  Hi all

  I have configured the VCS with 3 endpoints SX20, I red that I can make the conference with up to 4 participants.  It told me that I can "bind" these 3 points of termination and to a conference with 12 people, is it true?

  You can do variations of the above, but no matter how you do it, it will be not very nice.

  Much better solution would be to use a correct MCU, if you do not want to invest in your own, a hosted service would be a very good option.

• ENDPOINT WITH THE OPTIONKEY MULTISITE (HELP)

  I have endpoint with a multisite option key registered to a VCS I do not control. When I signed up for the VCS with the endpoint with the option key of a different endpoint on the same subnet as I can not however, connect when I unregister endpoint with the down option of VCS, I can connect to this endpoint with no problem with an another endpoint. When I re - register endpoint with the option key pressed to the VCS I can not connect. My Network guy looked at the packages and told me that the first package of the endpoint that I use to connect to the endpoint with the option key send a packet to 1720, and then all the other packets are sent to the VCS I do not control. Sent VCS deny. Trying to find out why the endpoint that I use to connect to the endpoint with him becomes key option refuse SCVS.

  I think you're mixing a whole bunch of information that eventually causes you confusion.  There are two elements in play in your example.  To try to make it simple

  1. a license on a multisite endpoint (which allows you to make several simultaneous calls) through your call control mechanism chosen

  2. a call control mechanism being 'direct' or through the VCS.  You can have the two 'direct' and a 'VCS/guardian' in game at the same time.

  The best solution to your problem would be to talk to the one who manages the VCS you don't control and asking them to allow the 2nd endpoint to register as well - this way, your two units will be able to call each other, and one with the multisite license will be able to call several other end points at the same time (using its multisite license).  According to what other infrastructure is connected to the VCS managed externally, there may be other benefits to do so (calling other end points registered, the external call, managed directories, MCU, TCSes, etc. If they are available).

• Client Windows 7 Professional DNS fails to resolve the name - when connectin to a Windows Server 2003

  A professional Windows 7 workstation is unable to resolve the name when connecting to a Windows Server 2003 server.

  I ran the Portqry tool and discovered a problem with the Port 53 and open this Port in the Windows Firewall on the client and Windows Server 2003.  However, it may not always resolve the name and I can't get the Windows 7 workstation to join the domain.

  Our DNS server is at the ISP, but enabled DNS on Windows Server 2003.  I can ping the IP address of the server from the Windows 7 client

  nslookup is solved using the FULL domain name.

  Any ideas on other settings, I need change and port that I need to open to allow?

  Ah. If you are on a corporate BES and you cannot change the option so a COMPUTER policy is on the phone that prevents you from disabling the option.

• Move the point of origin when you use the scale tool

  Can someone tell me if it is possible to move the point of origin when you use the scale tool? By default, when I change by dragging an anchor of the corner, the opposite corner is used as the origin. Ideally, I would like to to scale using an origin that is biased, I can specify sort. I know that you can do during the rotation, but I was not able to determine if this goal is achievable during the measurement. I use Illustrator CC 2015.3.1 and Mac.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Click where you want the origin to be. Or move the reticle. Exactly the same as with the rotation tool.

• Export of Photoshop CC: unable to paste text in file name when exporting

  Recently I tried to paste in some text my Clipboard file name when the "export as" in Photoshop and paste functionality does not seem to work at all, BUT if I use 'save for web', I can paste the text in the file name my Clipboard without problem. Not sure if this is a bug or intentional? Either very frustrating. Help, please.

  I have noticed this problem using export as on the CC 2015.1.2 with my Mac.

  Thanks for posting the CREATE TABLE and INSERT for the sample data.

  Don't forget to post the exact results you want from these sample data.  If the results depend on the parameters you want to pass a run time, then give a few different examples, with the the desired results of each.

  You can hardcode the values you want, such as the column names in a query.  For example:

  Since soa suite managed server is configured with the virtual host name, the wsdl file is accessible only by using their virtual hostnames (SOAHOST1VHN1 & SOAHOST2VHN1) and load balancer url. Access WSDL using the physical hostname soahost1 would result in "Page not found" error. Why Jdeveloper isn't able to wire bpel with webservice component.

  We currently have two independent sites, each with their own MCU (MCU 8500 and a MCU 4505), several points of endpoint and VCS ExpressWay infrastructure management (TMS). Currently, we are creating a conference in each site that has the MCU on the other site as a participant. It's not ideal because we get several images in the image, especially when you use a format of 7 + 1 split for each MCU.

  What is the ideal way to handle this? The options I can think of are:

  1. Have every endpoint call an MCU instead to use both.
  2. Use a format full screen instead of 7 + 1 split.
  3. Place all the VC infrastructure in to a TMS win something?

  Hi Mark.

  1. ask to all the endpoints call an MCU instead to use both.

  This will fix the problem of page layout that you face and you can use all the features of conference as control of floor etc.

  Disadvantage will be the consumption of bandwidth, every EP of another site will consume call bandwidth, if 5 Ep calling another MCU @ 1 mb, then you will need 5 MB for confrance.

  If you have enough bandwidth it will be the right option.

  2 use a format full screen instead of 7 + 1 split.

  Advantage for this config is 1 MB to call far you need to finish MCU form local MCU.

  Disadvantage - layout.

  3. put all the VC infrastructure in the TMS win something?

  Nothing.
