No more new music from Evol carousel future album

Someone else knows it? The only album of music featured is the future Evol

Yes I see the same thing on my iPhone and iTunes. As this is an exclusive Apple music release its probably part of their promotion for the album. The normal carousel will probably return after a day or two.

  • I can't make my music available offline more through music from Apple.

I just got a new phone and I am unable to make the music available offline. Any ideas?

    Hi Kelsey_92,

If you are having problems with the process of making music available for your new iPhone offline, make sure you follow the steps below.

Download songs, albums and playlists to listen to offline

You can download songs, albums, or playlists on your device so that you can listen to them when you are not connected to the Internet, you need to download tracks, albums or playlists on each device that you want to use for offline listening.

    * You can download music on up to 10 devices. These songs are only available during your membership of Apple's music.

On your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

    1. In the music application, find the element you want to download.
    2. Tap the More Options to the right of the name of the song, album, or playlist.
    3. Click on download.

Songs and albums appear under my music > library. Playlists appear under my music > playlists.

Simply display songs, albums and playlists that you downloaded on your device

    • iPhone, iPad and iPod touch: In the Music my tab, click library. Then press one of the different points of view (artists, Albums, etc.) and only turn on offline music. A message that says "not showing music on this [device]. Display all the music. "at the top of the screen. Tap view all music to see all of your music.
    • Mac: In iTunes, on the bar menu at the top of your computer screen, choose View > only offline of the music. A message that says "not showing music on this computer. Display all the music. "at the top of the screen. Click on 'Show all music' to see all your music.
    • Windows: Press control and B on your keyboard to open the bar menu of iTunes. Choose View > music offline. A message that says "not showing music on this computer. Display all the music. "at the top of the screen. Click on 'Show all music' to see all your music.

When you view an item that you have downloaded on your device, you will see an icon offline near it but its exact location varies. For example:

    • If you download a whole album or playlist, offline icon appears when you look at the album or playlist in my music. You will also see an icon in offline mode when you view a compilation, but not when you view specific genres, composers or artists.
    • If you download a song, the offline icon to the right of each title of the song.
    • If you download songs from the album, but not whole album, offline icon appears to the right of the just the songs you downloaded.

  • How can I prevent iTunes from bad put new music in a new folder?

I have a new Windows computer and moved all my music stored in iTunes, which went well.  I had to re-rip CDs (missing songs from a long - ago migration) and I noticed that instead of putting the songs in c:\users\username\music\itunes\itunesmedia, it is now declining these newly ripped songs in a subfolder in iTunes Media appointed, in addition, 'Music' (c:\users\username\music\itunes\itunesmedia\music).  I discovered this when I right click
Display in Windows Explorer and sees all the music from a CD in a folder.  Records are organized just like in iTunes Media, by artist name and that the mere fact that I know, they are not in one place, they play well.  Still, I would an album to be all in one folder, however.

    Here are my settings/preferences:

location of iTunes Media is: c:\users\username\music\itunes\itunesmedia

Maintain organized the iTunes Media folder is not checked

Copy the files in the iTunes folder when adding to Library Media is verified.

"I assumed that once when adding new songs, the: copy files to iTunes Media folder" would be my songs on behalf of the artist suitable in iTunes Media, but rather he loses music newly added in a new folder confusingly also named 'music' in iTunes Media.

Looking for suggestions on setting changes (a computer expert suggested I not check keep iTunes folder Media to keep the best control of my collection, but I wonder if this would solve everything.) In addition, it is a new computer and Windows music player ever has been implemented, so I don't think that there is a problem with both programs clashing.)

    Thx for helping me, Roberta

  • Is it possible to transfer music from an ipod 4G for the new model?

I got my ipod touch 4g since 2010 and I was too cheap to upgrade. Now that the battery life has been emptying faster than ever and high sleep button no longer works, I think its time to finally switch to this new model.

The bad part is that for the last 6 years, I have collected 12.6 GB worth of music on my ipod touch with nearly 85 per cent of it related to the device itself and not on my pc. I usually have the removed from the computer as Itunes would always keep always on my ipod touch as long as the songs were always listed in the library.

I was wondering is there a way to transfer my music from my old ipod touch to the new model?

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not that a transfer backup device and media has been planned with you keep a master copy of your media on a computer that is in itself independently supported against loss.  To use a device with a different configuration, you pass the old library from a computer or a backup directly in the new configuration, not the device to the library. Synchronization of media isn't a way, computer to the device, update the contents of the device to the content on the computer, update or restore the content on a computer. The exception is iTunes Store purchases that can be transferred to a computer.

Redownload or transfer your iTunes Store purchases an iPhone, iPad or iPod to computer - https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201267 - 'this feature only works for content purchased from the iTunes Store. From iOS9 is more apps that now need to be re-downloaded directly from the store.

To transfer other items from an i-device to a computer, you will need to use third-party commercial software.  See this document in turingtest2: recover your iTunes library from your iPod or device iOS - https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991 even this method can fully recover what you originally had in the library. For example, in order to save space during synchronization if you had converted music files at a lower rate, or photos at a lower resolution, it is these lower quality files that will pick you up.

If you subscribe to the Apple music, titles that are not part of the content that you have purchased or downloaded may not be transferred and must be downloaded directly from iCloud.

  • How to import music from my iPhone to a new Mac?

I recently bought a 13 "Macbook Pro and tried to sync music from my iPhone to the laptop, and yet when I tried to watch iTunes says that he wants to wipe the phone to sync it to the new computer. If I do this, I lose everything, because my old computer Microsoft is irreparably damaged and I do not have a backup of my music. Considering that I have thousands of songs on my phone I do not disappear and be replaced by those that I bought through iTunes. Is there a possible way to transfer my music on my Mac without wiping the phone?

  • Movement music from itunes to a new external drive

    Hello!

So there are a lot of questions in the face of this general problem, but I found no one who comes close to my situation.

There are at present all music from my iTunes (~1.4 TB) library is shared between two external drives. I just bought a new laptop (3 TB) and would like to move - preferably not copy, I know that straight-up moving items between volumes is possible in the terminal, I don't know the right commands - all this music to the new drive. My iTunes Library.itl and the rest of the folder iTunes at the same time, are on my computer, I don't know if we keep them there or move them as well.

I use any file "iTunes Media. Most of my library is rips of CD and downloads without loss, and I prefer to keep the organized myself (as including scans of records covers music and writing notes and other information about the record such as comments). "Keep iTunes Media folder organized" and "Copy the files into the iTunes Media folder when adding to library" is, therefore, both uncontrolled. And I think that naming a new file on the new drive as "iTunes Media" and then checking "Consolidate files" in the file > library > organize library to copy all the music she would keep the folder structure I created or transfer through the images, log files, PDF files, etc..

Can anyone advise on what would allow me to do this with a minimum of disruption to my iTunes library (IE not having to add all and recreate all my playlists, etc., which, in itself, would take another hours 20, or whatever on top of the amount of time it will take to move all files?)

    Thanks in advance!

    OS X 10.7.5 / iTunes 12.1.2.27

If you want iTunes to do the work (as expected), let iTunes do its work...    That would mean designate a location on the new drive for the iTunes Media folder (in the Advanced iTunes preferences pane) by using the command to "consolidate files" (-> library menu bar-> organize the library-> consolidate the files).

IF all your current iTunes media on the external drive files are on a SINGLE volume (not two), you can copy your folder structure complete (for your iTunes media files) to the new volume of external hard drive (using the Finder).  Then with iTunes works DO NOT, unplug the old external drive and rename the new external drive exactly the same name volume as the old volume of external drive.  Basically, do the new disc looks like the old drive to iTunes.  When you run iTunes, the "routes" to its multimedia files are the same as before, so iTunes sees no difference.

But since your iTunes media is 'shared between two external drives', you can't do it cleanly.  If a part is much more important, you could do the above with the majority only.  Now, at this point, you can use it in this way, with the new external drive as your main expansion of storage in course, and existing 'other' always connected player.  In iTunes, it seems again the same as before.

If you want that all your media files to iTunes on the new external drive...  Copy this second folder (with your smallest part of iTunes media) structure to the new external drive (using the Finder).  With iTunes doesn't work DO NOT, unplug the 'other' external drive.  When you run iTunes, it loses track of media files in this part (but keep those songs with exclamation point in the library).  This next part may or may not work.  When iTunes spot is no longer a song file, when you try to play it, iTunes will ask if you want to locate.  I heard that if you do this for a song (by pointing to the new location for this piece), iTunes can extrapolate the locations for the other files 'disappeared' of the song.  If it does not work with the first song (or partially works), try to do it for a little more.  Worst case, you will need to add the songs in the smaller part manually.

  • How to transfer music from the ipod and create a new library

I want to create a new iTunes from an ipod content library.  How can I do this?

You can transfer your iTunes store purchases directly from your iPod, see here

For the rest of your music, such as songs that you ripped from a CD, you will need to use third party software such as TouchCopy for PC and Phoneview for Mac, as it is stated on Apple here support communities...

  • Use of bluetooth, how to copy selected music from my Macbook 2009 to my new iMac

Using bluetooth, how can I copy selected songs from iTunes in my old Macbook to my new iMac? (It might help us to let you know that I don't buy music from the iTunes store). Thanks in advance for your advice.

    Hi patrickfromleeds,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.

I see you want to sync music to your new iPod touch.  If you have a subscription to Apple's music, you can use iCloud music library to keep your music to date.  If you do not, you can synchronize by plugging your iPod into your computer, then sync to iTunes.  Have fun with your new iPod!
