NFC invoke App of Textrecord?

I would like to open an APP to an NFC tag.

Here is my InvokationParameters:

        APPLICATION

            bb.action.OPEN
            application/vnd.rim.nfc.ndef

Something like this is the payload of the Textrecord:

#d894fce0-c6e5-11e3-a5e4-0002a5d5c51b#42

If my application is open (in the foreground), it works well, I'm checking first if the UUID is correct to avoid the bad NFC Tags with text - and then according to the ID do my action automated within the scanning application.

Is there a way to set filters this way to open my application?

so all the NFC with textRecord Tags whose payload starts with automatically call my application?

got a quick feedback from John Murray on Twitter (@jcmrim)

He confirmed that it is not possible to filter on a model in the content of the text field

so, I implémenterai a record of custom type

  • cannot access the file (email-> accessory-> invoke APP)

I have some cases where I am sending files through BBM surveys or attached to e-mail messages.

These files have a suffix that is personalized, so I can call him my application

This is the workflow using BBM Messages:

(based on this thread and the suspicion of Mark Sohms)

    • The target BBM user must accept the transmission of files
    • BBM target to save the file anywhere, e.g. shared / downloads
    • Click on the file from BBM surveys opens my target application
    • my call manager was called
    • I get the URI and can read the contents of the file

This workflow is easy to follow

This is the workflow by using e-mail Messages:

    • Target device gets e-mail in the HUB
    • By tapping the attachment ivokes my app
    • my call manager was called
    • I get the URI, but in this case, I could not read the file
      • error: permission denied

This is the URI, I get:

    file:///accounts/1000/invoke//xa00000000001a0/

the only way to get this is open:

    • long press on the attachment
    • Save anywhere
    • the file manager
      • Navigate to the file
      • tap on the file
      • App is called
    • now I can read the file

This isn't a fort in a manner very intuitive user he ;-)

any idea to access the file directly from e-mail message?

Replace with your app to app world id.

  • Invoke the BlackBerry App World de Page Web/App.

In the BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha, it is easy to invoke the BlackBerry App World using the direct link of the browser or the app like this:

    appworld://vendorpage/7765 (the number's provider ID)

    or

appworld://content/19996436 (the number is the ID of your application)

My question is... What happened to invoke App World and page then provider of BlackBerry PlayBook? I used 'appworld://vendorpage/7765' and it does not work on the PlayBook. I tried using "appworld://search/zanuzawa" (zanuzawa is my name of the seller) but he said 'no result '.

    Any suggestion? Thanks before.

  • NFC political "Allow transfer of work using NFC data" opens too many doors

There are two strategies for BB10 on BES 12.3 for applications using NFC:

    a generic NFC

    and also

"Allow transfer of work data using NFC"

    UseCase:

Enterprise application runs the Cascades APP in the scope of work to register participants for events using the NFC

APP is the reading of the ID of the NFC with C chip

For this NFC card specific my Enterprise customer use, I had to put the two policies to allow reading of the ID cards.

If there are employees more then a sweep of the participant - maps, in the end, we should collect all scanned and upload to the server (probably later because wifi is bad in many hotels)

I have to transfer the collection ID of one peripheral BB10 to another creates a folder SNEP. (also using (C)

SNEP transfers text/plain and secure data I encrypt the data and then encode Base64 for this exchange of data can be done between devices running the same app 'know' encrypt/decrypt.

    Here the problem:

definition of the policy "allow the transfer...". "This opens for applications: you can mark the text and share it using NFC to other devices running all apps supporting NMIs private or work scope of NFC.

transfer of files using the part of the NFC can be disabled policy, but for example set the text of email from work and transfer as text outside the scope of work is a possible leak.

So it would be great, not only to have a comprehensive policy "allow the transfer...". "to the BES12, but also a specific authorization for BB10 apps.

Maybe there is already something like this? (I know there are some additional permissions that are not included in the boxes of bar descriptor.xml editor)

If not, where to place a request for security feature because it targets BES and waterfalls.

It is really important for my client to the company (from Finance Services that run many devices BB10)

    THX help

    GOD

I have it.  I don't think that there is a way to do it without opening the holes that you mention.  Climbing the functionality through their account manager would be the best way to go.

  • Invoke the application via a custom protocol URL browser

With the new breed of OAuth2 API such as Pocket there is now more and more need for apps complement the OAuth2 flow in default browser OS outside the Application. It also means that once the Auth process is complete, there must be a way to invoke app or pass data to browser application via redirect URL.

Currently it seems achievable on platforms like android by registering a custom for an application URL protocol handler. This way browser can use redirection what custom URL with a Protocol and application would be invoked via redirects and the address bar of the browser.

I see that current invocation framework supports the URI patterns but I can't make it work, can someone point me to any example of code that allows the invocation of application via browser?

This sample project should show you what files are used for oauth2 https://github.com/kylefowler/foursquare

    Hello

I am building an app WebWorks to send email directly from the App (without invoking the electronic card).

No there is no way to send an email using BlackBerry Webworks without calling card? I mean directly send the email from the app?

    Thank you

Well Yes, I'm sure that you have only a few options (unless I'm out to lunch here..)

    1. send electronic card

    2. to run a server and use something like sendmail in PHP

  • Invoke the BB Apps to a normal Web page

Hi guys, I'm basically a single native C++ developer and this is because I never could get my head around HTML/JS. Now, I need a help from you guys. I know this is a little far-fetched, but want to know if it is possible to invoke a BB app from a normal html file, not compiled? That is to say; one who was not built using SDK WebWorks BB?

the thing is, I want a Web page that can open the settings as soon as it is loaded on the browser integrated device a BB10. No opportunities?

As I said this is only theoretical, but yes, that would work essentially

It's actually a concept useful - register app / as a type MIME then a link on a web page any could open

A (very short) look at the native docs implies that it is indeed possible, as it appears that you can save a mime as an invocation type

There is a submission program that allows us to record targets invocation so, essentially, I would say that it is possible

I looked quickly the news - no in-depth research

It really gives me a great idea for one of my own projects so can investigate properly in a few weeks
