  Can you still use stars to rate songs in the music app?  That's how my itunes library is organized, and when I get new songs on my phone I would rate it.

  Yes, you can always classify a song with stars in the app music with iOS 9.2.   When you choose to start a song, the Miniplayer will appear.  Tap the song title to see the player Now Playing view (full-screen).  Tap the title again in this point of view and you will see five points.  Press the point that represents your side.  (Ex. If you type the fourth point, you will see four stars).

  The now playing view will remain open, it will be later songs of rate they play.  Pressing the arrow down in the upper left corner will take you back to the sight of MiniPlayer.

• iPhone 6 s think is store songs, but the music app does not work

  I've upgraded to an iPhone 6s, and I restored it to my backup so that all my contacts on my phone.

  I do not keep the music on my phone because it takes place, and I can just listen to my library of music to iCloud. However, each song that I play, my phone displays I'll keep the songs on my phone, but the music app always said that I don't have any songs downloaded on my phone. I'm especially worried about it because I had a problem with my previous phone where I didn't keep all the music on my phone, but for some reason any much space was taken over on my phone. I fear that my phone will fill with songs, but not recognize them (which can be irrational, but who knows). In any case, here are a few screenshots to show you what I'm talking about is about, what happens to someone else?

  So I discovered that after turning off "iCloud music library" under the "Music" tab in the settings, it displays much fewer songs on the 'About' page (although I still have none), and it showed that I had more than about 1 GB of storage space. So, I concluded that indeed, while I listen to music from my library iCloud, he should secretly Store songs on my phone (and perhaps easier streaming later?), and turn off streaming iCloud removes these songs. This is exactly what I wanted to know, but at least I can the hypothesis a little more on what iCloud music is streaming.

  If 'list of music' is your iTunes music library.  The playlist is simply a list of songs that are in your iTunes music library, you have chosen and placed in a desired order.  A song on the playlist cannot exist here if it is not in your library iTunes music.  If you delete a song on the playlist of your music library, it disappears from your playlist.

• System only through headphones - no music sounds. BUT... the music only through USB speakers. No system sounds. What is happening with this?

  I listened to the music on my computer through headphones regular plugged into the audio jack of 3.5 mm.  I could hear the computer through headphones - music, movies, YouTube, system sounds - everything.

  Then, I plugged my Microsoft Digital Sound System 80 speakers via the USB interface.  Windows XP found the speakers, loaded the right driver, gave me the message "your device is ready to use" and things started to play music that was running on the computer.  Sounds incredible.

  But now, I have a weird problem.  I can hear only the sounds system through headphones (beeps and dings that play during system events), but I can't hear the sound system on the USB speakers. AND... I can't hear the music/videos/YouTube, etc. on the speakers USB-interface, but I can't hear the sound system through the USB speakers.

  When I go to the audio tab of the sounds applet in the control panel and change the device for audio playback by default "SoundMAX HD Audio" to "Microsoft Digital Sound System", then I hear everything - system and all - sounds on USB speakers.  But then I hear anything through the headphones.

  I want to be able to Exchange music back to making the USB speakers.  How this is done?

  Yes, they are older speakers.  But they work a lot.  And the digital sound via the USB interface is excellent.

  The only option is to change the audio device by default for the device that you want to hear the audio.

  (a) click Start, click Control Panel, and then click sounds, speech, and Audio devices.

  (b) click on sounds and Audio devices, and then click the Audio tab.

  (c) in the sound playback section, under default device, make sure the audio device is the correct default audio device.

  (d) If this isn't the correct default audio device, click the drop-down list next to the device name, click the audio device you want, and then click OK.

  Change the audio device may require that restart you your computer.

• Listen to the music of background on phones (UC540)

  I have a client who has updated from an old Nortel Norstar to a UC540 system - staff used to listen to music on hold source through their phone on the sets of Nortel speakers, and they want to do this on the UC540 with the SPA phones.

  I saw a few old posts here asking this question even that have been left unanswered - I thought that I would ask the question to see if there was any new development.

  The music source is just a radio plugged into the external port of the Ministry of HEALTH.

  Please let me know if anyone has suggestions - or if it's a certain "can't do".

• iTunes songs on the iPhone only organized by artist

  My iPhone just 6Plus upgraded to the 10.0.1 iOS.  Now, my iTunes library shows only the songs organized by artist.  There is no way for me to change that.  I tried to connect my phone to my mac and change the 'View' to sort by the name of the song, but it still doesn't work.  No matter if I look at the songs or playlists, everything is sorted by artist name.  How can I change this?

  Settings > music > songs of sorting & Albums > choose "by title".

• car multimedia player does not display the titles of the songs as the music advances

  iPod nano plays until 2015 Chevrolet media player on the radio, properly displayed and all playlists. But as the songs to change track information does not work. Unless the player on the car is advanced manually and then the current song information is displayed while music plays. When the next song comes on the information does not. Any ideas out there? Restarted the nano and not help.

  With modern car audio systems, iPod is just acting as a storage device (as you connect a USB FlashDrive with music files).  The iPod is not determinative of the reading; the car audio system is to play music files.  So, I think that this problem is related to car audio system, not the iPod.

  I spent hours experimenting as WMA files will not play that have been ripped from my own CD using windows medial player 9 on the same PC.

  I finally found the answer - I need to uncheck the "copy protect music" in the tools/options - tab music copy in media player!

  I can't believe that the system is so sensitive and so poor error messages. I don't know how the box checked in the first place, but now I have to spend hours to re-rip my CD to put on my Surface! hum Ho!

  Try the following and leave the device to take half an hour or so to index all your songs:

  No data will be lost when you do the following: remove the battery while the device is activated.

  If your songs are located in the music, try the following to see if they can be used as ringtones.

  All songs >

  Scroll the list of the songs in the list. Highlight a track you have transferred and then select:

  Options > apply as > Ringtone

  If "apply as" is not on the list under 'Options', and then your piece may exceed the authorized k (size) by ATT.

  If "apply as" is on list under 'Options', follow the instructions below to set one as a ringtone ID:
