No sound in my account of personal connection but its in the guest account

I am getting no sound when I am logged into my staff/admin account, but works when I connect to the guest account

· What is the number and the model of the computer?

· Do you get any error message when you try to play any sound?

There seems to be problem with the settings of the user account.

Method 1:

Make sure that you have configured the audio device by default.

Follow these steps:

a. Click Start, click Control Panel and then click sounds, speech, and Audio devices.

b. click on sounds and Audio devices, and then click the Audio tab.

c. in the reading section of the sounds, under default device, make sure the audio device is the correct default audio device.

d. If this isn't the correct default audio device, click the drop-down list next to the device name, click the audio device you want, and then click OK.

e. change the audio device may require that restart you your computer.

    There is probably some software running which disables it.  Stuff as Java always calls the API legacy to draw graphics that allows Windows to the old mode rescue.

    If you click Start, and then type "Defender" Windows Defender should appear, from there, you can use the 'explore software' (under Tools) to try to disable all applications that are running on login.

  • Equium P200-1IR - wireless is connected but cannot access the internet

    Need a little help!

    I just bought an Equium P200 1IR.
    I activated the wi fi.
    I see my router which is Talk Talk.
    Can I get the laptop to connect to the router and it says I'm connected,
    However I can't access the internet.

    I tried the same process by inserting a WiFi dongle into the USB port
    on the laptop, and exactly the same thing happens.
    We have other home computers that connect to the router and the internet
    OK using the wireless dongle.
    I plugged a rigid cable between the laptop and the router connection and I can't
    access the internet immediately without any problem, however, would be delighted
    to use the wireless function.

    Any help really appreciated... Thank you

    You are trying to access WiFi through router?  If you are connected to your wireless network, but cannot access the internet, then the problem may be with the router.  Check that the router is connected to the internet.  If you have more than one router, then you can ensure that you are connected to the correct router.  You can also try unplugging the router for about 30 seconds, and then reconnecting it.  Please consult the following document, as it can help solve the problem for you:

    Well well, for some, strange / funny / slash reason I won't be able to understand, I followed all your instructions with no luck... but one night I fell asleep unplug the router of the AC and when I plugged the next morning, all the router settings were reset, as if I flashed. So now I can connect and surf the web. Is this problem comes back, I'll post another message.

  • I am connected but you get the error: "not connected - connections are available.

    I am able to connect to internet with my HP dm1-3025 x netbook (running Windows 7 Home Edition Premium, SSD 240 GB, 6 GB RAM) but will have the following problems.

    • It takes a long time to connect to a wireless network
    • "I get an error message that says: not connected - connections are available.
    • The network bars appear as grey with an orange asterisk on top

  • No sound on internet, youtube, facebook, etc. But its on itunes.

    I have no sound on the internet when I access youtube, facebook or anything on the web.  I can play dvd, itunes, the sound test.  I installed and re-installed all the plug ins, made sure the pilots were up-to-date.  I tried what I thought may work, but I'm looking for other answers.  I appreciate all the comments.

    Step 1: Looks like the setting of the mixer for your web browser is changed. To cross check if the settings are correct, try the following steps.
    a. open browser.
    b. click on the volume icon in the taskbar.
    c. click mixer.
    d. in the list of applications, make sure that the volume icon is not silent to your web browser. If he is silent, then turn it back on.
    e. check if the problem persists.
     
     
    Step 2: If you are using Internet Explorer, check if this option is enabled.
    a. Click Start, type "inetcpl.cpl" and press to enter.
    b. click on the Advanced tab.

  • computers shows no internet connection but can access the internet

    Lately, my internet has been slow. Also, I had problems to connect to some sites to download some updates and product registration. I'd get a message that there is no internet connection detected. That's when I noticed that the network icon would increase from 2 computers with a blue dot on them to just 2 computers. I checked my "network and sharing Center" and it showed that I am not connected to the internet (red x on the line between the network and internet connection)... I can still access the internet and navigate well. When I tried to diagnose and repair, I get this message.

    "You need to register with the provider of internet services of this network to have access to the internet" and below "connections to Web pages are currently redirected to a different Web page"

    "Click to open the Web page, if it is an Internet service provider registration page you can read the registration information."

    When I clicked and it took me to http://www.microsoft.com/en/us/default.aspx.

    I turned my modem and the new, and it seems to connect again. I just started experiencing this recently (in the last week).  Can someone help me solve this problem?

    He seemed to have solved the problem. I went into the Device Manager and disabled my network card and enabled then again. I'm also done to restore my system to the rear before the problem started then uninstalled and reinstalled NIS2011. I have not reinstalled IE9 yet. Thanks for the help

  • From high-speed wireless broadband with a cable modem, and shows the connection, but cannot access the web w / IE8

    I have Windows Vista, IE 8 and labtop HP Pavilion. I had just recently Cricket Wireless Broadband, with a USB wireless modem. I now have the Charter/Comcast broadband through my cable. The modem is connected to my PC via the Ethernet port. On the connection icon on the toolbar on the right down, it shows that I am connected. The "Local Area Connection Status" in the network and sharing Center seems to be connected, since bytes are sent and received.

    However, when I'm on IE8, it acts as if there is no connection. Not being able to view the web page. Also, now when I go to a local WiFi hotspot, I can't connect to a network, just as I always, and it shows that there is a link, however, it won't let me access the internet. It used to work, before everything first, I connected the cable modem.

    Any ideas? Thank you!!

    If the Cricket connection works correctly but your cable connection is not, which suggests the computer is set up correctly and the problem is with the cable connection. All other systems are able to connect through the connection of the Charter? If this isn't the case, please contact Charter and see if they are able to determine the issue on their end or help you reconfigure the modem.
