No audio for cam multi-nested sequence

Confused about how this should work cannot so someone please double check these steps?  I'm getting no audio to a sequence of nested active multi-came.

Sequence of source:

Video track 1-3

Audio track 1-3 (silence)

Track audio (active) ext 4

I had to synchronize all these manually in the source sequence. Once synchronized, I cut 1-3 audio track and the track audio left 4 active.

So, I wanted to create new multicam sequence:

1 has created a new sequence

2. drag the source in the new sequence sequence, thus it nesting

3. right click on the new sequence and enable the multi cam

4 no sound on the new track sequence

If I created a new multi cam sequence leaving the first (i.e. selecting clips, activate sequence cam multi and audio sync) and create a new sequence, I have no problem getting audio.

If you want not audio tracks 1-3, try remove these titles rather than their inhibition. I think that if the audio that is currently on the A4 is moved to A1, then you will hear once he nestled and enabled asa a multicam sequence.

  • Solution-alternatives-tips for multi-audio export in a nested sequence?

Like many, I mounted my final model as a nested sequence. Several, but not all the subsequences contain a mixture of stereo audio tracks and mono source (including: some isolated from the channels of dialogue, layers, sound effects, etc...). Unfortunately, as I just found on the hard, it seems that exporting OMF or AAF in a nested sequence transfers only the tracks visible IN the NESTED sequence ONLY and ignores all other audio tracks of original sequences (void). And I said that this is the norm for OMF/AAF.  Wow! It sucks!

I hope it's one of those annoying weird things where everyone but me knows the best way to get the audio tracks, went to their audio favorite finishing DAW. Mine is Logic Pro X.

    Appreciate it. Thank you!

What happens if you UN - nest it. Like taking this sequence in the project bin after selecting the button "display nests as the individual sequences and more words ' in the panel mounting - take this sequence nested of the location of the project and place it on the timeline where he opens the video layers.

Now, if this is not export as an OMF - perhaps because she always links to the nest - what to say to another sequence, copying stacked above video layers (layers video open upwards) and copy the audio layers.

Other then that, the command "flatten" allows in some circumstances - but even more with blocking sequences.

  • Export audio comes form a nested timeline

Is there a simpler way to do what I do?

Below is a description on how I made audio for season one of the pets in Paradise TV for international distribution according to my syndication partner.

Please let me know if there is an easier way to do this process.

I figured this out on my own little and made patterns in the model for it, but I wonder if there is a better way. Sorry about the long explanation, please let me know how I can explain more clearly if necessary.

    Here is what I do

21:30 show consists of 4 segments nested in a master chronology for export.

All segments 4 chronologies are audio multitrack with 12 tracks is a master track 4 channels.

Tracks 1 and 2 are for the narration, routed to channel master 1 & 2

3 12 thru tracks are dialogue, music and effects sound, routed to channel master 1,2,3,4

In this way the main timeline (chronology with the 4 segment in nested timelines) has 2 stereo channels, tracks 1 & 2 mixed, tracks 3 & 4 mixed less narration. This method works.

I hope there is an easier way of the below

Exporters stems form the main timeline.

Because the main timeline has 4 timelines embedded in it, I can export only the audio mixed master 4 tracks. I need to export one stereo stem for each audio clip (Narration, dialog, music, effects, mixed, mixed, without narration, narrative only) for the duration of 21:30. To do this, I make a duplicate control the timeline and name it Audio stems. Then I go in each segment of chronology and copy the audio channels. Then paste it into the chronology of Audio stem and make sure it's sync with the audio master of this segment.  I do this with all 4 segments until the 21:30 Audio stem chronology is complete and in harmony.

Then I export a track at a time. It gives me a 21:30 audio stem that synchronizes upward with the master export.

I wish I could just export the individual tracks of nested master chronology.

If someone knows a way easier please let me know, otherwise I'll continue with the process described above, it dose work.

Muffler or solo audio channels on the nested sequence, then export the master works, thank YOU

  • First film edited with Premiere - proxy, audio questions and multi-cames

I have several questions that I have not found in the videos and forums, at least not for my situation. I'm finishing the revision of sequences now adding comments in prelude and will begin soon to change it. Please excuse the long post.

    Background:

I'm working on my first film, a documentary. Most of my work is 10-11 interviews, about an hour each. The majority is 4K Panasonic GH4, but some of the images is an Olympus MDGS EM5 II 1080.

I recorded the sound using a LAV and a shotgun microphone, each goes in its own channel in a Tascam DR - 70 d, an external audio recorder, with a line going into the camera for reference. Audio and video files (at least one, since GH4 brings several) will have a slate tone to the head, created by the audio recorder. The recorder has captured the audio 24-bit, 16-bit audio captured camera. The recorder fooled also two other channels to lower 12db audio in the case of audio peaks.

I will be changing on Mac laptop - 2013 MacBook Pro, OS 10.11.5, 2.9 Ghz Intel Core i7 memory of 16GB 1600 MHz DDR3, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650 M 1024 MB graphics card. I think I need to create my images 4 K proxies.

All images is storage on my external drive of G. The interviews are separated and are located in the folders of each interviewee.

The final project will be 1080, not 4K.

    Questions:

Naming - being a hybrid, the GH4 breaks an interview of an hour in several separate files. Should I change the names of all files, or keep them in folders named in Premiere Pro? If I should change them, should I do it before swallowing?

First synchronize audio and video, but since I have an audio file and several video files, I synchronize each video file individually or assemble them somehow, then synchronize? If each of these excerpts from the interview is sewn together, wouldn't that make editing more easy?

When you create proxy for video files, also create proxy for audio files separate? Once synchronized, will be presented first the Hi output version of the resolution of the video and audio?

Multicamera - in one case, I have an interview with two 1080 cameras. But for the rest, I've shot with a camera in 4K, so I intend to use a section cropped interview (zoom) when an important statement is mentioned, simulating a two cameras set up. Given that I have to create a sequence of multi camera after I ingest proxy files, first will be a problem activating/deactivating files proxy for the salvation of the res files?

B - roll is added later, once the interviews are published about. It will be a few (not 4K) images and photos. Make the proxies of these too or first care to have all files proxy or a mixture?

Finally, I have never edited a video which has been more than 10 minutes. This film could be of 40 minutes or up to 90. Everything I need to know to make the editing more smooth? I am a beginner!

Thank you for bearing with me and thank you in advance for any idea!

    1. allow only file names.  Make your organization with records (hard drive) and ferries (project).

    2. Manual of multi-camera method

    3. the audio files are small and will not need of proxies.  Export will always use the original media.

    4. possibly.  My first attempt was a disaster that froze the machine so badly, I had to do a hard reset.  However, you need not go back to the original of the sequence to make your cut-ins.  Proxy media will do fine work.  Simply place a copy of the plans at the 50% level in V1 and a second copy on the scale of 100% in V2 when creating the source multicam sequence...  Will allow you to see the full versions and then cropped the multicam editing.

    5. the photos no need of proxies.  If the B-roll change, make proxies for those.  PP not care a spirit to keep all the images the same.

  • Nested sequence: after a break, audio repeats of previous clip

Summary: In a situation of the nested sequence, I get short audio repetition of an element of clip just before a haircut.

    Context:

    • First Pro CC, the most recent version at the time of writing (7.0.1 (105), Windows 7 (64-bit).)
    • Structure: I have a sync sequence (sequence source multicam) consisting of XDCAM-EX (largely inspired by the AVCHD file structure) and Z1 (plain m2t files).  Derivative of / depends on who's a multicam editing sequence, where I cut between camera angles.  While the sequence is itself nested in a master sequence (showing selected excerpts from the performance).
    • Reference: Multicam editing sequence includes (among others) of a rock band "big finish" followed by some applause.  I had a Cup in the audio (only) of the element in the sequence of nested, to activate the audio for the applause to be normalized regardless of the performance of the band.  To smooth the join, I added a melted transition chained on the Cup.  Nicer in principle that the use of volume envelopes.
    • When I play the original recording or the multicam sync-sequence or sequence multicam editing, everything looks and seems fine.

    Problem:

    • During the main sequence is read (in preview or clip exported/coded) I hear the great finish, then the applause starts, then after 2 seconds "big finish" is heard once more, but the lowest audio.
    • This effect occurs whenever I used the same technique of cutting/standardize/fade chained in the editing multicam (nested) sequence.  I also met there in previous projects in first CS6.
    • If I delete the crossfade the problem goes away...  Any type of crossfade audio is used.

Is this a known issue? and there at - it a quick fix? (other than the envelopes to the place or copy/patching the audio up to master level)

I do this kind of thing myself and have not run into this problem.  Try to make the audio in the sequence of Cup and master.

  • No Audio signal in order to master with nested sequences

I tried finding a solution but can not find anything the same as this.

I have several sequences with multi track edits in them (not multi camera but on different audio and video tracks)

I dropped these sequences in a sequence master, they line up perfectly, but when I play them, the video is fine, but there is no audio data.  the individual sequences have audio without any problem.

I did not no audio editing in sequence, just assembled visual editing with audio tracks orignial attached.

I klnow I must be missing a step or do something wrong, but he can not know!

    Thank you

    A

I did not understand if a) chronology is show that the track audio (s), but no audio playback or b) none of the audio tracks are still added to the timeline.

If it is b, then the first thing to check is if the Source patch is enabled at least one audio track. In the scenario below, with A1 not selected, insertion/replacement will add video to the timeline.

I'm trying to export multi-channel audio as apple pro res 422 HQ, but the tracks are all coming full joint rather than separately. I've implemented the multi Channel sequence already. What I am doing wrong?

All 4 titles are coming as complete blends not divisions. I guess that's a problem with the entrenchment of the channels, but can't see how to fix. Andy

Is what would you say to my quick thought without following through all the processes after the fact, the sequence settings? My thought is that the sequence settings must be multichannel as you show, but each Adaptive track, so this channel map is routed at your leisure. If this is not the case, already, it would create a new sequence with these settings.

    screen.jpg

In the image above, my video V1 nested, multicam-activated the track is three videos.

On the left side of the program monitor, you can see a picture of MC1 (by behind and above the shoulder).  You can see a yellow box drawn around what should be the image of MC2, but he is black.  However, you can see that the image of MC2 on the right, in multiple camera monitor Preview.  The same thing happens when I press '3' to switch to the camera 3. a yellow square is drawn around the black box where the image of the camera 3 should be, and the appropriate image appears on the right, in multiple camera Preview Monitor.  But no matter what I do, the small rectangles on the left are always black and MC2 MC3.

When I right click on the video track and select multi-cam, activate menu item has a check mark next to it, the Flatten element does not work and camera 1, camera 2 and 3 camera are available.

    Why can't I see the video of MC2, MC3?

MC2, MC3 were blackened in the Multicam monitor window as these tracks were disabled in the nested sequence.  I had clicked on the eyeball "To toggle track output" for the two missing pieces while modifying the nested sequence.  Once I clicked on the eyeballs again to reactivate the video, MC2, MC3 appeared as scheduled in the Multicam monitor window.

  • Audio kills razor after Mid-sequence cut tool.

    Hello

I use the first Pro CC 9.2 to modify a nested sequence of 2 x video and 2 x Audio tracks. I have already edited two hours or equipment in any 30 minutes and all of a sudden my next haircut with the razor tool removes completely the audio during the rest of the nested sequence. I can double click on the nested sequence and see the original 2 x audio video and 2 x titles all works well (before and after cutting with the razor tool). I can even copy and paste these audio tracks (post-a cut) No nested in the nested sequence and listen to them fine?! Someone can explain why or how is what is happening. I already got half a dozen videos the same method without any problem.  Thanks for your time and any help you can offer.

    TL; Dr

Razor tool inexplicably kills all the audio of a nested sequence of mounting medium.

Found a work around. Select the rest of the track of nested problem (which had no sound after the edict) and a clutch of replacement. It has transformed into a new sequence (but always in sync). I even did some retouching tool razor to see if the problem occurs again, but well.

  • Cut the nested sequence stops playing in first

Since the installation of the latest version of Adobe first Pro CC (2015.0.2 (version 9.0.2 (6))), it presents a coherent reading problem. After about 1 minute of editing with a nested sequence, first does not allow me to read anything of a sequence or in the source monitor (I also tired to open many projects without success).

The only partial solution is to restart first change a sequence returned instead of a nested sequence.

Is a similar problem that arises when the preferences are set to the incorrect sound card, but change the audio settings does not fix it this time, even in trying two different audio devices. I also checked permissions have been set to read and write and I tried to roll back first to an earlier version, but the problem persists. I drove back to CC 9.0.0 build still having the problem.

It is a topical issue because it is a workstation company, and projects have deadlines.

    All reviews are much appreciated,

    Justin

Well, I finally found a work around. The sequence, I've been nesting must have been corrupted somehow and that froze until the creation whenever I tried to draw in another sequence by nesting.

    THE FIX:

-Copy all the contents of the original sequence into a new sequence (the sequence of as corrupt origin label)

-The new sequence in another sequence with desired parameters of the nests.

It's the fine cut for now.
