No previews in navigator, library and printing module

This week my office has been updated with new patches to win 10, the next day, that I updated Lightroom CC to the latest version.  Since then my previews (thumbnails) have all disappeared, and I see only gray thumbs.  In the browser's view only a black spot, and there is no image in the print module either (just a black rectangle)

I have delete my file previews, has opened a new catalog, reinstalled LR (both with en deleted saved preferences), deleted my preferences...  Without success.

Suspect a card (Nvidia GTX 570) video driver problem, I updated that too with no success

I am running out of ideas and I'm getting desperate.  So any idea is welcome!

Peter

Most likely, the Windows Update has replaced your monitor profile with profile of the defective/corrupted monitor manufacturer.

Setting the monitor to sRGB profile should solve the problem, but ideally you should calibrate the monitor with a standard material, which will produce a profile that accurately describes your monitor.

Press the Windows key + R, type colorcpland press ENTER.

Add the sRGB profile, and then set as default profile. See screenshot (from Windows 7) below.

If this solves the problem, you ideally need to calibrate your monitor with a standard material.

  • BW Images in lightroom CC different 2015 between library and develop modules

    Hello

I have a strange problem with black and white images with different gamma between library and develop the module.

Here is a screenshot of the library:

    BW_Library.JPG

    And develop:

    BW_Develop.JPG

As you can see, very black blacks lost completely all the details in the develop module.

    Anyone have an idea why?

    With sincere friendships.

When Library and Develop appear differently, it is always due to a broken monitor profile.

Test title, set monitor to sRGB profile in your computer's operating system.

    See http://www.lightroomqueen.com/articles-page/how-do-i-change-my-monitor-profile-to-check-wh ether-STI-corrupted /

If this solves the problem, calibrate your monitor with a standard material. (which is something you should do anyway)

    Camera Nikon D750

When you export to JPEG image has the same appearance as the rendering in the library Module - with the help of the external viewer for the file exported

This creates problems as the develop module, is where you can make the adjustments most of development

In general library module is overexposed and overly yellow compared to the develop Module

This problem occurs with both files JPEG and NEF (Raw) files and is not unique to the files of a camera

Other users I've talked to have not reported a difference bewteen visible 2 modules? old version of the software if

I am aware that I look at the preview images when using RAW files

It is very difficult to develop pictures when what you see is not what you get export

While I will be material calibrate my monitor soon it clearly isn't a fix for this problem that I do the comparisons on the same screen

I can only assume that this is a recent bug that there is no obvious reason to have 2 different renderings of the image

Anyone solved the problem? Is put there I missed? Is there a solution?

While I will be material to calibrate my monitor soon

Go ahead and do it now, you probably have a broken monitor profile.

As troubleshooting and as a temporary solution, you can set the monitor to sRGB profile.

If the problem disappears, the monitor profile is the problem.

Could you please close Lightroom once and then reopen it.

It could be a problem where previews in Lightroom are not up-to-date.

Please let us know if it helps.

  • Why Navigator goes to solid color when I go to print Module?

It seems that, in my state of sleep, I managed to change a setting somewhere.  I am sure that the browser used to display the effects of changes made to the print settings that I made them.  It is normally done in the library modules and to the point, but loses the image (goes to the solid background color) when I go in the print Module.  It prints on paper or fine JPEG.

    Clues?

    (Lightroom 4, Windows 7)

    THX,

    John

The "Navigator" in the print module is labeled "Preview" and is supposed to

page layout (i.e. cells) only, without images.

  • Develop ratings affect Navigation in and library

Whenever I do "gestures" about the ratings, they are assigning stars a file or signage, navigation is affected.

Say that I have noted an image with four stars. Lightroom ahead the veiw to the next file in the film.

This navigation occurs in two library and develop modules.

How can I correct this situation?

    Thank you.

  • My Lr5.7.1 does not recognize my printer Epson XP-760 and after customize printing in the print Module, printing options (lower right AND Main Menu > Archive > print) are disabled

I am running Lr5.7.1 on an iMac, retina 5K (OS X Yosemite 10.10.1).) My printer (Epson XP-760) works fine with all other applications, but not with Lr! After choosing my printing preferences in the print Module, it works if I select print file and save it to the desktop and then return to preview and print from there. This is not what I want. I expect that the print button (bottom-right) should be disabled and not disabled and send to the printer directly from in the Lr print Module. It doesn't matter if the printer is turned on Wi - Fi or USB (or even both).

What is the problem? What else can you or should I do to make it work as I hope?

My Swedish is not good, but I think that you print on file. Did you try chaning where it says JPEG it changed printer?

You might also on 5.7. On Lr if you go to the Help\System of information, what is the version number? If she is 5.7, you're not on 5.7.1. Yo can still update manually, go to Adobe - Lightroom: for Macintosh: Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1, download the dmg and install.

  • Why print preview and print lose lines of text from the image to the screen in the browser

When I bring up (for example) a magazine article in my browser and you want to print it for future reference, print preview and printed image 'lost' lines of text between pages compared to the original image in the browser. For example: visit this link: http://www.pcauthority.com.au/Feature/408318, how-to-make-windows-admin-easy-with-powershell.aspx?eid=2 & edate = 20150828 & utm_source = 20150828 & utm_medium = newsletter & utm_campaign = weekly_newsletter & nl = weekly and select 'Print' from the menu. Print preview that appears - poster in portrait mode or landscape - loses one or two lines of text for the print version wraps useless. Where the missing text? pagination is not identical, and Firefox seems unable to handle it.

I use a HP desktop with Intel i7 CPU 8 GB of RAM and Win 7 Pro SP1. Firefox is V40.0.3

I do not see "imposed by the system of page breaks" encoded in this Web page. It would be difficult for an author of a Web page with an international audience.

You use A4 paper, but what about those of us using letter-size paper? Page breaks may screw up page print to LETTER, from a Web site to THE like this.
And what about the 'zoom' different levels? For printing which is called scale preview of Firefox and Page Setup print.
I put systematically "modest" when printing to save paper, to keep the last page to only a few lines, or when the font size in print preview is too great (IMO) for printing on paper. And the size of police appeared to have worsened as monitor resolutions have gotten larger over the years.

The only time wherever I lost lines of text between printed pages was when I was "pushing the limits" with the paper up and down / page margins. IOW, too small header / footer trying to get on each page as possible. By default, Firefox a. 5 "margins (left and right) with. 5 "header / footer (top and bottom margins) = letter-size paper. With 'A' type of paper using metric would be tantamount to the margins of 12.7 mm on all four sides. The /metric of inches "toggle" is with the size of the paper, the user has selected.

Check the Page > margins & header / footer to see if you have the parameters of ~ 12mm or it they are smaller.

    Hello

Are you referring to the eprint & all in one apps for android?

Please make sure you have the right selected and that all other paper size and paper type settings are correct.

Another option is to download the plugin from HP for android (you must also enable it in Settings download afte) and try to print that way. Once downloaded and activated, you should have the ability to print photos directly without going through the applications.

  • Lightroom's print module does not

I recently "upgraded" to the last 2015.5 of Photoshop and the 2015.6 Lightroom.   By the way my PC charge apparently automatically updates Windows 10.

Since then, the print module is malfunctioning.

-When I go to the library or the print module development module, the image that is displayed is NOT selected.  It's a picture randomly but in the same region of catalog.

-During that photo the is displayed in the print module IS correct, printing resulting is an image at random.  Weird.

-When it does print not (the false image) is VERY, VERY slow.

Help please!   I've got pictures to print.

    Kim Nicholas

One thing I notice from your screen-clip: you are trying to print photos 10 432!  Really?

Check out your options below the print window to use "Selected pictures" or "all the pictures of the film.

See if that makes a difference.
