdata.  So when you went to create a new user he could not find the correct files to copy to the new profile to store information in.  To ensure that I had a correct records back into the C:/users/default folder, I went on another computer and just copy paste the new default folder from another computer in the folder users on my computer and erased mine.  Of course I could create my comments and new users account once again.  Finally.

I can access my email account, but the line that reads "delete, move, not spam, more' loads ever... so I can't delete the email or anything else. My email account is to verizon yahoo. I need access to my email for various reasons, one of them being pay several bills online and my email account is where to get confirmation that the payment has gone through! My email works through IE, however. I don't want to use IE to see my email... I use Firefox for everything and it would be a pain in the end to have to switch to IE to access my mail. Not to mention, I hate IE - it's like using WEBTV! It's so slow... [address removed by email, please do not provide sensitive information in a public forum] is my email...

To test how Firefox works no 'custom' on your system, could you experience in two minutes?

    Create a new Firefox profile

A new profile will be your plugins installed by system (for example, Flash) and extensions (e.g., security suite toolbars), but no themes, other extensions or other customizations. It should also have databases of completely fresh settings and cool a cache folder.

Out of Firefox and start in profile to help Manager start > run:

    firefox.exe -P

    Do not delete anything here.

Any time want to switch profiles, exit Firefox and return to this dialog box.

Click on the button to create a profile, assign a name like TEST and skip the option to choose a different folder location. Then launch Firefox in the new profile that you have created.

Yahoo does not improve in the new profile?

When you return to the Profile Manager, you might be tempted to use the button Delete a profile on TEST. It's a little too easy to accidentally delete your 'real' profile, so I recommend you to resist the temptation. If you don't want to clean up later, I suggest to make a backup of all your profiles first in case something go wrong.

  • the profile user account folder can be renamed instead of create a new user account

I noticed this issue posted everywhere that none got the answer, the person posting was looking for.  Basically, the question is "can the folder of the user profile account be renamed? '...  I have the same problem.  I sent a PC in for repair.  They reloaded the operating system and created the new test user account.  Rather than just create a new user account, I've renamed the test NAME user account.  I couldn't help but notice later that user account folder name has remained the same "TEST".  That's why you have people to ask the question "can the folder of the user profile account be renamed instead of create a new user account."  It of an easy fix but does not answer the question.

It is not usually. If you have a computer, why not have just him take care of it for you instead of friction top yourself? ;-)

Try this instead if you really must do it yourself:

    1. create a new administrator account. Call it 'CompAdmin' or 'Tech' or similar. You definitely want to have an administrative user account like this set up that you will use not except for emergency situations. You will use this in the elevation of privileges in your daily report - which will be a Standard account - but will not need to connect to CompAdmin after that company copy unless something goes terribly wrong. ;-)

    2. create a new user account Standard for your daily work. This called something that makes you happy. I don't know your real name, so I'll call it "HDXer". Connect to HDXer to create the profile files/folders.

    3. connect to CompAdmin and:

    a. Control Panel > everything on the control panel > Folder Options

    b. click on the view tab, click hidden files and folders, clear the Hide protected operating system files check box and then click OK. Now you can see everything.

    c. using Windows Explorer ("computer"), search for the file C:\Users\Test.

    d. Select all files and folders in this folder, except the following files: Ntuser.dat, Ntuser.dat.log and Ntuser.ini.

    e. click on the Edit menu and then click on copy. If you don't see the Edit menu, press ALT.

    f. Locate the C:\Users\HDXer folder.

    g. click the Edit menu and then click on paste. If you don't see the Edit menu, press ALT.

Sign out and then sign back in as a HDXer. All your stuff should be there. You need to configure your icons and wallpaper (Control Panel > Personalize) and some preferences have been postponed, but really with the exception of the email all your data, Favorites, etc., should now be at the HDXer.

If you have messages in an e-mail program, such as Windows Live Mail, Thunderbird or Outlook, you must import your e-mail messages and addresses to the new user profile before you delete the old profile. Because I don't know what you use for email, I can't give you the details about it. If everything is working properly, you can remove the old Test profile by using the user accounts applet in Control Panel. It won't hurt anything to make you leave the trial on the system for a while, or even forever.

  • Adding new user limited now that it is the only account that I can connect to

I can not connect as administrator on my windows xp pro 2002.  After you have configured the new limited user can't access a login screen other than my limited user account.  I did some research and tried several fixes. all to nothing does not.  Here are some of the things I did to remedy the situation and what happened:

    1. on the Welcome screen, click ctr, remove ALT twice... Nothing happens and still allows me to log on as a limited user
2 enter the hidden in safe mode administrator account.  When you connect in safe mode, it asks that I choose a user in the list... There are no users listed.
3 download Tweeku, allow me to download this program, or any other file .exe "NOT a VALID WIN32 APPLICATION".
4 4 changer change username, log in, etc.  All don't allow my same limited access account
    5. I tried to many other fixes as well, all with access denied... any privledges.

Bottom line... If I could do to an empty login screen, I would be able to login as administrator.  I note that in user accounts in Control Panel there is only my limited user listed but in virtue of the computer/administrative management tools there are my admin and accounts admin hidden as well as a few others but all have been disabled except the limited user account.   I'm out!  Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.
