  I understand if I publish to new folios three times a year, I'd be all right in the App Store and the newsstand (and not get rejected on the upgrades.) However, is that the calendar based on a calendar year, or it begins from the date of that first application went live?

  For booth Apple indicates you must publish at least one number per quarter, so it's 4 issues per year. Apple does not have a presentation of your new App so with a single sheet, however they cannot approve updated the application or may send you a warning if you do not publish one issue per quarter following the date of submission of the application.

  That is right. The newsstand app was eliminated in iOS 9. You will need to drag new apps in the press kit.

• Newsstand app does not appear folios in China

  This week, I published a new folio in one of our applications. It displays fine for me (in the United Kingdom) and American colleagues, but some people in China are reporting no folios charge in the Library Viewer.

  The app and folio are free, I have not specified all differences for the application in different countries. Public, free of charge, all fine.

• V26 does not not on App Newsstand

  Hi all

  In the version of this month of the magazine I work for, I used the tools V26.  Previously, I used V25 during the last 3 questions.

  Because I downloaded the magazine of June, we had everyone complaining that they are unable to download the magazine.  The error code States:

  "Please update your application": this question is available for download, but requires a newer version of the application.  Update your app on the App Store. »

  I think it was the v26 that messed up the magazine. I also tried to make the 'free Article Preview' but that no longer works. I checked everything with the Accounnt Administration and have 2 items defined for 'release' in the control panel.  Also I made sure the app is V26.  The 'Free' button is not upward when you open the magazine of June.

  If anyone can help me, I would appreciate it.  I tried to call support, but they are closed.

  The cause of this now gets a lot of negative comments.

  You update the application itself and submit it to Apple? Otherwise, it is the

  problem.

  You cannot use an application with a v26 folios v25. Either re-create the folio or

  update the application.

  The newsstand app has been abandoned with the release of the iOS 9. All subscriptions that you had in the kiosk application when you upgraded to iOS 9 were automatically placed in a folder named newsstand. You can leave your subscription in this folder or move out of the folder on the desktop or any other folder if you want. You can add more magazines directly from the App Store app - open that and either search for a specific name or loss featured then categories and then newspapers and Magazines magazine.

  • Create a subscription with the unique product ID product

  • Access to the project settings > store

  • Enter in Itunes Connect Shared Secret

  • In itunes Connect - point product of free membership create and assign a product ID of AEMM

  • Assign the product to build App and submit the control application.

  I have create a unique subscription ID, so it is not bound to a single collection. What I'm missing here?

  The last step is the problem. iOS subscriptions run on a collection plan, not a level of app. After you create the product subscription, you must assign this product ID to one or several collections and not the application itself.

  I'm curious. Why do you want to set up a free subscription? Apple launches a free subscription to the time background downloads worked only in kiosk applications to newspapers and free subscriptions were the only way to get an app with free content on newsstands. Now that the background downloads are supported in applications non-kiosque to newspapers and kiosk will disappear, why want to offer you a free subscription? Maybe you want to get information about the user? Unless you have a good reason, I recommend that you avoid adding subscriptions to your application.

  Hi, the cover in iTunes Connect does not apply to the cover on newsstands, except when the user installs the app first. The kiosk cover should be reflective of the last issue published in your application and is retrieved by the application and sent to the newsstand. It will update the application receives a helping hand from kiosk or you run the application, a new issue is detected.

• Kiosk Folio appears does not despite the correct product id and account information

  This question is always with all my apps. Despite the fact that I theTax and banking information updated on my itunes, I also have good product ID for questions about the producer of folio. All sheets I have published since the beginning of this year are no where on the newsstands.  My subscribers are to be deplored that the magazine, they paid for are not available for reading. I was in a deep *!

  Kindly help, which could be responsible for all sheets have been published is no do not appear on the newsstands.

  Here are the things I've done.

  -J' have the right product Id for the monthly folio on the producer of folio

  -J' I create each cover on newsstands

  -J' updated DPS on my mac

  -J' I updated the app to v32 and made compatible with iOS 8

  -I make sure that each magazine's cover date on the producer folio and the newsstand.

  -J' I do not publish and republish

  -J' sent notification of all magazine and yet they do not appear.

  -J' recreated the mobile configuration certificates for the magazine.

  Please I'm waiting for any requirement to help you investigate what might be responsible for the non appearance of all my folios on all my magazines with Adobe DPS.

  I have reviewed your account based on the name of the company, and I see some inconsistencies in the way in which you manage your product ID:

  1. you use the same product ID for your subscription as well as the different in-app purchases - a subscription product ID is different for an individual in-app purchase, you can not use the same one

  2 - most of your folios retail using the same product ID considering each sheet must have a identifier unique.

  You should review your app individual purchases in iTunes Connect. Make sure you have unique IDS for each edition you published.

  Once you have done this, update your publications with the correct ID. If you do not "renditions", your Folio producer should never lists the same product twice ID.

  I do a monthly magazine for the iPad with the Adobe DPS unique edition that comes with the creative cloud. This means that I can only make apps for a single question (1 question in the application) and I can't do multi-probleme apps (several questions in 1 app). My client is not ready to pay the tax of Professional Adobe DPS 'expensive' 3600 euros per year which is understandable, because my client is a medium size Publisher. So far, I always brought the last magazine issue on the App Store via a status update app (version 1.1, version 1.2, version 1.3, etc.). However, the problem here is that I have to wait for this app update be reviewed and approved by Apple. In the last 6 months, which takes 3 to 4 days. Now, he's already taken 7 days and the current issue of the magazine is a very sensitive time and my client is very upset about it (understandably).

  So, I thought of the evolution of the application in an application that appears on newsstands. However, I have read that kiosk does not support single-issue apps which is logical to a certain extent. But I am trying to find an alternative for my dilemma because I really want to avoid the wait time for an app to be reviewed and approved. I already called iTunes Connect to the United States to talk this through and they said that download automatically in the background (as I need it for my magazine application) are ONLY possible with an application of newsstand.

  Short of paying for a pro or business account there is nothing that you can do.

  You can check other suppliers, but you will see that even if some may be

  less expensive there is no free way to handle this.

  Don't implement everything in-app purchase in iTunes. Just post your public/free content in Folio Producer.

• Developer App Viewer won't install on newsstands (blackened)

  I'm trying to submit our first Digital Publishing Suite (Professional Edition) application to Apple and the DPS App Builder to create a developer .ipa file so I can test the app on my iPad. I followed the steps described in the "step-by-step Guide" Adobe provided and created the .ipa successfully.  However, when I install and sync my iPad, I see on the newsstands is our application "blackened" - as an application looks like when it is not completely installed.  I tried to install it on another iPad, and it's the same thing.  When I try to click on the app, nothing happens.

  I tried to remove and reinstall. I have rebuilt the app. I went from a subscription to folio multi.  Nothing works.  Maybe this only effects the application developer, but I'm not comfortable to submit to Apple if it does not work.

  OK, app will not install because the UDID of the device is incorrect/absent from the mobile provisioning cert or invalid certificates .p12. Redo certificates, rebuilt the app, trash and replace the old app in iTunes and re-synchronization. If CERT were correct, it must be installed very well

  I have a post that I just added to the newsstand. I intend to publish 3 times a year. What is the minimum number of monthly/annual required newsstand questions? What happens to my publication if I do not meet the minimum requirements?

  Apple is not rejecting your application if you do not publish, but they could not approve a new version of your application no later than if you are unable to publish new content. If you publish new folios three times per year, you should be fine.

  I read through he documentation and unfortunately, I am still quite confused. To my knowledge, newsstand apps MUST have subscriptions, whether free or paid. This is where I am stuck because I don't want to offer to all subscriptions. Does this mean kiosk is not possible, in any form?
