My stoped working mail icon in explorer 8
Equipped with Vista. My mail icon has stopped working yesterday in explorer 8. When I click on the mail icon I just get the momentary icon click acknowedgement nothing happens... no research, no message... nothing. When I right click on the mail icon there the same drop down like the home page icon. Don't know if this should be like this.
I put windows mail on my desktop after that but it's embarrassing but it opens the mail.
Any ideas on how to get the icon work or why he stopped?
Thank you

What happens if you have deleted the "mail" on the desktop icon, then recreated a new shortcut to mail on the desktop via the start menu. This new shortcut would work?

My mail icon does not open to see the mail; I see that I have eleven messages waiting. The software is up-to-date by using the Version Os X El Capitan 10.11.2
I guess that the icon that you're talking about is the one in the Dock on your desk. This icon is simply a pointer to the application itself. Right-click (Ctrl-click) on that icon and under Options, select Show in Finder. This should open a window in the Finder with the selected Mail app. Double-click the Mail application and see if it starts very well. The icon in the Dock may have become disconnected from the application. If it does not try then open the Applications folder and double clicking on the Mail app from there. Report with your results.

air mail iPad watch 1 but e-mail icon has been deleted
Air iPad
the mail icon shows 1 unread, but all mail has been deleted. I found an old post with the same problem since 2008
but I do not see 'preferences' in lists so I can't follow their suggestions. Also, they say something about a "repair".
in general mail box and I don't see a repair or the other option.
I think that the discussion who speak was on Apple Mail on a Mac computer, so that has no relevance on an iOS device.
Try the basic troubleshooting steps. Close and restart your device.
Press the Home button twice quickly. You will see small glimpses of your applications recently used. Drag to the left to find the application you want to close. Swipe up on the preview of the application to close. Then restart your device.
If this does not work, delete the email account and add it back again.

Mail icon is missing from Control Panel, what is the file name?
I have Windows Vista SP1 (x 64) and for some reason any mail icon does not appear in my control panel.
I need to create an e-mail account to connect to the Exchange Server work and Outlook requires that I have do this applet of the Control Panel Mail so that Outlook is not running.
Error message Outlook says it cannot be done in Outlook e-mail account settings when I try to Outlook.
To be clear, this is not for Windows Mail.
Any ideas?
Thank you
-MikeP.S. of course all my other computers have the mail icon in the Control Panel, but not my only main :)!
Thank you guys, I got things market! :)
Solution:
1. I did open default programs and set Outlook as the default e-mail program. I don't know who really helped.2. I found the icon/utility view 32-bit Control Panel items in Control Panel and then clicking on which revealed (and I say revealed!) the Mail icon.
A few Notes:
1. I could not open the mail utility using the control mlcfg32.cpl or control method of mlcfg64.cpl. Or the box or the command window run.
2. in the Panel of the menu display was never showing the "Veiw 32 Bit Control Panel Items", that it was just an icon buried in the list of control panel applets.
3. this bit 32 items in Control Panel just seems to be a small bucket of 4 Advanced Control Panel applets, they made it difficult to discover.
4. Outlook prefers that you perform Exchange from your default account. It wasn't the case for me, but I can easily choose the account from which to send an email when I create a new e-mail message. I tested which and it worked.Everything is good the good ends, I guess, I'm running now.

Audio has stoped working
Hello
Try the following.
Download the installer of IDT Audio relevant links below and save it in your downloads folder.
IDT Audio Installer - Windows 7.
IDT Audio Installer - Windows 8.
One time finished, open windows control panel, open Device Manager and open sound, video and game controllers. Right click on the IDT device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.
When you're done, shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery. Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds. Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.
Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu. Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER. Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.
Allow Windows to fully - charge it will automatically load an audio driver, but let just this complete. Then open your download folder, right-click on the IDT Installer and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation. Once this done, do a right-click the speaker icon in the taskbar and select playback devices. 'Speakers and headphones' left click once to highlight, and then click the Set Default button - check if you now audio.

BlackBerry Smartphones Multiple e-mail icons
When synchronizing this morning, I got the message that he did not have an update. I downloaded it and it wiped out my custom home screen I've had for almost a year. Hours later, I recovered and reinstalled a large part of it, but may not know how to recover my multiple e-mail icons. I had one main Inbox, but I also got icons email separate to the work email, hotmail and yahoo email. How do I return separate icons, so I can tell at a glance what I give priority?
It's probably something as simple as forwarding of your service books.
Have you entered in the configuration of your e-mail and verified that all e-mail accounts are there?
This article describes how to send service books to your device: http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB15402
