Nikon D810, NAVE existing problem.

I have a new Nikon D810 and photos with Photoshop cannot support the NEF files.

Which version of photoshop and the operating system are you using?

If your photoshop cs6, cc or cc 2014, then help > updates of Photoshop, you should get camera raw 8.6, which should allow photoshop open nikon D810 files.

  • Nikon D500 NAVE High ISO NR problem with the LR [double wire: locked]

    Hello

    My setup is D500 (firmware: C1.01, LD2.013) + LR v6.51.

I pulled two photos of test ISO = 25600. One with NR off and a NR = norm. Of the LCD screen, I can say that each NR is noisier.

Guess what? previews of these two files are the same in LR, i.e., both are very loud. The output files JPEG (with the default expansion parameter and no reduction of noise in LR) are also very loud. Two 10 MB JPEG files are only 2 bytes off the coast!

However, using Irfanview 4.35 directly display both files NAVE works as expected. In other words, the NR = norm is cleaner.

Obviously, LR v6.51 ignores parameter NR of D500.

    If anyone can check this?

    Thank you!

  • I have problems with my Nikon D810 to Lightroom CC at the El Capitan of attachment, but also I can't download the images to Lightroom either.  Is there an end to this soon?

Looks like nothing is more compatible.  My Nikon D810 attaches to Lightroom CC.  My map of 1066 x Lexar mounted in a Lexar Professional 3.0 Professional Dual Slot card USB Reader says also the files are corrupt and will not download or even copy it into a folder on my desktop.  I have an iMac 27 "mid-2012 and a 2010 Macbook Pro to fit images on the site upgraded to SSD and a second 750 GB drive just.  Nothing works anymore, and it becomes quite difficult to call me a 'Professional' commercial photographer when I'm having all these intractable questions in front of my clients.  This has been a problem for too long!  Can you please help or solve this problem?

What is the destination folder that the date be underneath?  In the top right it says users who suggests, you try to put the photos on top of your username instead of under your username.  Maybe that's the problem.  So change your folder in the drop-down list at the bottom right of what it should be rather than users, and if you're going to show us the destination of your photos at least scroll through the list of folders down right so that we can see which is the white highlight.

  • Nikon Raw naves D810 worked about two months ago.  Now they do not :/

I've been a computer professional artist for more than 20 years.  I even worked on many major motion pictures you've seen.  But, in all this time, no single technical error me not annoyed almost as bad as this one.  I paid the extra money to upgrade my copy of Lightroom.  Alone, which took almost a day to talk about Adobe because they were confused about what country I lived in.  After a long test and a full day of work, I finally managed to read D810s NAVE.  Today, about 6 weeks later, I'm trying to import NAVES of the D810 and it says it's an unrecognized format.  I don't have anything to this machine, so I guess that automatic update broke something about the reading of the NAVE.  I mean seriously?!

If you have been previously import NEF D810, then you have two copies of installed LR, ancient and more recent version. This occurs when you are upgrading major releases. With both copies installed, you would seem to run at the old version. This can easily occur when the installation of the new version does not correctly update the desktop icons. (Happens more often than it should).

  • CS5 (camera raw 8.7.1) do not read files NAVE of Nikon d810

I just bought Nikon d810. I have CS5. All updates are up to date and I downloaded Camera Raw 8.7.1 but Photoshop/bridge still cannot read NEF files. What I am doing wrong?

The last Camera Raw for CS5 is 6.7. Only Photoshop CS6 can take 8.7.1.

You need the DNG Converter to change the Nikon RAW in dmg format in order to open it in CS5.

Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Macintosh: Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1

Adobe - Adobe Camera Raw and DNG Converter: for Windows: Adobe DNG Converter 8.7.1

Good news.  The problem has been resolved.

Jim Hess has proposed the following:

"I don't have a total solution for you. But in the screenshot you provided, the image you are trying to import is already on the hard drive. What happens if you switch from the copy option to add? I was wondering if that could import one image. We must start somewhere, right?"

Just for info, before I had been using the function 'Copy' or the function "import and convert to DNG.  So I have exactly like Jim suggested and "Added" one image (a NAVE which had been converted to DNG).  By using the function 'Add' not only worked, but now, Lightroom is recognizing the file NAVE of Nikon D810 and import as a champion.  I don't HAVE NO reinstall Lightroom.  Just "Adde" that photo and that seemed to fix everything that was happening.

I don't know about you, but I suspect there was a problem of association with Lightroom who need to restore a path to the catalog somehow.

Thank you for all your help.  I sincerely appreciate it!

  • Camera Raw 9.1 and Nikon D810 Photoshop Lightroom CC2015 and CC2015

Do I have to buy Photoshop and Lightroom CC 2015 programs before they recognize my for my D810 Nikon NEF files?

I tried in vain for three days to get the trial versions of Photoshop and Lightroom CC 2015 to recognize my for my D810 Nikon NEF files.  I have read the forums on Camera Raw 9.1; downloaded and installed updates several times; and I still can't get it to work.  My folder under Program Files/Common Files Adobe does not reflect the camera Raw 9.1, but reflects Camera Raw 5 and 8.  Documentation under help in the program button reflect that Camera Raw 9.1 is the program you use, but I can't find it on my computer when I perform a search for the file.

I installed the bridge CC and he sees the JPEG and NEF files, but when I click on a file with the D810 NAVE, it opens up Photoshop CC 2015 and it says that it cannot open this file.  I downloaded the DNG Converter and it also does not recognize my files for the D810 NAVE. When I click on help/update programs, they just take back me to the creative Application of cloud and the option "Manage the Application" is grayed out (not Accessible) under the setup button.  The only available option is uninstall.

I installed CS4 and have used successfully for several years, and I would continue to use Photoshop with my Nikon D810.  Programs to work with my NEF files created with my Nikon D5000, and I know that the program is installed correctly.

Thank you in advance for any help, I can get with this problem.

Yes, probably too large for email. Yahoo (my e-mail domain) accepts up to 25 MB. As the captive images worked fine, I lean toward "corrupt" files Sometimes View NX2 Soundtracks transfer only files enough for ACR/LR does not read, but still the Nikon software. Have you tried the fix NAVE in my previous post?

  • Why ACR CC does not recognize QPcalibration of Nikon D810

I used to make the calibrations of color with a map 203 PS:

    (1) take a picture of the QPcard real light with f.ex. Nikon D300S,

    (2) use QPcalibration to create a named colorprofile,

    (3) which shows in CameraRaw 8.7.1 Clibration camera in the CameraProfile drop-down list and in the profile of Calibration of camera to develop LR. (If the photo is taken with Nikon D300S)

But this does not work with Nikon D810.

The computer is running under Win7 x 64 professional (DK).

    5.7, ACR 7.7 LR, Ps CC 14.2.1 x 64

    There cameraprofiles

    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles\Camera

    and in

    C:\users\username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\CameraProfiles

Everthing seems to work as it did with D300s except:

I have can´t persuade ACR and LR to show my new PS profiles!

    What's wrong?

    / Carsten

There is something wrong with your NEF file.  This isn't a problem to Adobe.  Either way, you mention ACR 7.7.  Are you sure you don't mean 8.7?  I use CC 2014 and the version of ACR is 8.7.

I use PS calibration with the PS card 203 successfully with my D810.  First of all, in order to use the D810 with PS card you need to do two things.  1.), upgrade your software for Calibration of PS version 1.99.  If you still 1.21 b it does NOT support the NAVE of the D810 (D750) files.  2.) If you want to upgrade the software, you need to convert you NAVE in a DNG file, and your profile from that.  Version 1.21 b will support DNG D810 files.

Having said that, I downloaded your sample NAVE of Dropbox and tried it out.  First of all, your NEF file is smaller than I'm used.  For only 32 MB.  Using RAW 12 bit?  Or 14-bit visually lossless compressed mode?  I wonder if QP calibration supports modes.  In any case, when I opened your Calibration PS file is was just goofy.  The white PS Basemap is a pink color.  I was able to make a profile with him and he appeared in ACR, but it was quite useless.

    Hope that helps.

  • Importing RAW of Nikon D810 error

Have tried to import my Nikon D810 in LR5 RAW files, I get an error message that the files are not recognized.

My D800 RAW files are imported okay.

What is the reason for this and what can be done?

I am a professional wedding photographer and need to start addressing these images as soon as POSSIBLE

I thank everyone for their help!

NAVE D810 files are still not recognized by LR, so your best bet is to download converter DNG 8.6, downloadable for free from the Adobe site and convert your funds into DNG files you can import into Lightroom. A future version of LR will certainly solve this problem, but for now, it's the only option. Oh, BTW, does that with the naves full-size, new sRaw files cannot be used for the moment.

  • Import of Nikon D810 hangs up

I just bought a Nikon D810 and spin the last update for LR 6 (6.6, I think) on a Mac (El Capitan).  When you try to import. NEF files from an SD card or via a USB cable, Lightroom hang up as soon as the import screen.  Photos does not appear, but will be of gray boxes - simply no Imaging.

Any ideas?  I'm importing. Files NAVE of my D3200 without any issues whatsoever before getting the new camera.

    TIA.

    Chris

I have updated the firmware of the device from 1.10 to 1.11.  I did not take pictures after I did that, however, or reformat the SD card.

And now, I could just import the SD card normally.

I'll take pictures tomorrow and see if it still works or not.

  • 4.4 Lightroom; Camera Raw 7.4 and Photoshop CS6 13.0.6. Not compatible with Nikon D810 raw files

I work with Lightroom 4.4; Camera Raw 7.4 and Photoshop CS6 13.0.6. Last month I bought a new camera Nikon D810, when trying to open files with this software I'm told that the files are not compatible with this version. I have updated their until I could, but still I can not work with my new file format. What is the solution?

You must update your version of Lightroom to 5.6 or newer to support the native file of the NAVE of the Nikon D810. Take a look at this page for more information on when a particular camera support has been added to Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

  • Tethering with Nikon D810

Hello, I tried to get my camera Nikon D810 strap, so I can work from Lightroom for some photos of the products.  I updated my firmware in the camera, updated all the software updates and I use a Macbook Pro with USB3 ports. It will connect to download lightroom from the camera, but when I want to attach it, it says no connection. Can anyone here help me?  I spent hours on the phone with Nikon and they gave saying the camera is very good and it is a matter of Lightroom. My camera is on the list to work with this software.  I read that others have this problem as well.  Is there a solution?  Please... any help will be appreciated.  Thank you.  Tecapp

It was a known issue with Nikon SDK on Mac El Capitan although it has been fixed in version 6.4 of Lightroom.

In my view, that there is no solution for Lightroom 5.7.1 to attach.

    Your options are:

    • downgrade your operating system
    • Version of Lightroom upgrade
    • Use the tool attach Nikon (if available)
  • Lightroom offering do not hitch for nikon d810 support

Hello, my nikon d810 is not tie with the latest version of Lightroom. Someone knows why?

  • Room light CC Tether on Nikon D810

    Hello fellow Lightroom users.

Capture One version 9 was released, and it's Lightroom where it hurts the most.  Users flee to lightroom because of all of the issues that remains unresolved.  For example, I am an avid user of Lightroom and use my Nikon D810 to shoot in my studio. However, when El Capitan came out, waited about a mount to make sure that the bugs were out and all the drivers were available.  Then I upgraded my Mac.  WOW, to my surprise, I'm more able to attach my Nikon D810 from Lightroom.  What the devil?  How long it will take for Adobe patch this useful area?  Hey, they don't appear because they launched a version of fiasco that they had to go home because they have taken away a key element for IMPORTS that we all love.  I'm not sure what are the Execs at Adobe, but they sre are dropping the ball recently.  Maybe they need is no longer our Fund because they're already milking our monthly subscription fees.  My students are also disappointed because they all turned Nikon and they all Macs with El Capitan.  Thank good ness for Capture One.  They are on point and their processing engine is to get better than ever.  They do not have two screens (library & process) to be concerned.  I hope the development people out this simple connector bit soon, because I'm used to Capture One and could not go back to Lightroom if I have not...

    Hi Web_Zest,

It is a known problem:Lightroom and El Capitan | Mac OS 10.11

But this is not end of Lightroom it's Nikon SDK which was broken when upgrading the operating system to El Capitan.

It is being developed on the priority that there are many other users as well.

    Kind regards
