  I suggest you to completely remove Norton of the system using Norton Removal Tool and check if the problem persists.

  I have a problem with my computer it has been infected by a virus that is not visible in normal mode. It prevents running any application that would help in the detection and removal. I tried running mrt, mcaffe, trendmicro rootkit detector rootkit detector, spybotSD, analysis windows Defender online Windows live onecar. All these works for a minute and then shutsdown, when I click it again I get the error, as mentioned in the title, 'windows cannot access the specified device file or the path, you do not have permissions.

  This problem has a solution or re - install is the only way out?

  The pointers/help appreciated.

  Just to add, I am able to connect using my last known good configuration and only safe mode configurations.

  Try to start the computer in safe mode with network and check if the same error message, here is the link:

  However, to work around the problem, try the step below:

  a. right click on the program file, select Properties.

  b. on the general tab, at the bottom, you will see listed in the issue of safety: this file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer.

  e. click OK.

  I'm using InDesign CS 5 and the creation of folio for iPad 2. My Folio builder was working fine until last week, but all of a sudden I see a change in the way it behaves. When I update the files in the Folio Builder, it adds all the files in the path of access (not only the links in the file), including source of PSD files and other related files that I have never used in InDesign, do folio file will increase in size. Can someone help me please how do I remedy this situation?

  You have an HTML file in there? If so, put it (as well as its assets) in its own folder.

• Extract the file to the path

  I'm working on a project which seeks to this folder a file is in before determining what function to perform.  Currently I use nomchemin var = decodeURI (app.activeDocument.path.name); to extract the immediate folder the file is located in, but in some cases, I need to retrieve the name of a folder of that one.  For example, currently gets 1\ C:\Texture Sets\LibraryLarge Format and returns the 'Large Format' folder to the path variable, because the file that I work with is located in this folder.  What I need is a way to check for 'Library 1' in the same way using the same file.  Thanks for any help!

  I am facing a roadblock here.

  I am currently using create a file (path of the unwired file) so that the user can enter the name of the file "test.txt" to create the txt file. No problem here.

  However, I want this newly created text file to be my path to my writing on a spreadsheet file.

  Why not use Build path? and then send it to write to the spreadsheet file.

  Cannot install any software downloaded - says "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file.  You can not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.  This happened after I went on a bad site and downloaded something accidentally and I was not able to do anything after that.  I have avast and avast kept popping up saying I've made to a site with malware and that it would interrupt - well these pop - ups have ceased and I was scanning my computer using windows defender (which did not find anything) - but I still have problems on my computer.   If it does not remove the problem and or work correctly in normal mode do work above in safe mode with networking

  This problem may be caused by this security software on the computer, uninstall them might solve the problem.

  Example: AVG, Zone Alarm

  Important:

  O before you uninstall the security software disconnect the computer from the internet. Make sure that the windows firewall is enabled.

  Ø you may need to check with the manufacturer of security software for reinstallation and activation.

  O re - install the security software on the computer.

• Use regular expressions to extract .llb file from the path name

  I'm trying to be smart (always a dangerous thing) and use a regular expression to extract the name of a library to a filepath converted to a string.   While I appreciate there are other ways to do this, regex seems to be a very powerful way of neat, I would be able to operate.

  IE, if I have a string of type, C:\applications\versions\library.llb\toplevel.vi, I want to be able to extract the library.llb of the string, because it will be of variable length, may include the numbers & spaces and may be located in a file of variable depth hierarchy.   In other words, I want to extract the part of the string between the last-which ends with .llb

  The best I managed so far is \\+.*llb who all returned less the drive letter and the toplevel.vi

  Can someone help me to achieve this goal, or I'm better by using an alternative method (for example filepath string in array, search for .llb)
