No Satellite P100 - 10 p supports an nVidia 7900 GTX or edition GS
Hello
I just bought this laptop very well and I can't express my satisfaction, I'm with the machine. Only the question you.
The graphics in the world says that it is a nvidia go 7900 with 512 MB of DDR3 memory. Is this a 7900 GTX or editing GS?
Because I can't find the card of 512 Go 7900 GS anywhere I assume it is a GTX model.
Am I wrong?
Hello
As you say the Satellite P100 - 10 p PSPAGE shipped with the NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 graphics card. I found a more details and it seems that this card has a code name; G71M.
So it s definitely a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900 GS
Maybe an additional info: this card supports a 512 MB GDDR3 memory (dedicated).
Hope I could help ;)
Best regards

Why nvidia 7900 GPUs is not available in the p100 to the United Kingdom? Europe & Middle East the 7900gs is available in the continent. The 7900 gtx in the States is available.
Why?
Hello
I put t believe that it of not possible to buy a P100 with the graphics card Nvidia 7900 to the United Kingdom. If you can't buy it forms mobile phone dealer in your city, so I'd check the shops online cell phone.
I studied a little bi and found these P100 units with the graphic card nVidia 7900.Satellite P100-426; P100-194; P100-191; P100-196; P100-215; P100-222
I found three different cards which were delivered with the P100:
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7900; GeForce Go 7600 and Intel 945GM ExpressAnyway, the P100 is a new laptop and eventually you can't buy it in every store, but in my opinion several times this unit should be available in the United Kingdom with the GeForce Go 7900

Satellite P100 - 286 PSPAG: need new nVidia 7900 GS driver for Vista
As with a number of other posters I've read, the graphics performance on my P100 with a nVidia GeForce Go 7900 GS are not good on Vista 32 bit. Frequent stuttering after a few moments of reasonably moderate use.
The latest driver on the Toshiba site is only 9748 since 15/03/07 and the nVidia site does not provide for the 7900 GS Go Vista drivers.
laptopvideo2go site appears to be in trouble at the moment, but some drivers tried it with no difference in performance in any case.
Any suggestions? Does anyone know if Toshiba are planning to make a new Vista driver anytime soon? Is this typical Vista teething probs, and I have to just wait until SP1 later in the year?
The P100 is a computer laptop, nice, but being paralyzed at the moment by the graphics card.
Hello
I noticed that some users have reported a graphic stutter only while playing games.
But after installing Windows XP graphic stuttering is gone!I also read on the results of 3DMark and Win XP gets much better results under Win Vista. I think that the most important reason is that Vista needs a lot more material resources as first Microsoft OS.
In any case, I think that the first service pack for Vista Microsoft will increase the performance of Vista and games will run smoothly.

Satellite P100-208 does support 64-bit processing?
Nice day.
I wonder if my Toshiba Satellite P100-208 can support a 64-bit (Windows Vista) operating system? I currently have XP 32 bit.
[Here are the specs of the computer laptop. | http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/jsp/SUPPORTSECTION/discontinuedProductPage.do?service=UK&DISC_MODEL=0 & ACTION = PRINT_WITH_BACK & com decided .do w .broadvision = Yes & PRODUCT_ID = 122152]Also, if I change XP to Vista, where can I find the Vista drivers for my laptop? It is set up with XP when I bought it, but it has a sticker that says "Windows Vista capable".
Hello!
As said by Akuma, the installed T5500 CPU supports 64-bit processing and so you can install a 64 bit OS.
But for Vista 64-bit, you must find other sites of pilots as on the Toshiba Web site are only 32-bit Vista drivers available.
It takes a little time to find all the drivers work.Good bye

Satellite P100-429 does support the 5-in-1 card reader?
IM wanting to buy a new laptop computer and is came through the "Toshiba Satellite P100-429'." It's the portable perfect! However, when I searched the internet for a detailed technical specification, I found that on pixmania.co.uk he states that there is no memory card reader:
http://www.Pixmania.co.UK/UK/UK/462038/art/Toshiba/Satellite-P100-429.html
Still other sites, he says that there is a 5-in-1 including Toshiba card reader themselves. It is therefore possible to have the same laptop model but with a different specification? or is it a typo in the site of pixmania? Thank you
> is it possible to have the same laptop model but with a different technique
Of course, many laptops in the same series were delivered with different hardware specifications it is nothing unusual. For example, the dvi video port, express card slot or the married media card slot are available on some models.
I would trust the Web from Toshiba site and this model should support housing ExpressCard and a PCMCIA Type II slot.
The slot SD, Compact Flash Card slot card and smart card reader are not available on this model -

Would it not possible to Flash my motherboard with the firmware of another model of laptop computer? Or is there a BIOS update in the near future that will allow me to make use of my full 4 GB of RAM?
Hello
Normally, the Satellite P100-160 supports 4 GB of RAM. If you check the user manual, you can find this information it can be upgraded to 4 GB of RAM with two 2 GB memory modules.
Just a question: how much will be shown in the BIOS directly? He acknowledges the full 4 GB of RAM?
And don t forget you can only use 4 GB of RAM with a 64 bit OS. If you use 32-bit OS, you can only use up to 3.2 GB of RAM.
Have you installed Linux 64-bit version? -

Satellite P100-324 - network card losing connection
Hi all
I'm a new user here, I have a * Toshiba Satellite P100-324 * with Window XP - 32 bit Media Center Edition.
I have problems with my network card that seems to me to lose the connection network and need to reset the IP (repair) every time than in quite awhile to find the connection. What do you suggest to me what is the problem? A hardware problem or a software (driver)?
Thank you in advance.
Hello
At the moment it is not easy to say what is the reason for this, it could also be a problem of the cable network.
Did you check this first with another cable? If you have determined that the cable is not defective, you should try to update the network adapter driver. The latest version which is pre-tested on your laptop is that you can find on the Toshiba site:
http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com-online decision-making supported Downloads & => Download driversDo you have other laptops or computers connected to the router? Maybe the problem is the router

Need graphics drivers for my Satellite P100 WXP
Hey,.
not sure if I'm good sector. I have the Satellite P100 T5200 I recently installed Windows XP SP2 home edition. It came with Vista. I was not sent a driver CD, but I have managed to find most of them since the formatting of Vista, but I can't find a video driver. Thank you
Hello
Satellite P100 laptop computers were shipped with different hardware specifications!
You check the full name for laptop (P100-xxx) and visit the Toshiba driver page.Choose the right laptop series (you can find the serial number on the label) and download the XP graphics driver for the graphics card right!
If you are not able to find the right graphic driver for XP, I would recommend research for a compatible graphics card manufacturing sites.
Good luck

Satellite P100 - nVidia Geforce Go 7600 graphics card crashed
Hello!
My graphics card is broken down, and after removing dozens of screws, I checked that it is not built into the motherboard. I could he dismantled after removing the screws of the bottom three.
-My laptop is a Toshiba P100-342 (PSPA3E-0QE038SP)
· Here you can see the model number: http://imageshack.com/a/img856/1917/6s6f.jpg
-The graphics card is a nVidia Geforce Go 7600.
· Here you can see on the motherboard: http://imageshack.com/a/img834/5825/ktl8.jpg
· And there, alone on the table: http://imageshack.com/a/img839/3525/6of6.jpg
· It's the nVidia chip: http://imageshack.com/a/img836/4343/q7lg.jpgResearch in the internet, I found just 1 card graph similar to mine. But I don't know if it will work, because I read that the devices must be exactly the same as the original:
c918 http://www.eBay.es/ITM/New-Toshiba-A000013050-NVIDIA-G73M-128MB-GeForce-Go-7600-Video-Graphics-Board-/360821279000?PT=PCC_Video_TV_Cards&Hash=item54029f & _uhb = 1
I asked the seller eBay on compatibility and his answer was: "Please contact Toshiba for the complete product compatibility." But Toshiba does not provide any support after the expiration of the warranty (in Spain).
Anyone replaced this graphics card? Do you think I should buy the graphics card of this ebay? Are there other solutions? (for example: replacing the entire motherboard...)
Thanks a lot in advance.
I never had to replace a graphics card in a notebook, but I wouldn't buy any part if I m not 100% sure if it would be compatible with my laptop.
Is that SATELLITE P100-342 was equipped with a NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 (name of code G73M) PCI Express x 16 (GDDR2 dedicated 256 GB RAM) graphics card.
The part on ebay supports 128 MB only and that's why I think that the two parties are not the same.
This might be the reason not to buy this piece.
