no channels for audio or video in the timeline

I use a mac and on my calendar, there is no channels for audio or video, for example, V1, V2 etc, and I can't drag videos or images on the timeline. How to rectify this please?

I suspect that you might not have created a sequence, or it loaded in your editing panel.

Do you have?

    What are the audio and video formats are supported in Windows RT?

    Hello Keith,

    You can find a list of formats of audio and video files, the stream formats and codecs or the components supported in the Windows Store and RT Windows applications in this published Building Windows 8 Blog on MSDN.  The formats are summarized in a table in the middle of the article.  Please note that the table called some codecs that are supported in Windows Media Center 8 Pack or Windows 8 Pro Pack, but are NOT supported in Windows RT.

  • As you drag the video in the Timeline, only audio files will show, not video.  Why

    Hello world!

    So I had to update to PPCC 2015 after 2014 CEP kept crashing on me while I just changed.  After having reopened the project and the program telling me to convert everything on the new 2015 PPCC, I didn't think it was a big deal.

    Well now, the old version of my project can still play all the videos, and the editing I've done, but when I try to drag in a new video to continue editing, only audio files will come in the timeline. The video will play in the window of the fine source drive, but try to get the actual image of the video in the timeline, will not be displayed.

    It makes me crazy!

    What should I do?

    It was activated at the same time. I closed my projects and rebooted my computer to see if that would do anything and now it works as usual. Thanks for your help anyway!

    There are card issue first elements 10 NVIDIA GeForce well-known and specific that has existed for a long time without intervention by Adobe or NVIDIA. The response was to roll back only the NVIDIA GeForce video card/card graph version of the driver at all about may 2013. And, at that time, the old NVIDIA drivers are not old enough for the majority of existing computer operating systems.

    Details of the number 10/NVIDIA first Elements in perspective can be found in the following

    First Elements ATR troubleshooting: PE10: NVIDIA video card Driver Roll Back

    The thread cited in a previous thread here is just my attempt to document cases that they rolled.

    Your choices seem to include

    a. determine if you have a may 2013 version of the NVIDIA GeForce driver on your computer that you can put into action

    b. replace the card from the computer of video/graphics card NVIDIA GeForce with a non NVIDIA GeForce card

    c. move to another version of Premiere Elements since this particular problem has always presented as specific to version 10.

    Please review and consider.

  • Audio can be separated into two tracks of channel once it is already on the timeline?

    I've recently updated my old first 6.5 to the CS6. I have 4 hours of footage that shows my only audio in the Audio track #1. I do not see each channel separately. I need to change the audio channels separately.

    I just found out that I should have changed an audio setting for each prior clip to add it to the timeline in order to have audio channels display separately.

    Audio can be separated into two tracks of channel once it is already on the timeline? I hope of course. It could be done in the first former before Pro.

    Help, please. I look forward to a response. I'm on a tight schedule.

    I thank in advance anyone who can answer.

  • Audio and video on the same page.

    Is it OK to have a separate audio and video file on the same page?  Both are on AutoPlay without control, but when I try this audio setup crack to override the video, stopping the video a few seconds later.

    I guess I could try and integrate audio into video but if I had not I was not.

    Any suggestion or help is appreciated.

    Thank you

    Ryan.

    You can't play both audio and video at the same time, you will need to merge them.

  • First "I can't the video to the timeline" PROBLEM

    Hi everyone, I can't get the video to the timeline, when I try to put it in the timeline panel, I'll see blocked symbol and only I can put sound video, I can't put my video. Help, please.

    It is almost always not having your source/track of timeline targeting "lit.

    Those blue boxes to the left of the railway... If it's not blue, but the background color of charcoal, you will not be able to place material on the sequence. If say the target audio source A1 is disabled, well... you can drop the video but the audio is not allowed.

  • Failed to insert video in the timeline? Perplexed...

    Hi all

    as a quick check has not revealed a similar problem, I am autonomous detachment. Sorry if this has already come up before. in any case...

    I use the last first Pro CC on a mac and I have a recurring issue where I am unable to introduce some video files in the timeline. As I remember, it has nothing to do with a specific format (I may be wrong, however), but here's what's happening. In general, I import a new batch of video files into a project and then, when I try to drag in the timeline, it simply doesn't let me. Tried dragging from the preview screen, using the video icon under him, all I could think off. Even more, I can't click with the right button on the video and turn into a new sequence. Previously when this happened, I usually solve it by dragging in one of the other sequences, until one of them accepts it (based on no criteria seems to me). From there, I can copy/paste in the designated order. Hilarious things. Anyway, this time, none of the existing scripts accepts these files and I am out of options (not to mention the time).

    FYI - the bar more left of video in the timeline (V1 - Vx) is checked, it is not the standard pickle. Also, I can right click and edit and do what I want with all the other files, it's just the specific files I can import at one time. This never happened before the last update, at least not for me. The file in question sinned this time are Quicktime ProRes video files, no sound, but I'm sure that it happened with a couple of other types of codec, however for most of the QT containers, I guess.

    Thanks for your time, I hope someone can help with this.

    Quick follow-up. Just, I solved the problem by clearing the sequence in and out points. Let me repeat that - compensation the previously settled points within a sequence that doesn't have nothing to do with the video in question allowed me to right click on the files in the project tab Oh, also, before I 'solved' and output whenever I saw these video files in the window preview and right-click on them happened Premiere Pro would crash. And now, after erasing the In/Out in random order, which, as far as I know, has nothing to do with me the preview of a file in the preview window, it doesn't crash anymore. Everything works perfectly. Don't not to mention that, when I cancel the In/Out clearance, he'll be right back to break and ignoring the video files. I mean, my boy, that it is simply priceless. ++++

    Would much like to know what causes a particular problem, so I would be grateful for any comments on this subject.

  • Double click on video on the timeline to reveal the source of the correct timecode window in

    In FCP when you double-click on a video on the timeline, it will load in the window source to the timecode you were displaying. First, sometimes it will load the last position you have the playhead on the source, which is not the exact time, I have the playhead on the timeline. Is it possible to have it so that whatever you do, whenever you double-click on the video on the timeline, it opens in the source timecode even window?

  • With the help of an audio clip to control the timeline

    I have a composition that has two pieces of VO. Each has an associated text block.

    I want to play the first VO when it is clicked on the first text. Then, when the VO ends, I want to fade the first block of text to falter, the second and play the second VO when we.

    I have the updated scenario in place with labels to play through transitions at the end of the first VO. No problem there.

    I have the audio that plays when I click on the blocks of text. Everything is good.

    However, I don't know how to make the calendar before the audio clip at the end play.

    This is the code for the first block of text:

    SYM.$("RUP01_Nar_1") [0]. Play();

    SYM. Play ('Nar2');

    It plays audio but also plays the timeline instantly (so from one to the other, the blocks of text fade as soon as starts the audio).

    I tell myself that I need some kinds of code between who said, essentially, ' wait than the audio finishes then [cheek chronology]. " But like many I tried I can't find anything to do.

    Thanks for your help...

    Thanks for that,

    I gave it a try, but unfortunately it did not work. The audio could not play altogether.

    However, I managed to solve the problem by using the setTimeout function and enter the audio duration as the time-out;

    SYM.$("RUP01_Nar_1") [0]. Play();

    {setTimeout (function ()}

    SYM. (Play ('Nar2')}, 10000);

    This does not mean having to customize the time-out for each clip, but it will serve well for the moment.

  • How to restore the original interface of first Pro CC and drag the video to the timeline?

    I downloaded the trial version doesn't have the video and audio tracks on the mounting Panel. I tried to play to find, but it's what happened instead.

    Print screen.png

    Can I know how to restore the original interface?

    Also, how do I drag videos to the timeline when it doesn't have any audio or video track line that I can work with, unlike the CS6 version I was using?

    Thank you.

    Hi Erica,

    To restore:

    In the menu items, choose window > workspace > reset Workspace

    To add the video to the timeline:

    • Select file > new > sequence and create a sequence. Drag the video to the new sequence.

    or

    • In the project Panel, drag your video to the new article . This will create a sequence that best matches your clips properties.
