  Good so I have this laptop Dell XPS L502X that I bought in 2012. The laptop provided with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Edition.

  His output HDMI for my Sony LED used previously to work properly.

  But there are a few months that those offered by Microsoft, I upgraded my OS from Windows 7 Home edition to Windows Home Edition 10 laptop.  Since the upgrade, everything worked fine except I don't get HDMI output to my TV.

  I am happy to update this thread, the problem of my laptop screen is displayed using HDMI on my Sony TV, solved on its own with the last update for Windows 10 which includes the OS 1607 version build: 14393.187

BTW, the BI Publisher on this machine works correctly.

  Not able to open the IAM blog you referred to above.

  Make sure that you have deployed the analyticsRes component as shown in http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/bi/bi1113/customizing_obiee11g/customizing_obiee11g.htm. Create a folder called produced under analyticsres and start accessing images.

  We are missing the Supression of the VALUE DEFAULT radio button in the property of OBIEE (11.1.15) analytical COLUMN (all I have is REPEAT and SUPPRESS). It seems that one of our team member has changed this property to "systemic" this is why we cannot see this DEFAULT option. Did someone knows how to set default values (ie you can see all the radio three buttons, REPEAT, DELETE, by DEFAULT).

  There is a column that must be hidden to a particular group of people...
  There are 2 options that I know of...
  (1) in the presentation... layer set permissions for this column... deny for this group...
  (2) repeat all reports without this column...
  
  Of course the 2nd option is not favourable... so I tried one... Having done this...
  This column was hidden in the responses, but all reports that contain the column... up the mistake in saying... Column unsolved... etc.. hich is seemingly obvious...

  If you implement security at the column level, then you must set this setting PROJECT_INACCESSIBLE_COLUMN_AS_NULL to yes in the NQSconfig file to avoid the error.

  Personally, I've used several graphic programs 2D and 3D even on Windows XP Mode, include The Print Shop, PhotoDraw 2000 v2 and they work very well to this topic. The article I linked to provide instructions how to publish your applications, you can use alongside Windows 7 applications.

  No, you will need to purchase a new license if your Windows 7 OEM System Builder License fails. You could of course try install and reactivate the components on the new motherboard before buying a new license, because some people have been 'lucky' get it reactive but is is not a guarantee. If the motherboard is replaced based on a defect or warranty, you should be able to reactivate the replacement motherboard.

  The OEM of Windows 7 versions are identical to the versions commercial full license with the following exception:

  -OEM versions don't offer any free direct support from Microsoft technical support Microsoft

  -OEM Licenses are tied to the computer first you install and activate it on

  -OEM versions allow all hardware upgrades except for an upgrade to a different model motherboard

  -OEM versions does not move directly from an older Windows operating system

  The fact is that the Java edition is much smaller, so if you just use it to run the XSL Mapper, then, the Java edition could be a better option.

  Here is the solution, if you install JDeveloper 11 g 'Java Edition' and check the version installed in 'About' you will see (example):

  -Oracle IDE 11.1.1.9.40.66.73

  If you try to install any version of the SOA Composite Editor, you will get the message:

  Impossible to install this update. It requires other extensions that are not installed, or that are installed, but incompatible:

  -oracle.studio min 11.1.1.9.40.66.73 = not installed

  -oracle.j2ee min 11.1.1.9.40.66.73 = not installed

  So the conclusion is that you must install JDeveloper 'Studio' version.
