    Hi Susan,.

Can you please check if the creative cloud synchronization is on?

If this is the case, it must create a folder on your computer with the name of "Creative cloud files.

You can then copy and beyond your Muse files in this folder and they will be automatically synced to your cloud storage.

    Hello

I'm trying to set a URL to be opened when the film ends.

I used the end of project option > open URL or file but it does not work.

The last slide in the movie running on empty, but the URL does not open.

What can be the reason for this?

In addition, I wish the film to close and the URL to open. How can it be done?

  • Workflow for multiple files .psd to enter the first form of layers - CC 2015

I need to import multiple files (30 +) Photoshop in first and keep the layers intact (for the basic animation).  I started to put in yesterday and someone, please tell me that there is a better workflow!

Here is what happens... I do a sandbox for images and make sure it is open (for all files go).  I go into the media browser and select the file (by selecting several files do not work - nothing happens).  I import that a TI asks if I want to merge layers.  I say 'no' and it is important the .psd as a new bin in my Sandbox to images and * open * the new bin.  I then click on the new tray to close, and then click on disable the tray (so the next file will not go in the bin).  Can I import, say 'no' to merge the layers, he brings as a new bin and * opens both * bins.  You see where I'm going with this, right?  Every time I have import a .psd must make the same choice to merge not (I couldn't find a preference to change it anywhere) and, if that weren't enough boring no, ALL .psd locations open when a new file is imported and so I have to manually, click to close them all before I can import another file.

How many clicks does take to get to the center of a Photoshop file?  A heck of a lot more than I want to click!

Is it possible to set the preference always import a .psd in layers?  And if not (I will file an application as soon as POSSIBLE) is it possible to prevent the .psd bins to open all the time?  It took me half an hour just click to get all of my images in.  It's not cool!

    Allynn

Import PSD is one at a time, I'm afraid.

  • BUG: Open with option missing for M4A / ALAC files (OSX)

I just discovered this bug incredibly frustrating just starting to work with M4A / ALAC (Apple Lossless Audio aka) files. Right click on a such file and by going to the "Open with" menu, hearing is absent from the list. However, manually opening the same file via by dragging the icon of the hearing or the program while open, or even via the command Open Audio in Audition all work fine. These M4A files are converted directly from iTunes. This forum works hearing CC 2014.

After some research, I found out the reason why. The file Info.plist inside the Audition.app-> content file is apparently not a section of CFBundleTypeExtension for M4A files. Open that file and search for "CFBundleTypeExtensions." You will see a bunch of entries for this type. In fact, this piece of information tells OSX what file extensions/types can open hearing.

Example of the type of mp3 file:

    < dict >
    < key > CFBundleTypeExtensions < / key >
    < table >
    < string > mp3 < / string >
    < / array >
    < key > CFBundleTypeIconFile < / key >
    < string > au_document_secondary_mp3.icns < / string >
    < key > CFBundleTypeName < / key >
    MP3 Audio file < string > < / string >
    < key > CFBundleTypeRole < / key >
    < string > editor < / string >
    < / dict >

So the next logical step, I created a duplicate just below it to M4A:

    < dict >
    < key > CFBundleTypeExtensions < / key >
    < table >
    M4A < string > < / string >
    < / array >
    < key > CFBundleTypeIconFile < / key >
    < string > au_document_secondary_m4a.icns < / string >
    < key > CFBundleTypeName < / key >
    Apple MPEG-4 audio < string > < / string >
    < key > CFBundleTypeRole < / key >
    < string > editor < / string >
    < / dict >

Save the file, restart the computer or rebuild Launch Services database and restart OSX and viola, now when right click on a file M4A, hearing is an option!

What I want to know from the Adobe developers is, why is this update option missing in the menu 'Open with' first and will it be fixed for the hearing?

We record every extension we can open.  Many of the extensions that we support are "discovered" during the launch at various libraries installed and plug-ins, we wonder what they take over.  For example of formats supported by QuickTime may change with different QuickTime components install you, and the formats supported by AudioToolbox can change with versions of Mac OS X.

The extensions that we even do not match in the dialog below.

That being said, we can by adding *.m4a to our default plist.

  • Put links to video files in web pages - want option 'Open with' when the viewer clicks on the links.

If I go to a video file that is stored in my computer, for example xyz.mp4 and right click on it, one of the options is 'Open with' and several options for example QuickTime player, RealPlayer are presented for me to choose. But when I add the file to a web page and create a link to it for example http://sillyvideos.com/xyz.mp4 and then I right click on this link (on the web page) in my Firefox browser, I don't get the option 'open with '. My question is: is it possible to put a link to a video in a web page, so I or other viewers can click right on it and benefit from the option 'open with' (so we can choose the drive to open it, without having to download first in our computers)?

Normally what happens, is that the server sends the content with one or more headers that dictate what Firefox did with the video.

For example, if the content is sent with a header that Firefox can play internally, then Firefox can open the video in a tab and use a built-in player. You can see with MP3s when the server says that it is "audio/mpeg" content. However, if the server sends a content type that a capable of handling plugin, Firefox can attempt this plugin.

Normally Firefox will assume that the content is meant to be displayed in the browser, unless it is an unknown type or has a content-disposition header set to "attachment". In these cases, Firefox usually has open/save/Cancel dialog box.

I don't know what kinds of choices you want to offer visitors to your site, but if you thought giving them a choice of the players external , sending to content-disposition: attachment to make appear the probably the most logical open/save/Cancel dialog box. With smaller files such as JPEG and PDF, I did it with a script on the server side (for example, a PHP script). I don't know if the script would work with multimedia files.

If you want to provide more choices, you might need the buttons or links in the page.

This example applies to a PDF file, but the same idea applies to the image files and it can work with files more mainstream media. (In this case, you change the script to specify the correct content type.)

Implementation of the PHP approach, you follow these steps. This assumes that your server supports PHP (most do so) and that your Web host allows you to download PHP files.

    (1) save the following as getpdf.php file

    http://www.jeffersonscher.com/RES/getpdf.php.txt

    (2) using a FTP software or your server download function, copy getpdf.php into the same folder as your PDF file

    (3) test with your link. In the address bar, or in an e-mail, insert the following text before the name of the PDF file:

    getpdf.php?f=

Thus, for example, this direct link to the PDF:

    http://www.jeffersonscher.com/RES/Mixed_Content_Blocking.PDF

would become this link to the PHP file:

    http://www.jeffersonscher.com/RES/getpdf.php? f =Mixed_Content_Blocking.pdf

  • Open Firefox Windows Media Player for video files

I need to make Firefox to open the actual Windows Media Player application (not a plugin, the window real app) when clicking on video links, for example, WMV. These file types are already associated in Windows Explorer with WMPlayer, but this has no effect on Firefox.

What happens now is that, after you have clicked on a video, I get a screen black with yellow icon of VLC Player (VideoLAN VLC installed on my PC) in the Center and no video. I don't want to launch VLC or internal plug-ins.

You can change the type of application opens for each kind of type in Firefox options.

  • Files opened for Photosmart .albm

How to open the many. ALBM files, I created with Photosmart Essentials v3.5 now that it's been replaced?

    Hello kurtsimon,

I understand that you do not want to open the file .albm photo that you saved when using HP Photosmart Essential v3.5. After some extensive research I found some possible solutions for you. Please, take a look below:

1st recommendation found by Member of the @Strobtech community

    (1) rename the extension of .albm in .zip file (as shown in a previous post).

    (2) download/install http://7-zip.org/ 7zip software is open source, but the punch more extraction which is integrated in Windows 7.

    (3) open 7zip and extract the file you just rename it with a .zip file extension.  Extract all, pay attention to the location of the folder where you extract the files so that you can navigate to it in the next step.

    (4) navigate to the folder where you extracted your files in step 3, and you should see a subfolder named 'ImagesStore' and a subfolder named 'PagesStore '.  Are you interested in the folder "ImagesStore".

    5) click on the "ImagesStore" folder and you will see many folders named "ImageStore 1", "ImageStore 2", "ImageStore 3", and so on.»»»

    6) click on the folder 'ImageStore 1', and you should see several files, one is named something like "BitsStream".  Rename this file "001.jpg".  Now click the 'ImageStore 2' folder and rename the "BitsStream" file located here "002.jpg".  Continue on the same way through all your folders 'ImageStore X' and you will now have the jpg file that you can view, copy, and paste.

    (7) If you do not want to make things a bit easier once you have renamed all the files, you can search for *.jpg files, copy and paste them to a new location, you can finally have a record of all these pictures, you now have access to.

    2nd recommendation community member @matchbox20gal

    1. go on the freeware Konverter site, select the Windows File Manager to display, organize, convert all kinds of files free 15 days Trail Konverter edition

2 once installed on the left hand side, you can browse the .albm folder, clicking on it opens the folder in a preview window

    3. right click on the file to extract the files

    4. it automatically converts them in .jpeg format (in the same folder where is the original .albm folder)

I gave you the Konverter option in the second place, it is some customers said it worked, and some were not able to get the free track. It's to you which way you want to go, please let me know if this was helpful.

    Thank you
