No audio device in Bootcamp (Windows 8.1)

Hello

I just added a portion of bootcamp for a second hard drive in my Early 2011 Macbook Pro (8,1). I have loaded Windows on previously without a problem much but this time I can't ens at the end and any audio device whatsoever.

I can boot into windows, and after that I ran the Bootcamp support/setup.exe program that all drivers were responsible for give me access WLAN, graphics support etc but not the audio. When I hover over the "speaker" icon, I get a notification that there is no audio devices found. Enter the Device Manager or watching the drivers currently loaded there is a yellow exclamation on the 'high definition Audio... '. "but an attempt to update this option says that the driver is up-to-date.

I did it with Bootcamp 5.1.5621 who says that Apple is best for my MBP.

Someone at - it other ideas.

Has been installed Windows using boot EFI?

  • Audio device problem on Windows 8 64 Y510

Hello dear readers. I have a lot of problems with my audio devices after the operating system upgrade to windows 8 on my lenovo y510. First of all default settings and drivers that I am working as any other failure, are evidence of each pair of speakers (this particular machine has 2 x 2 speakers and a subwoofer) as different devices on my audio settings. This of course means that I can only listen to one channel which is frankly frustrating...

I tried to update the realtek drivers, and after restarting, I as a single device. With the help of those who suggested on lead lenovo horrible failure page, so I don't even bother. I think that this may be connected to the lack of software Dolby Home Theater, but all attempts to install it gave rise to a message "pceee is not installed.

Did anyone of you had similar problems on this laptop in particular?

TL; DR I would spend devices 5 speakers 3 in peripheral location 5 1 speakers

    TIL: I'm a fool.

Well, turns out I found that my original drivers for Vista work like a charm.

  • "No audio device" after reinstalling Windows XP

I recently reinstalled Windows XP on my laptop Dell Inspiron 9400.  This laptop has Sound Blaster Audigy Advanced HD Audio integrated.  The sound worked fine before the reinstall.

Now I have no sound (other than the boring system beeps) and I get an error message that there is no audio device whenever I try to play an audio file.

I tried to reinstall the drivers from the CD of origin and on the dell download site.  For both, to Midway through the installation it stops and tells me that there is no audio device.

When I look in Device Manager there is no audio device listed and when I go to the components section of system of information there is no audio device.

Any ideas of what I can do to force the computer to recognize the processor integrated?

I ended up resolving this issue.  It is not enough to reinstall the Sound Blaster disc.  There was another driver who had to be downloaded from the Dell website before Sound Blaster could even see the audio device.

SIGMATEL - pilot - applies to the STAC 92XX C-Major HD Audio

The Dell Web site lists this driver option, but it obviously wasn't.  As soon as it was installed my audio device has been found, and I was able to install the Sound Blaster CD.

I hope this helps someone else.

  • There is no audio device installed in Windows 7

Recently, after that my father could not turn on the protector of windows he was afraid he had a virus on our computer. It turns out that it was simply because we are under windows 7. MSE runs under windows seven. It does not recognize the name of the driver removed from the computer and audio. After that I realized why the Defender turned we tried reinstalling the audio driver with mixed success. There is no sound on our computer and the program appears in the Manager for devices with a warning triangle. When I open the program the master volume down without any apparent way to raise it. By clicking on the button mute or dragging the roller on the meter is not do. The audio store is no help and the computer repeatedly says there is no audio devices installed by clicking on the when I try to adjust the system volume or manage audio devices via the control panel. We have a Dell E6540 and our CODEC IDT audio driver.

    Original title: Audio problems

I found a solution to the problem. The compiter was pluged into a hub. After performing a clean boot, I uninstalled all audio ports via the hub. After doing this, I was able to install the driver. Windows Defender has not executed because MSE is the security system by default on windows 7.

You can only download files, not material. Ways to download "word."
to copy a file (perhaps a program file, but not necessarily) a
Server somewhere on the internet to your own computer. Please you are not
mix this word by 'install', which means to load a program on your
HDD in a form from which it can be executed (or add a piece
    material).

Generally, you install a program from a CD, a floppy disk or
on the internet. Only in the latter case, the internet, is there any
Download in question, but then again, it's a two-step process: first
Download you from the internet, and then you install it.

So, do you want to install an audio device? Do you mean a sound card?
How old is your computer? Coming from a manufacturer or was it
custom? With few exceptions, almost all computers have either
his support on the motherboard or sound card installed. What
is the number of brand and model of your motherboard?

So he has probably not need to install a sound card. Everything you need
to do this is to plug in a pair of speakers.

  • Portege R700 - Win7 - cannot find the driver for USB Multimedia Audio Device

Are there any Windows 7 drivers for the "USB Multimedia Audio Device" found on a R700 with the Toshiba Hi Speed Port Replicator II (PA3916U-1PRP)?

In "Devices and printers", there is a device in the section called a + USB Multimedia Audio Device + Unspecified +. Windows 7 can not find the drivers for it. Audio seems to be working through the port replicator.

The only related issue I've seen is that sometimes, when I press the "eject" button, Windows complains that a device is in use and the ejection is defective. This is very similar to that reported as ' [Undock R700 question P3838 |]» http://forums.Toshiba.com/T5/General-troubleshooting/R700-undock-from-P3838-issue/TD-p/149453].

In my case Windows tell me an application to use it or the device in use. I strongly suspect the audio device.

I have not found a solution so eject manually despite the failure or sleep it and then eject manually. I didn't notice the two approaches being necessarily better.

    HI PeterH,

Just a simple question: do you use the preinstalled version of Windows 7 at Toshiba and you have most unknown devices in Device Manager or just this USB Multimedia Audio device?

  • A program to choose which audio device uses

I saw the same question asked and asked and on many different forums with many different responses, most of which don't really know what was the real problem.

Is there a way to get the Application use Audio Device 1 and get B asks to use Audio Device 2?

Before people will tell me how to tell what Audio device to use Windows Media Player or VLC, I KNOW!  It does not help a bit.

I want to be able to do if the two Application A AND B of the application don't have the ability to select which sound device they use.

I am running Win 7 64 bit. I have a 5.1 speakers connected to my onboard sound and I have my TV connected to the HDMI connector on my graphics card.

What I want to achieve is to have the sound of the game I play to get out of my speakers, and the sound for the film I'm streaming come on my TV.

I have not yet found an option in IE, Firefox, every night (64 bit Firefox) or Chrome that allows me to use what audio device they use. Not one that would be important they use other applications like Flash Player or Silverlight to stream the video, or which have an option to choose which audio device they use, although oddly enough I found an option to select what mic was used on a single program...

The programmers of these two Star Wars: The Old Republic and The Secret World, (the two games I play right now) have neglected to include the ability to choose which Audio device they use in the games options.

I came across a post suggesting IndieVolume, I thought "Great, the answer to my prayers!", I downloaded the trial version to see if it would work. Installed, open it, looked at GUI, set up... Nothing has changed, did not work.

There must be a way to do it built-in to Windows or that you would not get the option to select which audio device WMP can use.

I would have liked to be able to do this easily in Windows 7, because after all was not Windows 7 supposed to be all about doing things you want to do with your PC, so much easier to do? I wish more programmers to understand that it is really necessary for the choice of the audio playback device in their games.

Until these times there at - it anyone out there that can suggest a program or something that will help reach my goal? Or a way to do within Windows?

IE and Silverlight are the two Microsoft but they don't give you the option.

There must be programming in Windows to do can you supposed to have a reading of default communication as a standard device. Surely, that works on the same principle, with various programs that will be run, get recognized by windows as a program of communication and see their directed audio output in an appropriate manner.

Is there a way to access which programs windows recognizes as a communications program and adding to the list manually?

Force windows to think that request is a communication program and get the result of requests, the value 1 of Audio device which is defined as the "default communication device".

Leave the Application B crossing 2 Audio device which is defined as the "Default Device".

  • Spectrum of HP x 360: new spectrum x 360-"no audio devices available" after update of windows 10

Brand new, was working fine, all wonderful - up to what windows update yesterday, and now the mute button is always enabled in laptop mode or tablet, unless the HDMI is plugged in, and then the sound goes out via HDMI. Because there was a big update W10 from one day to the next, it's suspicious.

Try to change the taskbar icon reports: peripheral output Audio n is installed.

The button muting of the keyboard is light, and the sound of the taskbar icon is crossed out (= Mute).

I see a lot of similar complaints year last for HP laptops ("Mute Button stuck"); some seem to be hardware related, so I can't know if the Windows update broke it, or if it's just a coincidence.

  • No Audio output device is installed (Windows 10 64 bit, HP Pavilion 500 series)

    Model number: 500-007 a

    Operating system: 10 64-bit Windows

Description of the problem: no sound.

    Hello

I came from TenForums forum, hoping to find a solution to the problem of noise from my office.

Status of the solution of the problem is at: http://www.tenforums.com/drivers-hardware/45369-no-audio-output-device-installed.html

When I move my cursor on the audio icon on the corner at the bottom right of the screen, the message of the index says "no Audio output device is installed". By clicking on the audio icon so that windows are trying to solve the problem will not solve the problem.

In Device Manager, I have 2 "High definition audio controller" that display a yellow "!" mark on them. Both controllers are on the devices tab of system.

As you can see in the picture above, there is no tab "audio, video controller and game."

How can I get my sound back?

    Thank you.

    You are the very welcome.

What worries me is that your device manager does not have the IDT HD audio listed under sound video and game controllers Device Manager.

Normally, when you install W10, the IDT HD audio device is in the list, and it just doesn't work.

You can try reinstalling W10 and see what happens.

  • Why my audio devices do not go away after I reinstalled Windows 7?

I have a HP Pavilion M7690E Media Center PC. Purchased in December 2006. It has a NVIDIA GeForce 7500LE video card and a Sound Blaster Audigy XFi, map its 24-bit Xtreme Fidelity.

When the computer was purchased, it ran Windows XP. I later upgraded to Windows Vista and finally updated again to Windows 7.

Today, I decided to re - install Windows 7 so the hard disk should be erased, reformatted, and I could give it to a parent. I cared not if all the files have been deleted. After doing the custom reinstall everything worked well and I had a zillion updates. However, there was no noise from the stage monitors and when I checked in the Device Manager, there was 'No Audio Device Found ". I downloaded and installed the latest driver for my sound card that does not do anything to solve the problem and now, I'm stumped. Any suggestion would be appreciated. Yes, I know I should have backed up just in case, but I never pretended to be brilliant.

    Thanks for any help.

I stumbled upon the solution to my problem. I went to devices and printers and found a ball strange entry under devices. When I checked the properties of the device, I found that it is a multimedia audio device without any driver. I clicked on troubleshooting at the top of the screen and the computer lead me through the process of obtaining a driver for the sound card. Some times better to be lucky then good or smart! In any case, thanks for the advice.

  • Windows Server 2003 detects no audio device

When I start Windows Server 2003, I hear no sound start. I hear no sound XP, nor do I hear the sound of UK.

Then, I discovered that volume does not work as well. When I go to start > Control Panel > sounds and Audio devices, it says "no Audio device". There IS an audio device built into the logic board.

I went through every troubleshooting step and what I see is that I need to get drivers.
Unfortunately, Windows Server 2003 is an old operating system, and it is almost impossible to find the drivers. When I go to start > administrative tools > computer management > Device Manager, I see one category "Other devices" with a yellow question mark icon. I see 2 devices inside, "On the HD Audio Bus Audio device" and "Base system device". Both have a little yellow warning sign next to them. Double-click any of these two, and he said: 'the drivers for this device are not installed (Code 28)', and when I click on the button to install the driver, it gets stuck in the research or error "cannot install this hardware", said.
I don't have the disc or Windows recognize even anything on both devices. I also made sure that audio has been enabled in the Services, and that did not work. You have a driver or a fix? Answer as soon as possible!

Ask in the forum Windows Server:
