No network card compatible found after a reboot on ESXi 5.5.0 work

Hello

I have two servers Dell R720 with Broadcom BCM5720 and BCM5719 with ESXi 5.5.0 build 1623387.

Both servers have been working well for a year with a few reboots without problem.

Today, I wanted to upgrade to Esxi 5.5.0 Update 2.

I ve downloaded iso 2D ESXi 5.5 updated.

I pass the first server.

When I tried to upgrade the second server, I had when first starting, an error message: no adapter compatible network found.

So I cancel the installation, remove the USB and charge it (no update was made)

Now the server always give me the same message.

Then I don't understand what is happening and why my server won't start?

Any help appreciated

Best regards

Christophe

  • Vostro 460 found network card Code 31 need to reboot 3 to 4 times

I have 10 Vostro 460 s, network cards themselves not at startup.  You must restart the systems 3 - 4 times to get Windows to find network cards.  All the drivers are up to date.  This may be related to a Windows update, because the machine were very good for a month or two until an update is released.

We have the same problem.  3 of the 11 Vostro 460 lack of NIC I totally agree with jason629. Call Dell for a new MB or get a new network card. I spent hours and hours to try to update the bios/driver, restart, unplug, reset MB, shaking. I ended up getting new network cards.

Disappointed. Quailty of Dell is downhill.

  • BIOS error 104: network card not supported after the update of the bios, HP G60

Recently, my hard drive has begun to fail. I bought a new drive, installed a Windows 7 ISO on a flash drive, installed etc. I have a HP G60-237NR. I have reinstall everything, and then I went to the page of the drivers for my laptop. I started to install stuff, at that time there I was bored so I'd sort of from the bottom to the top if this order of the questions, I can give more details on that if I need to. I downloaded the BIOS update, because I thought that "good, he he listed for my computer, I have no doubt it needs to be updated since my laptop like 6 years. Flashed the BIOS, my computer shut down and restart didn't like I thought he was supposed to. I turned on and well 'device 104 - unsupported of detected wireless network. System stopped. Remove device and restart. "I tried to find out what to do, which told me to remove the network adapter, the bios downgrade, plug it back and you're good. Well, I unplugged my network card and the snap-snap-in two sons who attaches and restarted, he did all the stuff. I got the same error. EDIT: I meant I plugged my network back in, but still got the error. Where I had the clichés about evil, I passed the clichés and double checked the connections maps, but still nothing. Everything I found said that should have worked, I'm on the same version of the BIOS, I started with that, but it does not recognize my network card. What am I doing here? Please help, thanks.

    Hello

When you have the outside wireless card, you have the error?

If this isn't the case, then you can get necessary to replace the wireless adapter. I would not be able to explain how, but something may have cause to fail.

You can find maps of replacement of support on page 16 Chapter 4 of the Guide Service and Maintenance for your laptop.

    I hope this helps.

  • NETWORK card not detected after installing ESXi 4.1?

    Hi all

I installed the ESXi Server 4.1 on a single server with the following configurations,

    CPU = Intel (R) CPU Xeon X 3430 @ 2.40 GHz

    Memory = 16GB

    NIC = Intel 82574 L Gigabit Network connection-2 no

After that ESXi installation a NIC card not detected. But two cards network is the same configuration. Due to this problem, I can not configure grouping of NETWORK cards. Please suggest me. Thanks in advance.

    Hello!

On the screenshot that you are using a motherboard Intel S3420GP. Just a NETWORK card is 82574L, the other on board is a 82578DM, which is not supported. So you will need additional network cards.

    See you soon,.

  • Network name not found between 2 XP Pro computers. Just stopped working

I have a computer network that has worked successfully for several years and stops suddenly. The only thing I can think of that changed is that I have installed the "critical" updates that windows recommended I have install. I don't know that's the problem that I didn't test the network for several days before or after the installation, but it can be an important clue

my network seems to be still intact, as I can ping and access any computer manually via the IP (\\192.168.1.x), but I can't access or their ping more than name (\\computer_1). All my shared drives and printers to refer to names of computers for their ports. None of the networked computers appear in the network neighborhood with the exception of the computer I'm working on.

Thinking it was simply a problem of firewall/virus protection, I have disabled all of this on both xp computers, but it made no difference. The kicker is that Mac computers can still access the printer shared by computer name. The problem seems to lie between the two xp computers.

All the obvious print and file sharing settings have been verified to be correct. I even went as far as to set up the network again, that made no difference.

Two xp computers revealed FALSE when I checked who was the master browser, so I changed my desktop to TRUE to indicate that as long as the master browser.

On my network, I have 2 MAC OSx 10.5 and 2 windows xp pro SP3. Mac can still access shared printers, computers XP cannot...

    Hello

If the AV Firewall is 3rd party costume Disable them can still block LAN traffic.

Try the following on each computer.

    WinSock and TCP/IP update.

Type Cmd in the search text box.

Press Ctrl-Shift-Enter keyboard shortcut to run a command as administrator prompt.  Allow the elevation.

Type netsh winsock reset at the command prompt and press the Enter key.

The same processes to refresh the TCP/IP replaces the command typed with.

    netsh int reset Press enter

    ipconfig/flushdns press Enter

  • After a reboot, none of the usb ports work and USB problems-uninstalled USB Ports

I just bought a Seagate external drive, but none of my usb ports work. I looked into it and followed what it says on the uninstall of my USB ports, bad move on my part. Now, after a reboot, no usb port works, I've tried all microsoft support said to do and nothing seems to work. I think I need to reinstall my usb root hub? Perhaps, but I can't seem to find anyway to do. Help, please!

    Hello

Check the status of the device in Device Manager. Follow the steps for the same thing:

    a. click on start

    b. click Run, in the Run dialog box type devmgmt.msc

    c. in the Device Manager window, locate the USB key and expand the drive, double-click the sub element to check if an error message or error code is listed.

If there is no error message highlight Bus USB controllers and then click Action select check for material changes.

  • Wireless card not found after installing win7

    Hello

I reformatted my Dell Vostro 360 desktop all-in-one computer last night and then I tried to install all the drivers. Initially when I inserted the disc, any driver is checked which means that they have detected the material. Then I tried to install them one by one, but when I tried to install the driver from chipset wireless its not ticked more and can not be installed.

    Help, please. Thanks in advance.

    Get your drivers here:
    FTP://FTP.Dell.com/pages/drivers/Vostro-360.html

Install them in the order (according to Dell):

Start with the installation of the system.  Restart the computer after each successful installation if she asks you or not.

  • Extremely slow WRT54G navigation pages @ 192.168.1.1 - this could be a problem with network card?

Friend of mine is having the problems of Internet connection on his main PC which is hard wired to the router, it is using Comcast cable (18Mbit) and all of a sudden today the speed fell to dialup speeds, literally, however its ONLY this main with the issue of speed pc, there are 2 other computers connected wirelessly to the router, and they run at full speed during the test on speedtest.net

Solve the problem, I tried bypassing the router and still have the issue of speed, so I can pretty much rule out the router, but as part of my troubleshooting whenever I try to access the router configuration pages via 192.168.1.1 but it is VERY slow to respond.

For example when hitting enter after typing 192.168.1.1 it takes about 45 seconds to view the router configuration page, and then clicking on any other tabs takes 30-45 seconds longer to respond.

So my main question with this post, is it possible that its network card went bad? What would cause really slow access to the configuration of the router?

The PC is under Win 7 Ultimate 32 bit and Ive tried to run the network troubleshooter, uninstalled the network card in Device Manager / reinstalled the drivers but nothing seems to work.

I also ran Malware Bytes and the analytical results were clean.

    Any ideas appreciated!

can you 'borrow' a card? This is the only way to be sure, eliminating hours of trial and error procedures. one of the mega electronic stores is a good source, if it solves your problem you keep the card, otherwise there is the option to return

  • Can the server PowerEdge T110 II add a network card?

    Hello

I need an additional NETWORK card for my T110II but it does not detect a TP-LINK TG-3468 PCI-express card.

Start the server, but I do not see the screen of boot rom (bios Integrated NIC) and Windows do not detect the new device.
The T110II do not recognize a card RAID SATA AS-Rock with boot rom too.

I think that the problem comes from the boot of these PCI-e cards rom. Is there a solution to detect these cards?
Or you know a network card compatible cheap gigabit?

I already asked my country DELL support, and I have no answer.

    Thank you

Sorry for the questions in the NETWORK card getting to work.  The system will certainly take additional network cards, the T110 II 4 PCIe slots:

    Two x 8 slots (one with x 16 connectors)

    One x 4 slot (with x 8 connector)

    A x 1 slot

The integrated port is the Broadcom® BCM5722 gigabit Ethernet card.  When it comes with Dell servers and 3rd-party cards, questions may arise if you have a network adapter that is certified to work with the device.  Dell cannot support the cards that are valid and tested within the server.

A very common that we see added to the system is the Broadcom 5709, NIC PCIE4 Dragonfly.  The card is popular because it can be associated with the on-board.

About your SATA RAID card, questions are the same it regarding uncertified maps.

Lastely, I would make sure you have cards in cracks, here is the link to the manual, System 68 page has details about the locations specific PCIe priority and system information

Network interface seems to have gone wrong on one of my systems. Had comcast out watching some packet loss and we have started seeing losses of packages ranging from a computer to the router. Day after his departure, he simply stopped ping anything.

Stopped by bestbuy today and picked up a new NIC $ 20, but when I went to only install, no go... New PCI card and this computer (Pavilion special edition, but who knows what's really inside) has only these few slots long 3/4-to 1-inch that a card can go in. A video card uses plus a slot I.

  • Adding a second NETWORK card on the server HP Proliant ML 350 G5

I have a new HP Proliant with a guest of Windows 2008.  HP came with two network cards on the MB.  I need double-home this box on both networks, at least for a while, and this server will be the only road between subnets.  It's just a stand-alone installation inset.

I looked in the settings of the BIOS on the HP and it's a little confusing, but I'm sure that the second network card is active (it lights up when it is plugged).  When I try to add a NETWORK adapter to the configuration of the host, it is as if the second NETWORK card is not present.

My question is what is the best way to add this second NETWORK adapter and how do I do that?

I'll need access to the host of the VI Client on both networks - at least for a while.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you go to configuration-card network in the vSphere client is the 2nd NETWORK card that there are listed?  If ESXi is able to recognize the NETWORK adapter (or other people that you add) they should appear in this list without any config changes and be ready for use.

What kind of networks are you fill?   If one is considered not secure you could be better not add a management on this network port and prefer to have access via a VPN VM or a secure hosted VM / dual.
