No language except administrator bar

Equipped with Vista with SP2.  I created two accounts, a Director and one for a student who uses the computer.  I have installed the Japanese IME, but the language bar appears only when I am logged on as administrator, and not when the student is using the computer.  I don't want him to have the ability of the administrator, but it must be able to write in Japanese for the school.   How can I get the language bar appear when it is signed as a student?

Hello Calbengoshi,

You should try to set up the pack of Japanese language for the standard user account.

Configuration options of country/region and language

You can use the regional and Language Options settings in the control panel of the languages of entry for user accounts. For the MUI Pack, you can use these settings to specify or change the default user interface language or to install or remove user interface language packs.

To change the language for non-Unicode programs

  1. Log on as an administrator.
  2. In Control Panel, click regional and Language Options.
  3. Click the Advanced tab, and then under language for non-Unicode programs, select the language for which the application has been developed.

Try to add the language of the other user account Standard bar:

To add the language bar to the connection to desktop or the taskbar for the other account (standard):

  1. In Control Panel, under clock, language and region, click on change keyboards or other input methods.
  2. Click on change keyboard and then click on the language bar.
  3. In the dialog box text Services and languages of entry, under preferences, click Language bar.
  4. In the language bar tab, select the check boxes corresponding to the language bar and the options for the task bar you want to activate.

  • StreamReader refused except administrator access

VS 2010 Premium: Windows Forms Application: installed on Windows 7 64 bit: built with x 86 target (for an embedded com object).

Some image files with StreamReader get "Access denied" error message unless the user runs the application as an administrator.  The user is an administrator on their computer and a network administrator.

Image files have been installed with a different package.  The first use of the images had no problem.  And then, some time after the application is using the image, this question is also surprising.

    Var m As System.IO.StreamReader = Nothing

    St = New System.IO.StreamReader (strImageFile)

    ReturnImage = Image.FromStream (st. BaseStream)

    St. Close()

    St = Nothing

How to reset the image back to permit to open from the current user?

Effective file permissions don't show no change in permissions.  I don't know how to open the application as an administrator solves different file permissions.  But the application is not able to open the image is certainly a problem.

    Thanks for your help.

Found the issue myself.  Properties of Visual Studio, the Security tab, uncheck enable ClickOnce security settings box.  My application has been published previously as a ClickOnce application, and when I opted for installed windows asks the security context was collecting this ClickOnce security settings instead of security expected application installed.

  • The language bar shows when the user account control appears, supposed to be hidden.

I've been looking for an answer to this one so vain if this question has already been answered please point me in the right direction. I chose to hide the language bar after a reinstall of windows 7, but whenever the user account control appears I see the language bar sitting there, mocking me. I don't see any option to close, only to hide. It does not show during normal activity, only when the user account control POPs asking if I want to allow a program to run. It's driving me crazy.

    Thanks in advance

Old post I know but I cannot believe no one could help you guys, I recently noticed this was happening on my pc, have no idea why, but I guess it was something to do with installation/un-installing new software. In any case, here is the solution, because I don't think that these guys have a clue of what you're going on, of course, lol.

    Click on:

    Beginning
    Control Panel
    Clock, language and region
    Regional and Language Options
    Keyboards and languages
    Change keyboards...
    Language bar
    Hidden
    Ok

Now return to the regional and language options and then click:

    Administrative
    Copy to reserved accounts

    * Type password *, click on:

    System accounts
    Ok
    Ok

If for any reason any you do not see a password for copy to reserved accounts, and instead, option you have this pop up with checkboxes:

Copy your regional and language settings to these accounts:

    Default user account (new users)
System accounts (local system, local service, and network service)
Just check the two of them and ok.

There's no more annoying language on UAC bar more.

  • Language bar malfunction - activation of languages not selected

Through the language bar, I consulted the menu "text Services and input languages". I chose English (United Kingdom) [United States-International keyboard], without all the other languages added to the menu, but an additional Chinese option exists on the language bar.

I have previously activated Chinese (PRC) [keyboard, Chinese (Simplified) - Microsoft Pinyin IME 3.0], but deleted. However, the language still exists in my language despite having bar removed. This problem persists even when I try to add the Chinese language again and remove it.

A secondary problem is that the language bar appears under the 'language bar' in the options menu of the taskbar, but when it is active, it sometimes appears as "language bar". While selecting, he disappears sometimes, removing the ability to select the language bar and then randomly is available again.

For each problem any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the advice, but I accidentally posted this on the wrong forum. It refers to Windows XP, and I believe that its fixed after restarting.

  • Language bar missing from the taskbar

My tongue is MIA. I have at least 5 languages installed and I followed all the directions and I checked the forums, but it is still missing! I find it very frustrating because I want to type in Japanese, and Farsi, and I need the toolbar to do this.

    This is the standard procedure:

If the language bar is not listed in the menu toolbars, you do not have many input languages installed on your computer. You must add other languages using region and language in Control Panel.

Follow the steps mentioned below to add an input language:

    1. open region and language by clicking on the Start button, click on the Control Panel, clicking clock, language, and region, click the region and language.
    2. click on the keyboards and languages tab and then click on change keyboards.
    3. under installed services, click Add.
    4. double-click on the language that you want to add, double-click keyboard, select the text services options you want to add and then click OK.

  • Several administrative languages

On Windows 7 64 bit I want to use several language of Administration cause some programs that I use Japanese need and a few programs that I use need Turkish. Is it possible?

    Hello

According to the description, I understand that you want to use several administrative language because some programs that you use need Japanese and Turkish.

You can see the article mentioned below to download the language pack for Windows 7.

    https://support.Microsoft.com/en-us/help/14236/language-packs

You can install multiple languages on your computer, but two languages cannot work at the same time. A language should be disabled when the other is enabled.

Or language can be configured for the user profile. For example. A user profile language can be Japanese and the other user profile can be in English.

When you install a language pack, you can change the interface language of Windows 7 to the language that you select.

Language packs also allow multiple users sharing a language to select distinct view. For example, a user can select to see dialog boxes, menus and other text in Japanese, while another user might choose to see the same content in French.

For more information, you can check out the article below.

Hope this information is useful, if the problem persists please write us back with the quick information so that we can help you further.

  • I have Vista recovery DVD on the English language?

Hi, I bought a satellite A100-095 and I am very satisfied with the product. My problem is that I live in Italy and so I have windows vista Italian language. I'm a developer and vista comes with .net framework 2.0 pre-installed in Italian language, I need to change to English because programming with Italian setting, it's terrible because I am used to develop English language, but it seems that there is no way to change the language except the upgrade to windows vista Ultimate edition an option that I don't like.

My question is, it is possible to change the language of the operating system of the laptop after buying? Y at - it an option to return to toshiba my Italian disc having an English version of recovery disk?

    Thanks for the attenction.

    ING. Gian Maria Ricci

    Hello

Don t think that they will replace the Italian version of Windows Vista with the English version of Vista.
Always is that the operating system and recovery CD come with laptops in the same language when the laptop was purchase
The English passage of Italian recovery CD CD is not possible.
You will need to buy an original Vista Microsoft CD.
