Hi ok! got that, now I get another error,

Cannot access c C:/coldfusion8runtime\lib\wsconfig.jar

Don't know what that means.  Should I start over?

I suspect that you have specified your dir CF somewhere like C:/coldfusion8 rather than C:\coldfusion8\.  Because the path, it should be looking is C:\coldfusion8\runtime\lib\wsconfig.jar.

You do not pass really the value of the form directly to the page on which it should appear.

You need to store the data somewhere on the server. Usually, this is accomplished with a database, but it could also be stored in the file system. The simplified process goes like this.

Data are entered into the form and the form is sent to the script on the server side

Script processes the data and stores it in the database

Other pages read the value from the database and display the data

  • Locking a Coldfusion instance administration page

I've been looking around and can't find the answer anywhere.  I have a web site running on an instance of coldfusion, which became a problem because you can join the admin (www.domain.com/cfide/administrator/index.cfm) page that is causing a security problem.

Of course, we changed the default passwords for all accounts by default but will hide this page from viewers outside.  Since it is the way in the administrator of this forum how to lock this down?

    You have two options

    1. use the security provided by your web server (Apache or IIS) to restrict access to the admin of the site.

2 remove the pages from the admin of your production web server.

    Hey Kanga85,

Have you tried to create an account without password and leaving just as option. That should clear the error. Follow the steps below to do so.
You can also start in SafeMode in XP Mode and create a new user account.
    1. connect to the account without password.
    2. go in user accounts.
    3. create a new account with a password adminastrative.
    4. exit and restart in normal mode.
    5. sign in using your new account name & password.

If it wasn't the answer you are looking for please just re - ask your question. I didn't know if the mistake is to your question or you want to bypass the login screen.

  • Application administration page is not accessible

I recently installed Oracle database Express edition 10g. This went well. I finished the tutorial creating an application using Oracle 10 g Express edition database without any difficulties. Then I started with the Application Builder User Guide. Page 1-7, it tells me to log in Oracle Application Express Administration Services in order to create a workspace. This however does not.
I can go to the home page of Oracle Database bij typing: http://127.0.0.1:8080 / apex in my browser.
However, if I type apex / http://127.0.0.1:8080 / apex_admin, by following the instructions in the guide, I get an error message: could not find Web page.

Please tell us what to do

Listen me... forgotten doc (you will use for APEX 3.x documentation, but if you can't see the field work space you use Apex 2.2) but in this case, you can go to sites of Directors here:

    http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f? p = 4550:10 and configured only

    Hello

I wanted to reuse my old WAG200G lately because my box had blown.

I did a full reset, as recommended on the Linksys site:

However, when I try to display the configuration of the modem, the page appears half like the screenshot:

The browser runs in a loop. If I click on other pages, it works but other pages are blocked:

    Tested on IE and Chrome.

I also used the original CD to initialize the modem, but there is an error.

If you have an idea, I'm interested.
    Thank you in advance.

Hello ygrakes. Are access you the user of the interface or cable on the WAG200G wireless? Have you tried to access (user interface) using another computer? If you do not have another computer, try to set this computer to static IP, powercycle the computer and try to access the interface again. Just to cover all bases, its best if you clear the cache of historical navigation of the browser as well. As a last resort, do a hard reset (1 full minute) and try again. If all else fails, one can assume that the firmware of the gateway that is perhaps already damaged.

  • To access the administration page remotely of two interconnected WRT610N?

I'm sure that I've done it before, but I can't remember how. Let's say I have TWO WRT610N which are interconnected...

    Router 1

    IP: 192.168.1.1

    Connected to the modem (Internet)

    Remote 8881 value port

    DHCP enabled

    Gateway mode

    Router 2

    IP: 192.168.1.2

1 LAN port connected to the LAN port of Router 1 2

    8882 value remote port

    DHCP disabled

    Gateway mode

Now, I want to be able to type the WAN IP address that connects to the Router 1 and be able to access the Router 1 or router 2 admin page.

Thus, for example, say that my WAN IP is 68.96.215.121

    Router 1

    68.96.215.121:8881

    Router 2

    68.96.215.121:8882

    How can I do this?

Strange. 8882 to 80 single port forwarding should work.

You cannot change the web interface on the side of LAN port. All you can do is disable/enable http and https, which means using the port 80 (http) or port 443 (https). You cannot change the ports.

Why do you need to access the webinterface of the second still? It is not really a lot, that you can change on this one because it is only an access point and the switch...

  • Administration page

Hello.  I need to create a Web site that will be as a portfolio site.  The Web site will have a view of the user, that allows to display all content such as images, videos, etc.  In the view of the user, a user can download their images that will be sent to the admin to be checked.  I now need a way for the admin to download these new images on the Web site for display.  The best option for this would be to create a hidden Admin Panel, and when the admin logs, they are able to download things.  Or maybe it would be better to create a kind of separate from the Web site that is somehow related to the location of the user.

Advisor on the best possible route would be appreciated.

    See you soon

    Nick

I entirely separate the feature functionality of user admin and password to access this section of the site.  He didn't need to be on a separate site, but should not be in the same file or folder.

Yes. But, before that, stop Coldfusion and remove all type JAR files mysql-connector - java-* currently in the directory cf_root/WEB-INF/lib directory. Otherwise you are going to install two drivers.

No. I think that should be: com.mysql.jdbc.Driver. Here are more tips on how to configure MySQL5.x. The same themes were held in this recent on CFMX and MySQL5 thread.

  • Administrative user page shows programs like "unknown application" in Vista

My administrative user page does not correctly load upward.  Only 10 processes are running, and in the file associations of programs together many extensions are listed as "unknown application".  Open none of the shortcuts on the desktop, I have only the "open with:" dialog box.  All other pages the user on the computer to work properly. They have all more than 60 processes running and no other problems.  It is only with a user page, and that is be the administrative page.  I tried startup repair, but nothing has changed.  Diagnosis showed no problems.  Restoration has not changed anything.  Any suggestions, anyone?

    Hi Marty Clune,.

    1. are you able to connect to other accounts without any problems?

    2. remember you to any recent software or changes to the material on the computer before this problem?

Given that you tried to repair startup and restore the system and always faced with problems, you can try creating a new account manager and check if the problem occurs or not.

Note: Do not give the username for the user account.

    Check out the link:

    Create a user account

If the problem does not occur, then check out the following link and follow the steps to repair the corrupted user profile:

  • How to configure Coldfusion on my site

Hey, I just installed coldfusion on my laptop and I want to use Coldfusion to run the files on my lapt for my site, so I can preview on the web browser. It's just if I can preview the changes Ive made to the file before uploading to the site live. Now the browser is the culprit to the Coldfusion administration page, rather than my site files. Need help set coldfusion to my site files. Thank you.

using DW? If you are, you want to create a new site in DW, and then make sure the cfm pages you want to view are in the root directory new sites. You can then edit and preview of DW.

If you don't have DW and don't want to do this way you must file the cfm pages in a folder named wwwroot located here:

    c:\coldfusionmx7\wwwroot (I think that's where it is)
or you could try dropping them in the cfdocs folder or in the folder CFIDE, not exacly sure. the best way is to create a site using the new wizard site DW.

I'm only a beginner myslef so hopefully all the info Ive you gave here, ok, it should point you in the right direction anyway. :-)

You will access a CF 8 CFIDE folder. You can copy a CF 7
Top CFIDE folder (make a backup first of course), and then delete all the
templates compiled since the cfclasses tree and try again.
