• Lack of Pantone colors in illustrator and Indesign

  I hope someone can help me with the following.

  I use adobe creative cloud every day on a mac. We are currently finishing off a re-brand of the company I work for and we have a new color scheme implemented, which also means PANTONE new colors were chosen.

  But for some reason, I can only find 2 of the 4 colors in my indesign and illustrator PANTONE color libraries. The rest do not seem to be available...

  You miss the following colors:

  PANTONE: 2347

  PANTONE: 2292

  I wonder if there is some sort of an update that I should do for my libraries of colors? and what is the best solution for these missing colors in my adobe design creative cloud account so I can start using them in the future.

  PANTONE provide all their colors as shades available for download on their site, more free libraries, some only in the context of their commercial software. Check out their site. While there, also read their color guides. The colors you chose may simply have been replaced / replaced by others. For what be more demand in the forums of each product.

• Disorder of the corresponding color between Ps and Dw

  I generated a simple shadow around my page design in Photoshop (the shadow blends into the background by a gentle slope color). I imported a small section of the shadow in Dreamweaver and placed in a special table cell to duplicate the affect in Dw.
  
  It's very simple. I use a web safe color (#336699) in Ps and Dw. Every work of art has been created on my Mac Pro, Leopard (10.5.2).
  
  When I test my design in Firefox, it looks perfect. When I copy the site on Dw folder on my Windows XP machine and test it in IE also seems perfect. It seems too perfect when I open design in Dw on the Windows machine (in the document window).
  
  HOWEVER... the colors do NOT match the document window Dw on my Mac. Or they don't match when I test the page using Safari on my Mac.
  
  I'm puzzled. I'm a bit new to Dw, but I use Ps and Gl for a long time. I think I know how to match the colors in the workflow. I recently updated my Mac to 10.5.2, and I wonder if this is a bug?
  
  Another thing... the drop down menus in Dw color selection areas not always functional. Sometimes the color will choose windows close leaving drop-down menus does not. You must hit ESC to exit. If you are very careful, you can get the menus to work using the central button of the mouse (I use a Mighty Mouse Wireless).
  
  Can anyone offer me advice... or everybody knows these issues in Dw? TIA.

  As mentioned previously, the color matching is perfect when the page is rendered in Firefox on my Mac. Also perfect sound on IE on my Dell XP laptop. The problem lies ONLY in Safari on my Mac and on my Mac Dreamweaver document window (it seems well in dreamweaver on my PC document window). It's very strange.

  I did some more tests tonight. If I save the graphics for the web in Photoshop and then use them on the Web page in Dreamweaver, everything looks great in the world. All browsers, both platforms & applications both for Dreamweaver.

  For some reason any made a backup as off Photoshop causes problems in Dw and Safari (but only on the Mac).

  Moral of the story... use save for web off Ps

• Color change of values between Illustrator and InDesign

  I have googled and looked here for an answer to my question, but have not been able to find anything.

  I designed several pieces of encumbered asset, all using the same unique color. Some of the pieces I designed in Illustrator and the other in InDesign.

  The problem is, when I copy and paste the yellow color value (if it is RGB or CMYK - I tried both ways), it CHANGES between Illustrator and InDesign. The color stays the same between Illustrator documents, but if I C + P InDesign - or vice versa-, the color value change literally before my eyes. And I don't want to say 'looks like' different, real changes in number.

  Here's a real example:

  Call a box in Illustrator and chose the color #f8f1e0 / 2% 3% 12% 0%. Call a box in InDesign, C + P had the values of color in there, and it DID change the color appropriate for a moment. You click OK. Click New in the color picker and color is now #f8f1e1 / 2% 3% 11% 0%.

  If it is relevant, it seems that the color will change to a slightly darker every time.

  And Yes, the two documents has STARTED OUT as CMYK documents and stayed like that. I also have my color sync via Bridge. I'm working on CC 2015 and all programs are up to date.

  Any idea of what could happen? Thank you in advance.

  ETA: Okay, I just chose preview overprinting in Illustrator and also changed the color of #f8f1e0 to #f8f1e1. I see now this is not a malfunction of the program, but can someone explain WHY this happens? I'm still new to color management and it's quite confusing for me. Thank you once again.

  ETA: thing: when I save the InDesign document to readable PDF and then pull it in Illustrator, the color is now #f8f2e2, even when you preview overprinting.

  Hexadecimal values are RGB color, so if you plug one in the color chart the resulting CMYK values are a conversion of the color management of the profile the document CMYK document RGB profile. You will get different CMYK conversions according to the profile source RGB, CMYK destination profile, intend to color and compensation of the black point used for the conversion.

  In addition the InDesign documents can have colors RGB and CMYK with CMYK and RGB profiles assigned that do not necessarily correspond to the color settings work profiles, in order to sync'ng your color settings may not get everything to match.

  Ultimately if you want to match the CMYK color or nuances between AI and ID, make sure you document assigned CMYK profile matching (Edit > assign profile...) and enter CMYK and hex does not values

  Well, the spot color has not changed, but the way they were simulated four-color changed, they now use color management to get to the nearest ink possible task.

Shouldn't be black and white? In addition, what tool is better to use shades of color, Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop?

  because in RGB color mode represents fire. all colors are red, green and blue. in CMYK mode, it represents the inks. This black can consist of a single black ink or a combination of the other inks. in your case, it seems as if it was only in black.

• Lightroom crashes when you set the corresponding colors in the settings of the printer Canon Pro1

  Myself and my partner have experienced the same problem on two different computers. When we have implemented a new preset in the print for printing profiling module and enter the corresponding color in the grave lightroom print module down. We're not sure if it's a lightroom problem, Microsoft or the gun problem. I systematically after backup everything in re installed lightroom printing software Canon, - no change still crashes, Lightroom 6 - not even change crashes. The only thing I did is restored my windows 7 OS because I found windows vista back roller is save me only since the last 5 days. I hate to re load my o/s.   Hi, maybe I can help.

  I had the same problem starting yesterday when I installed a small application had to manage the internal designation of ICC profiles, i.e. tried to make the ICC more friendly user name profile in Photoshop or Lightroom: "CANSON_Baryta_310g_CanonPro1", instead of "cifa_pixmapro1_baryta310".

  At the same time, I had downloaded new versions of the CANSON ICC profiles for my CANON Pixma Pro-1.

  Seems new or rewritten Canson profiles those who got a corruption which prevents the pilot CANON to correctly read the ICC profiles available in C:/Windows/system32/drivers/color.

  After having the same operations as you pilot and relocation application Canon without success, I had the idea that it could be linked to the management of ICC profiles or corrupted ICC.

  I have created therefore then a "backup" subdirectory in the directory of 'color' of icc and have moved all the Canson and CANSON rewrote the ICC files.

  The problem has been resolved.

  I suggest you do the same thing, i.e. move away all uncertain icc profiles until you get the Canon printer properties /driver to work and then replace one by one all ICC to determine which of your the ICC is corrupt.

• Fonts do not print the correct colors from Illustrator or Acrobat

  I create in Illustrator. I put the nuances that I use for all my designs to be used as I have clients who have physical impressions of these swatches. The problem is, I can change the color of the work and the design of the elements in the file and it will print the correct color, but when you use the same exact shade on the police, it does not and it gives me a shadow of what is the color, while the design of the elements in the same file (traits (, forms, etc.) print the right shade. This occurs when you print from the two Illustrator and PDF of Acrobat format. I tried to create a new doc and type the text, but the tone still does not. I used to be able to print from Illustrator and the problem was solved, but now suddenly it does not work in an application. I wish to print all in PDF format, but I was never able to get the correct color print in this way. Also, I have tested on several fonts and I get the same problem.

  Hi people, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here, but I would have thought that speedgrade and with 2 - up characteristic based on the shots. If I happen to place the sliders 1 and 2 on the same chassis of same clip I would have taken that image should look the same in the two videos? Because I did a quick glance suddenly earlier and had applied to the item in question why the preview would be different between the two sliders...

  Also when I try to use the scene detection feature, it seems to be obscured when you dynamically link to the organization. But even more annoying when I open a video directly in speedgrade, as soon as I select the scene then detects, it blocks the request.

  Learn the game-shot stuff is a bit difficult at the beginning. A the things that I always forget when I get back to that is you have TO select the number of the head you are trying to copy to so it is highlighted before clicking this icon of the corresponding color arrow. As in this screenshot...

  

  Click on that play-head number (1) and then click the arrow-on-the-color-ball (2) and it should then change the clip below that play - head to the other clip. In this case, the second clip tried match the previous item.

  Make sure that you are connected to the CC profile through the Illustrator preferences. Once you create the themes on the site of Adobe color. You should see the themes load in the palette of theme.

  Try to reset the preferences to see if that helps. Also try to sign out and sign back in the profile to trigger the themes to sync

  I am a production artist and I make use of the corresponding color command a lot in my work. I often 6-10 Photoshop documents open and one of them is designated as my master document. With this document, I run the command of the corresponding color. Inside of the dialogue of the corresponding color, I charge one of the other open documents in the Source dropdown under statistics of images. I click Ok, and then save the master document under a new name. I have to repeat this step for all open documents. Naturally, it becomes tedious.

  
  

  I started to write a script to automate this process, but I can't find the syntax for the corresponding color. I have the Adobe Photoshop Cs6 Javascript Scripting reference, but have been unable to locate in this PDF file. I tried to look online, but no luck. Does anyone know what syntax to use as well as associated properties / methods?
