No choice of OS Blackberry tablet in the settings Mobile burrito tab

Hi all

I try to install the sdk blackberry on burrito, but it does not work I can only choice Google android mobile development target.

Here is a picture

Follow these steps:

1. Uninstall FlashBuilder

2 uninstall AIR SDK, no matter what previously installed blackberry sdk

3. install FlashBuilder as an administrator. This should be done by the installer right click and choose 'run as administrator '.

4. during installation make sure you select 'International English' as the language. It's important... any other language will not work.

5. install Adobe AIR SDK as an administrator. Again, this should be done by a right click on the installer and choose "Run as Administrator"

6. install the Tablet SDK admin s. Again, this should be done by a right click on the installer and choose "Run as Administrator"

This should solve your problem.

  • Cannot add a bug in the incident handler in the BlackBerry Tablet OS project

    Hello

I get an exception when you create a project in Flash Builder 4 (flex2/tools/oem/OEMException$ CircularLibraryDependencyException).

I wanted to add it to the Manager of incidents under the BlackBerry Tablet OS Project (closest to you in the development of the AIR) but I couldn't because a 'Version' is necessary and the only one available in the list is 'unknown '. This field is required, so I can't add the bug

  • Flash Builder 4 doesn't have the 'BlackBerry Tablet AIR Application".

I'm trying to get the HelloWorld application to work, but I can't find the "BlackBerry Tablet AIR Application" option. It should appear in the debug configuration, but it's not.

I already have the Simulator works and correctly installed the Playbook SDK (link to version 2.5 SDK and Flash Builder). I have no error in compilation (QNX namespaces are used), I think that the installation has been correctly executed.

    Any ideas?

You need to update to 4.0.1 FB. See release notes.

I'm trying to set up a new ActionScript Mobile AIR project in Flash Builder 4.5.0 Burrito but the 'BlackBerry Tablet' option does not exist in the page settings of the Mobile.

Does anyone know why it isn't there not?

    Kind regards

I know it's tiring, but some people, when he is able to just reinstall. Therefore, completely remove the burrito + sdk and put it back.

  • Editor in the file blackberry - tablet.xml AND size of the icons

    The fact of the Editor:

    This line

    A name goes here

Must be the same name as the company that has been registered under the account of the seller of blackberry appworld? Or if not a business then the same name as the person who has been registered under the account of the seller of blackberry appworld?

Also, this is a completely different issue, but the size of the icon of the application should be 86 x 86 as a PNG, right?

The tag in the file blackberry - tablet.xml is the same name you registered with your keys and are identical to the CN value during the signing process.

    86 x 86 PNG is fine.

  • BlackBerry Tablet OS Deployment Setup Wizard

I'm trying to complete the above process, use the latest version of the OS and my Tablet connected using a Wi - Fi connection and recently downloaded files RDK CSJ and COMINCO CSJ. The Wi - Fi connection is recognized, the Tablet is in development Mode and the path to the CSJ files is recognized. I use the LSB PIN and the CSK password provided by RIM earlier for the development in the simulator of the tablet. I get the following signature registration error and Configuration processes - "record key to long-term error." I searched for information on this error without success. You can provide any help would be highly appreciated.

    Terry

Can you please try saving your CFS files using the signing page of preference (window-> Preferences-> BlackBerry Tablet OS-> signature). There is a bug in the deployment configuration wizard which does not show the entire message of the signature server. Save the preferences page will give you the full error message.

  • BlackBerry - tablet.xml structure

Is the structure for blackberry - tablet.xml documented somewhere? I thought that's where I should look in if I want to change the default value to the loading screen. Hope someone can shed some light on this.

    Hey ryan,

You cannot change the appearance of page in any case load yet. his will appear for each load. How ever what you are referring to is the blackberry - tablet.xml and there you can change which category your application icon appears in. here is the link to the page of information about the XML document:

    http://docs.BlackBerry.com/en/developers/deliverables/21877/Add_icon_to_configuration_file_1374808_1...

This is the structure of the document blackberry - tablet.xml:

        none
        true

      Sample Inc.
      core.internet

        your_image.png

    Good luck!

Not sure exactly what you're asking. You ask if there is an eclipse environment to develop for the PlayBook. If so, do you have FlashBuilder (Adobe) or FDT based on eclipse.

  • BlackBerry tablet OS native sdk, should I use it?

    Hello

I am an experienced C/C++ developer, but have no experience with BlackBerry.

I wonder do the research as evidence of the application of the concept on BlackBerry.

    (1) is the native SDK for platform able to target BlackBerry non-tablettes BlackBerry Tablet OS?

    (2) where to find some QAnywhere to the APDU commands Exchange with the jury on SIM card?

    Thank you

WebWorks is the only supported way to target all phones.

Another option would be to support a Java application with a base of code designed to target older phones of the BB as the Android player, BB10 taking place.

  • < category > does not work in blackberry - tablet.xml

In the playbook Simulator, my application is displayed in the category 'all' applications, even if I am in blackberry - tablet.xml, it's category has utility value.  Adding an icon and all other parameters in xml file work again.  Here's what's in my file to blackberry - tablet.xml:

        none
        false

      Sample Inc.
      core.utilities

        quadraticIcon.png

    What I am doing wrong?

Maybe it doesn't work because there is no "core.utilities".  Try "core.utils", as stated in a message by taylortbb

  • error 'BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 for Adobe AIR does not support mobile projects."

    Hello

I installed Adobe Flash Builder Burrito and Blackberry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 on Windows 7. When I start to create a new project by selecting the ' New/ActionScript Mobile Project' menu, then in the new dialog box project of Mobile of ActionScript, I give a project name, and then choose 'BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 for Adobe Air. At this point, the 'Next' button is gray on an error message on top as "BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 for Adobe AIR does not support mobile projects.". Is there something that I am missing?

I read somewhere someone comlains error message "BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 for Adobe AIR support not projects mobile." occurs after installing Blackberry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.4 while there is no problem with Blackberry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.3. If it is true, where can I download Blackberry Tablet OS SDK 0.9.3?

Thank you very much in advance,

    John

@johnwneg, make sure that when installing FB Burrito, you:

    (1) run the installer as administrator.

    (2) select English International rather than NA English.
