Newsletters: Targeting subscribers by State

Hello

My client is looking for a way to be able to target its newsletters/campaigns by State.

The way I think I should be able to do this is for me to set up the subscription form so that it adds the user to multiple mailing lists. Is this feasible? If Yes, do you there is some resources are circulating which could help?

I'm open to do this using an alternative approach, if any.

One way you could do this is to create a form in line (or modify an existing one) and add all the mailing lists you have, something like that.

Then, based on the value of the {module_homestate} example check mail appropriate list box using javascript, a switch statement - http://www.w3schools.com/js/js_switch.asp would allow you to compare the results of {module_homestate} with a list of the known States.

Alternatively, you can do so at the time wherever the user subscribes to your system, the mechanism is similar, but this time you need to decide what mailing list to check according to what the client enters the text box 'State '.

Maybe, but it depends. You need view the State of retail

To understand what is happening on the peek at the value of the STATE_DETAILS attribute.

The system may be busy or Exchange or Exchange or hungry CPU or audits of State CRS are infrequent.

See how CRS checks the State of the resources? See the CHECK_INTERVAL attribute value.

How long it takes for the State to get in sync with the target? Compare with CHECK_INTERVAL.

Captivate 9 Drag and Drop DropIncorrect State does not

I ve done a Drag and Drop interaction, where I have 4 targets and 4 drag only one correct answer for each of the sources. I've added States for Drop targets:
DropCorrect State, The target turns Green when pressing submit, and the answer is correct.
DropIncorrect State, target Drop becomes Red when press submit and answer is incorrect.
I thought that it would be a good way to show the user which targets Drop are correct and which aims to drop they must change to get the right answer.
When the answer is correct, Drop targets turns green and I made an action that says "OK, click anywhere to continue."
BUT when the answer is wrong, nothing happens to the colors of the Drop target. It s just a failed, Try Again message. Nothing more.
Why isn´t the State DropIncorrect showing when I press the submit button and the answer is incorrect?

I just checked the file of this article, which was created on an earlier version of 9 and it works well also for the State of DropInCorrect, but I have only 1 attempt! I suspect that your endless attempts are the cause of the DropIncorrect does not. Compare it with actions on a question slide: success action will be performed when the answer is correct, but the other action will be done only at the last attempt is finished and the answer is wrong. Since you have endless attempts, this last attempt event never occurs.

Passage of custody of data with broker fails with ORA-16570 / ORA-16665

I'm using Data Guard 11 g on Windows Server 2012 64 Bit. Recently, I have configured the broker to manage the permutations more uncomfortable.
Unfortunately the digital switchover does not work. Broker Setup seems fine, since I can activate t and redo apply works perfectly...
Now, the behavior is as follows... Once I put the passage through brokers, it shows the following:

Error: ORA-16665: wait for the result of a database
Failed.
Unable to failover, primary database is always "smart".
The digital switchover happens, there is no restart of the primary database well! Does not appear to be linked to a DGMGRL buggy service entrance. In fact the database will not yet descended. The principal is supending all processes while trying to do so. Broker runs into a timeout, of course, but the principal remains in a State of supending. The primary doesn't seem to be able to cominicate with side standby or vice versa. Which is strange since the restoration of log shipping and apply is workng fine as mentioned... do a manual failover. I don't know what could cause this kind of behavior... Double checked everything. Once I restart the two databases and align on the rule of law that the digital transition is complete. But Needless to say that it is not intending to use the broker...

Solved!

A logon trigger that makes an insert in a table for each log in the appearance of this behavior. Since dataguard brings the standby database open mode ReadOnly cannot insert the trigger and the strange behavior as described happens!

to check the status, I'm not so much concern on what command use.

Today, I noticed that the db node was down. 2nd node was up and works fine
Pendle [home/oracrs] $ srvctl status database-d NFT
RPRC-1007: could not verify the State of the resources ora.nft.db
RPRC-1055: Cluster membership check failed for node tatton

I brought two db nodes using srvctl and then tried to raise. 1st node did not come but the 2nd came upward.

Cannot copy the planning data
Hi gurus,
I'm unable to copy data by using "copy data" in the planning of a web application.
get an error "MSG_COPY_DATA_OPTIONS_FAILED: an error occurred when executing the specified calc script." Check the log for details".

Here are the steps I checked:
I checked if the planning and essbase are synchronized.
The DBA team says that there are no spikes in memory.

Error trying to add my ESX datastore SCSI

Hi guys,.
New here, my name is Jean Defrank and I would like to know why does the am am this error message?
I have four servers ESX 4 running on a cluster, I was able to add the new data store for three of them, but the last (number 4) ESX Server gives me this error message.
Go nats trying to find a solution to this problem... but nothing so far. What can I do?

Definition of strategy of password in Oracle 10 g

Could you guide me please? Up to date, it was not a policy of passwords in our database, which means that the user can define anything for their password of 10 g. But now we need to implement a password policy and would appreciate some advice in this.

We do not use Enterprise Manager, we chose to not set it up on our system.

Here are the steps that I suggest you to set the password policy:

1 edit $ORACLE_HOME/rdbms/admin/utlpwdmg.sql to change the values of default profile to the desired values.
2. as a SYS run utlpwdmg.sql

Is this correct? Is there anything else I need to do?

SQL for conditional operation

I have two tables and maintains the target table based on the value of the column of the source table. I would use a SQL to manage the different conditions. Here are the tables:

Create table tb_src)

I use the following SQL to manage the logic. So once table scan on the source table will be good enough. The logic is simple:
whenever there is a new record(flag = I), insert into the target table, set state = 1;
whenever it is an up-to-date record (flag = M), update the record in the target table when there is incompatibility, set status = 2;
whenever it's a record (flag = D) to remove, set the status to 3 in the target table.

I have installed an agent on a new machine... Agent status seems good... the agent url and download url works agent... grid control accesses the url of the agent...

actually I don't think it is necessary to bring the database.

While you register a database within the OCR with srvctl add database and the instance with srvctl add instance the database itself is not check or touched in any form.
It's just simply an entry in the OCR.

However, the default value after adding a database to the OCR is the TARGET STATUS is offline (and also the current state).
Up to 11 GR 2 there is no such thing as a 'off LINE CHECK INTERVAL", which will check the resource, no matter if it's supposed to be offline, so she got in line in other ways.

So the clusterware never checks if the database is online and therefore stay LIGNE/hors offline (although db is running).

However you can simply try from the database with srvctl start database, which will be:
(a.) the State TARGET ONLINE value
(b) attempts to start the database
(c.) check the status of the database.

While you will receive an error in step b). the result should be a LINE/ONLINE resource, given that the rest will be executed.

Can stick us to the standard terminology of APEX: do you mean Parent (level 2) tab or the tab Standard (level 2)?

Parent tabs this is done directly using the box Erase the Cache property and reset pagination for this page of the tab target.

For the Standard tabs, create processes from before header tab target:
Session state > clear Cache...
Reset the Pagination

I am trying to create a registration page that puts the data entered by the user in a database. That part works: there is a connection to the database and the information is placed in the database correctly. To avoid spam, I would add captcha on the form. I've been looking at the possibilities of reCaptcha, and the result is the following: the image appears correctly and the image is renewed when you click on the link. But the problem is that this captcha can be controlled without adding "verify.php" action to the form. How can I, in Dreamweaver, add a second action to the form?
