  . JPG and NRW images will upload more from my Nikon Coolpix P7800 to the camera section post it in the Finder on my MacBook Pro.

  So far they have downloaded automatically when I plugged my camera into my Macbook but not anymore. This means that they also aren't in Nikon View NX2 program so I can't work with them.

  I have not changed anything as far as I am aware, but I MacKeeper and I recently had do them an audit of the single system. Maybe people it changed something, but I'm pretty sure that the problem existed before that date.

  (a) the question is, where you want to create a folder? Library office or photo?
   
  (b) is your device detected in Device Manager or my computer?
   
  (c) what is your operating system?
   
  (d) when you connect the camera to the laptop, do you have the auto play options?
   
  If so, you can select the import option. Once selected, all photos would have copied in the library of photos under Windows 7.
   
  Follow the steps below and check if that helps.

  To answer your question on ID the Yes send a copy or your school ID will be fine or whatever it is with proof of your name. They just need a copy of the proof of the ID.

  Downloads of video but when I try to play windows media player flashes a message saying that he met with a problem and wont play video. If I try to record video on Windows live movie maker it used and it tells me error 0 x 80004005. What I am doing wrong?

  We start with two questions:

  1. the problem occurs only for a particular disc?

  2 are you able to open other discs?

  3. do you get an error message? If Yes, what is the full and exact error message?

  4. have you installed Windows XP Service pack 3 on the computer?

  If you are faced with the question with a particular disc, there are chances that it might be damaged. I suggest you check out the link and try to download the software:

I tried the compatibility thread, but my camera has not been listed here (nikon coolpix 5600).  I bought a memory card class 10 (another brand), & my camera would not accept.  I wrote to nikon & they only list sandisk 256 MB, high-speed type of 10Mo as compatible, but I can't find it for sale anywhere... so thought I would try here to see if anyone knows of any other memory of sandisk class 10 cards that could adapt to my camera... Thank you, in advance, for any input you can offer... :-)

  If you have an official Nikon statement you can use up to 256 MB card then you must go with that and use one of these cards. Unfortunately these are ancient maps and I'm not sure if you still find some on sale.

  The problem has been resolved.

  I talked to the camera store expert who advised me to bypass the software and work through my computer / Scanners & cameras / L16.

  The wizard performed camera download in seconds!

  It sems that the Nikon software is not compatible with Windows XP.

  I hope that this experience will be useful to other users of Nikon.

• Nikon ViewNX program does not

  I recently bought a Nikon Coolpix P90 camera. I have installed the software provided with the camera, but the ViewNX program that is suppose to allow me to edit, adjust my willingness to images etc... does not.  I get an error message saying that ViewNX has stopped working. A problem caused the blocking of the program works correctly. Windows will close the program and notify me if a solution is available.

  I contacted Nikon and they said that it is the Quicktime program, so I reinstalled Quicktime and Nikon ViewNX programs and still nothing. They told me that they basically can only help.

  This problem may occur because of conflicts with other programs that are installed on the computer. I would say to clean boot, and then test to see if the ViewNX program works very well.

  Step 1: Put the computer in a clean boot, and then test

  Follow step 1 in the link below,

  How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

  If everything works well after a clean boot, you can deduce that some third-party services are at the origin of the problem.

  Continue with the remaining steps to pin-point on the third party service.

  After find you the program that is causing the problem, you will have to perhaps to update or install a newer version of the program, if you rarely use that you should consider uninstalling the software.

  Important: n ' forget not the computer to start normal follow step 7 in the link.

  See the answer to Kiran Jayakumar, but note also that you can transfer prictures on the computer without connecting the camera to him. You can buy very low cost card reader USB flash for your camera card uses the type of flash and allows to transfer photos.

  It is as well as I do; I prefer to do it like this: it's fast and easy and it uses no battery in the camera. I have two of these drives: one that I keep on my desk and I continue with my laptop for use when traveling.
