  My computer is running Vista and I recently installed a printer HP 1510.  It print regular documents well, but when I try to print 4 x 6 photos it will not print the full size.  I gives me only one option in the print job (Windows Photo Gallery is a default software) full page.  I tried selecting off selection 'mount framework' and there was no difference.  I have reset the printer a few times and verified that all drivers are up-to-date.  I just want to click on the picture and print the right size!  Any help would be appreciated.

  You don't have to have the full feature software installed correctly for your printer for this to all work:

  Install the full features software - printer

  If you have installed the printer software, it is probably OK.

  If you select the paper format 4 X 6, then you can also select other options listed in the last column.  These are mutually exclusive.  The available options change depending on the paper type you select.

  Printing preferences are something you have to set up the way you like - and then change them when you change the document, change the 'thing' you print, your idea on what you want...

  You can click on a picture and have it automatically print a 4 X 6 photo if you have a printer with a tray-picture in it with the photo paper loaded and ready to go.  You would still have to change the printing preferences if you want to change the configuration for no reason at all.

  I think I might be missing the point entirely.  My apologies for the lazy-brain.  The smile.

  Installation HP2575 on another PC with 8.1 Windows 64-Bit operating system.  After installing new printer cartridges have been installed, print heads were clean and aligned and even Magenta will not print.

  Take a look at the diagnostic test page.  Colors have lines through them, and the depth of the colors are not what they should be. We did change color saturation temperature and do not have an increase in the saturation of Magenta.

  What else should I consider troubleshooting?

  Alchohal Publix swabs to clean electrical contacts and the nozzles on the printer cartridges. Also cleaned the contact electric coupling on the printer.

  You can simply use the TCP protocol to establish a connection to the printer on port 9100. The printer is set up to automatically close the connections that are inactive after 5 minutes.   I did a test once my pictures came out with greenish and bluish colors. I saved an image I created and that was a lot of red, pink, purple and magenta on a flash drive. Then I inserted the drive flash directly in the front of the printer and the image printed with all the vibrant colors that it should print.

  Brian of Britec explains the process to remove the stubborn locked files with these two programs listed below. It doesn't matter if the locked files were a virus or not. You can stop and replay the video as much as you want, easy peasy.

  Download and install Process Explorer from Microsoft Sysinternals.

  Download and install Malwarebytes Fileassassin

  That should do well.

  Display uppercase makes reading difficult.

  Have you checked the printer properties settings?

  I used times new roman in word 2013.  New file.  Apparently the version of adobe that I use will not incorporate.  I use the version line.  I was told that I have to upgrade to Adobe Pro.  I'm dealing with a patent application, so I can't share the document.  The patent office cannot accept that documents with embedded fonts.  My drawings that have been scanned and then converted are a problem too because I get an error based on the size of the page (23.6 "x 32.4") and I am unable to reduce this size in files from Adobe.com.

  Unfortunately I signed up for this product that get these two converted documents and uploaded only to discover that the conversions will not download.

  It turns out that I had to change my color matching print settings to make it work. I went under correspondence of colors and changed the option provider corresponding to ColorSync.

  This automatically replaced by the profile glossy color Brochure instead of paper simply. It's a shame as this used toner and does not allow you to print a copy of the project.

  I tried a couple of the other profiles, but so far they use as much toner, or does not print the logo. I was subjected to time constraints, so I had to stop experimentation, but once this project is completed, I will try the other profiles to see if they work.

  just install a print server on the network from my boss - netgearPS121v2.  everything is great with 2 Mac and a PC - everything can print, etc.

  all the macs print to print IP assistance and the appropriate driver.  for some reason, my boss pro macbook did not have the correct driver installed and all that is available to him is "HP Officejet J4680 series - Fax" that does not work.  I use the same macbook pro with the same system (10.6) and did not have a problem.  his machine was the Guinea pig for his assistant try to set up while on the phone with HP tech support.  (I was out of town and unable to install).  I have a feeling that this was an inadequate installation and hampered by technical support, try to fix it.

  any suggestions on how to completely uninstall the HP software so I can't completely re - install?

  Well Yes,.

  I guess that someone loaded the HP from the CD for the printer software (which is only 10.5 or earlier version).  Here's how to correct:

  Go to Applications/Hewlett Packard / click Uninstall HP
  Click on continue
  Highlight your device in the left pane
  Hold down the Ctrl and Opt Cmd and click on uninstall
  There will be a pop up that asks if you are sure you want to uninstall all hp software. (At this point, if you continue, all HP printers you have installed will need to be reinstalled)
  Click on continue and let it finish

  Now run a software update.

  Then, remove and reinstall the printer in System Preferences, Print & Fax.

  You do not have the software now since Snow Leopard as well print & scan drivers built-in. scan from Preview apps or Image Capture. Scan from the front panel of the printer does not work yet.
