  Hello andyusfr, yes you can use an image or a photo as avatar, but don't forget "avatars" have low resolution, so it's a little hard to see all details.

  You can search in the search engines also for avatars.

  If you don't like an avatar, you can change to another, or to default (remove a link if poster on the page edit beside the new avatar profile.) If you click on it, which will restore the default avatar)

  I collected some of the avatar next to various images and found that they were all 68 x 68, so my first attempt was a png 68 x 68. But that seems smaller than the other. So I tried 256 x 256, and coming out of the same size as the others. But what we should use? Page load gives only the size max 2 MB. My 256 image is only 13.8 KB, so should I go for the max which is part of 2 MB? This seems unnecessary, since it will never be seen with this resolution. It would be useful if the loading page gave a size recommended, rather than simply 'go there '.

  Where did you read this information? Normally, you can play all DVD or Blu - Ray without having to install a patch.

  But don't forget that not all A500 have Blu - Ray player. Do you have a?

• Satellite P750-02R - will not play Avatar Blu - ray movie

  The drive reads the disc but it will not play the movie, which will play on a PS3. The film is Avatar and a disc is legitimate. My thought was that it would be that the film is Full HD, but may display show only 720 p or 1080i.

  You try to play the movie on the screen inside or outside?

  The internal monitor of the P750 Satellite supports only HD (720 p) resolution. If you want full HD (1080 p), then watch the movie on a monitor external e. g. TV.

  P.S. If you ask 'why' I would like to do. Two reasons:

  1. freedom of choice and customization.

  2. I have a 12 "laptop to travel and it is * edition * annoying to scroll through the icons I don't need to see to know who is who in my contacts list.

  You sure have a loaded avatar? I can see from your profile that you have a picture, but the two are different.

  Go to your profile (your orders > profile - use the drop-down list above or click on your name in a post), and then click on "photo change & avatar ' in the right hand navigation. The avatar - that shows in your posts - is on the right.
