  Hi Experts ADF,

  JDev version 11.1.1.7.0

  I use a POJO based datacontrol, who is dragged like a table on page JSFF. One of the field is a java.sql.Date data type in POJO.

  So for example in the table 4 values are there to this date field as

  2.2.2014

  3.2.2014

  31.1.2014

  to 31.12.2013

  So while sorting in ascending order, it should come as below

  to 31.12.2013

  31.1.2014

  2.2.2014

  3.2.2014

  And vice-versa.

  But if I click on sort it sorts by the first 2 digits only, and I'm under results for sorting (ascending)

  2.2.2014

  3.2.2014

  31.1.2014

  to 31.12.2013

  Please suggest on this. Thanks in advance.

  Hi This sorting has been solved by changing of java.util.Date.

  Yes his watch to the client as an outputText inside the table. Sorting option is there for af:column.

  Remove the two variables above and use "SortSpec". For example

  myRequestDataBinder.putLocal ("SortSpec", "ORDER BY dDocType asc, desc dDocName");

  In fact, there is a variable passed to the action named FIELDNAMES page. Here is a list of all fields of form which have been adopted. And it's already done by Crescent.

• How can I stop Auto sorting / refresh in windows folders?

  OK, I hope it's an easy fix, but I can't find it anywhere.  I spend a lot of moving files, renaming files, compression and decompression etc...

  Every time I have rename or create a new zip or unzip into a folder, it makes an automatic update and automatically move all my files.  It drives me crazy.

  This stupid option makes it twice as hard rename files, because the second I have change the name it is changed even if I misspelled the name, leaving me to search for all over again.

  How do to just empty at the end of the list like Windows XP so I manually select Refresh (or close the folder)?

• PDF form with several auto pages copy text in fields on the following pages

  I created a PDF form with multiple pages. I started with an Illustrator file, then exported to Acrobat to make it complete. For some reason any, however, when users enter text on the first page and try to continue on the other, the text on the first page only auto copies on the following pages. And if you delete what was on the second page (or third) to enter the correct data, which provides information on the first page.

  I guess it must be something that twisted when I was creating the form, so I don't know if there is a way to fix without all over again.

  Give a unique name to each field. The fields with the same name are copies of each other and will automatically have the same value.

  Yes, change the a record for your domain in the DNS settings for your domain host. Check if you have saved your settings it correctly. I've seen some webinterfaces who make you believe that you have changed the settings, but they are not stored until you hit a real button 'apply these settings' or something like that. Update the DNS may take some time, you will no doubt informed about this in the settings app, however it is usually fast enough.

  If it still does not troubleshoot your settings when trying to load the IP address that you entered in the record has in your browser with http:// in front of him. Example: http://72.14.192.0/.   I made PDF form that contains Radiobutton, TextBox, Button, CheckBox and barcodes in Adobe Acrobat Pro and everything works well.

  But according to the new requirement I need to "Autogenerate" some fields such as Radiobutton, text field and CheckBox by clicking on the button "add a field"and clicking on the button of the control should get auto generate this PDF form.

  Additional text that is already added to the PDF form get flow down when the fields if auto generate at the top of the form.

  You can add fields with a script (or show/hide existing fields), but you can not re-flow static PDF file text, unless it was created in LiveCycle Designer.

  In your last code done selectAddress refers to "index" but I'm not declared or assigned. I think that you are missing 'var index = list.selectedIndex;' statement.

• Auto text resize in fixed field

  I scoured these forums for awhile, but I can't find the answer to my question, I hope someone can help me!

  In LiveCycle Designer, I am preparing a static form. I opened a PDF that works as a background image, and now I want to add text fields. So far so good .

  Now, when I save the file, it allows people to change. Great! However... In some cases, the text typed into the form is larger than the field assigned to it. I know there is a setting that allows you to resize it according to what the user has typed text. (so, it is still within the limit of the text box area). I am working in LiveCycle Designer, obviously on PC. I already checked the options in the object field (understand that the 'limit lengt to the setting of the visible area would do the trick), but I can't find the solution here.

  If someone has indications for me where and how I can do this, I would be very grateful!

  On the palette of fonts tab, select "change the value properties...". "and no editing together and then enter 0 in the size of the font. This will indicate the area of the auto-size of the font for a field in the field box.

• How to stop the Auto-ajustements being applied when tethered shooting?

  When I shoot 'captive', lightroom automatically the settings to my images. For example, if my exposure is underexposed, lightroom automatically increase the exposure and other settings... totally irritating. How to disable this option?

  You have all the settings for the presets to apply applied to images to import in the preferences panel?

  Also... If you don't want everything develop adjustments applied to the import of strap, make sure you have 'None' selected in the home under settings to develop control bar... (framed in red)

  

• Auto character style applies in new tables and imported text

  Hi, I saw a post related to this problem, but it does not solve mine (check the default object style).

  So my problem is that when I import a Word document or I create a new table in InDesign, it is always a character that automatic style applies to my text and I don't really know why, I don't know what kind of option/preference to watch, I was looking in the paragraph/object/table styles, nothing seems to show me the character style that applies by default everywhere.

  Someone has an idea? I'm sure it's an easy problem to solve.

  Make sure that the standard paragraph is selected before importing the text. Or at least the Style of the paragraph that you want to the text.

• Have fields auto tab to the next field, when the limited characters have been achieved

  I have text fields for our account numbers and it of a pain to enter one number and then tab and enter another number and tab.  I have set the limit of 1 character and would like the AutoShape tab to the field following account and continue with all account numbers.

  Check the update the attached form for script automatic tab on each level of text field on the event of CHANGE and method in the variables.
  Make sure all the text fields in the order in the hierarchy as place on page (right now some are not in order).
