No Internet unless I reboot after initial start-up

My new Inspiron 3059 AIO connected to the internet just fine at the beginning.  But for the last few days I had a problem when I start the morning for the first time the network icon will be a little asterisk next to him, and when I open the browser, the home page is not available.  When I click the icon network, it will display the name of my home network and say "secure", but when I click on it and try to 'connect', it says that it cannot connect with this network.  If I do a restart, the connection is re-established.  (There is no problem reconnects if the system is in "standby").

I ran to the resolution of network problems, which rises without solution.  I checked to see that the real network ID and password are there, so I don't think that the computer is to forget these things.  And my phone, the Tablet and the old computer connect without problems so I don't think it's the modem or the router.

Any ideas why I always have to restart the computer immediately after an initial start-up in order to get online?  (Details: Inspiron 3059, Windows 10, Linksys router E900, modem Arris SB6141).  Thank you.

    What happens is that the system began to hang at start up.     4. you are using IE6, IE7 or IE8?

    I'm not very tech savyy so apologize if this is a stupid question! But I just bought my laptop today and the Quick guide installation explains that the initial start-up would take 2.5 hours and that the computer might restart several times during this process. Well the first thing I did was load the computer (for an hour), then turned on. Launch seemed to take about 10-15 minutes and it restarted only once.

    Missing something? What is supposed to happen in the initial start?

    The initial startup time is always depending on the exact model laptop. Different laptops come with a different software so the initial boot time may be different.

    If everything is installed now and you can use your laptop for Internet and other things don t worry.

    What you need to do now is create the Toshiba Recovery disk first. Start so the recovery media creator pre-installed and you need some blank DVDs (I recommend the high quality DVD-R media). If you have the disks, you are always able to restore the original settings of the case. :)

    Dear guys, I installed Windows 8.1 on my laptop HP Pavilion G6 2241sa.

    Everything is perfect, I downloaded all the drivers, internet works fine BUT I noticed that the speed of my broadband a few minutes down from 80%. My broadband speed is 30meg to bottom/30 megs.

    Download speed is reduced to 2-3megs, but upload speed remains the same...

    My Network (displayed in the Device Manager) card is AR9485 of Qualcom Atheros 802.11b/g/n wifi adapter.

    When I uninstall, Windows automatically detects and installs back. Internet high speed returns to normal, but after a few minutes or maybe 10 12 minutes speed drops back down, until the speed remains unchanged... I removed it 10 times, even tried to reinstall all the ralink drivers for win 8 or Win8.1, but Windows says I have the perfect driver and that it does not install anything else. I removed just in case antivirus, does not work. I checked the speed on the other computer - no problem there, but on my laptop it persists. On Windows 7, I didn't have this problem, it started after Win 8.1.   If you could please help me fix. Thank you very much. Lives

    OK, this is my last post on this topic because I think I solved the problem.

    I thought it was Windows 8.1 to blame, but I finally installed Windows 7. Internet was excellent, but after I installed all the latest drivers of the site Web of AMD (Amd catalyst, video driver, etc.), down speed was limited to 2 to 2.5 Mbps.

    I used the system restore and Internet working again. I decided to check again, and after that I installed again the pile of last softward to Amd, I had problem once again. Prolem is therefore up to the latest version of the AMD software. Do not know exacctly what part, perhaps things like AMD stream or similar. I also believe that this issue includes my modem that does not like to communicate with my computer that has these last things AMD.

    Anyway, thanks for reading. My internet gives me full speed and I am happy with that. I just create a system restore point before updating to new drivers from the site Web of AMD. It's easy to go back. A big thanks to everyone! Lives

  • When to reboot after deleting or adding a program

    I'm doing a system reformat on my computer. I would uninstall all the frivolous programs that came with the computer (for example, the evaluation version) until I put a new system restore point. My question is: if I have TO RESTART my computer after EACH program I uninstall it from the control panel (Add / Remove Programs)? OR can I just "delete" them all at once, then do a restart.

    Similarly, can I restart my computer after EACH application I have installed? For example, to install Norton 360 > restart > then install MS Office > restart > then install Adobe Creative Suite > restart > etc, etc. ?

    I personally would like to always re - start when asked.

    Not all programs will require a reboot after the installation or the removal, so in your situation I would re - start when you are prompted.

    If you don't re - start whenever there is a (small) possibility that some files can not be erased when you re-boot.

    If you are looking to get rid of all the pre-installed stuff, look for a program called "de-Crapifier PC", I have not used it myself, but it seems to have a lot of comments and recommendations in all popular PC press.

    Recently, after the start and after a period of inactivity, I can freely move the mouse around the desktop, but when I try to activate a prog to my office with a left click, nothing happens. No sign of any loading "egg Cup"!

    Were far from affected computer, sorry for the delay, attached my answers to your questions and suggestions: brand and model of mouse: MEDION (wireless)... Unknown model... came with the computer method 1 MEDION: I selected the optional updates and automatic updates since I got the computer and works ok method 2: could not do without happen in safe mode... too complicated to follow other tips pages Ref other modes! BUT... when I tried to reboot in safe mode, the model pulled until the bar moving green loading with the Microsoft Word briefly appeared and immediately took refers me to the black page on which the only option I've heard was to start Windows the last course setting (or words to that effect)... what I did and the computer has pulled up as normal... and since then the pointer problem Innefective mouse wondering did not occur! COMMENTS ON YOUR SUGGESTIONS METHOD I & 2: these links took me to links, links, links etc which were too numerious... too technical in parts to undertsand... so I'm in a situation that, even if the fault has not reappeared, i.e. I don't know really what the fault is, therefore, if this happens again, I'll need a 'hold my hand' approach more useful rather than running mutiple links to me on which I have to make a decision, which I am not qualified for this!   • XPS 13 (9343) crashes minutes after the start of

    A week ago, my Dell XPS 13 running Windows 8.1 suddenly stopped working about 1-3 minutes after the start, then rebooted - just to keep crashing and restarting after a few minutes. Unable to understand what caused the problem, I did a clean install of Windows 10; that is, fitness and installing W10 bootable USB drive.

    After installing a few Dell drivers (wifi, video, sound), the problem returns. Same question; After connection, Windows seems to start as usual, then crashes after 1 to 3 minutes.

    The system is a Dell XPS 13 (9343), i7-5500, 512 GB SSD, QHD touchscreen.

    The memory on this model is welded in - it cannot be deleted.

    If you haven't run a complete diagnosis of the hardware, F12 repeatedly at startup will help you do.  You can also watch to see if you have crash dump files (WhoCrashed is a good utility for their sight-reading).
