No sound on playback of music

problem is with my sound PLAYBACK and RECORDING of the recorder of sounds of windows and all other sound recorders that I install.   I get feed back, echo and reverb. In most applications, I get NO sound at all!

There is no microphone or line connected.

If you need more information to analyze this problem, let me know.

Try this then...

1. open Device Manager.

2. locate your audio driver.

3. right click and uninstall the driver.

4. go to the toolbar in the Device Manager and select "Search for hardware changes."

5 once completed, restart the laptop.

What doesn't work, try the same steps, but instead select "Search the hardware changes", try to use this download driver I've linked to you in the previous post.

Get back to me and let me know if any of these work for you.

  • Unable to hear sound during playback of music Web site Sampler

    Hello

I am unable to hear any sound when trying to listen to samples of music on Amazon (for example) and also to other sites. I activated the firewall to all players of the internet, which is launch and start playing, but there is no sound.

The volume is definitely on the speakers and I tried Windows Media Player and it plays radio and other music on my pc perfectly well. So I'm not sure about why I don't hear samples of music from websites now (I did in the past).

An example of a link that has sample music is http://www.amazon.ca/Madeleine-Peyroux-Careless-Love/dp/B0002NRRAG

Please can you let me know your opinion about this issue.

    Thank you

    Hello

Have you checked whether the volume control of the sound wave and audio devices has been updated with higher level?
This control is responsible for the volume of the music files.

  • Occasional buzzing sound during playback of music or new.

This past week I noticed a humming noise - like when I play music, movies or new videos. It's more than a distortion of the sound like Max Headroom, that a real buzz. And it is not steady, just casual.  It is a four years, Dell Studio XPS 435 t/9000 with Win7 Pro 64. The audio is an integrated RealTek chip, not his own card. I have added a second hard drive last week, but others that I did not any changes.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled audio drivers (twice).  I swapped the speakers.  I have downloaded and run the Dell Diagnostics software.   Nothing worked, it still happens. I'm puzzled. Anyone seen this before? Can it be fixed?

    Thank you

Thanks for the help, Jeeped. You're right in that it was probably a problem of resources.

I did as you suggested and turned off all non - Microsoft Services and startup applications. After the reboot, I did a sound check and everything was fine. Then I turned on four startup applications that I always use (Zone Alarm, Avast, battery backup Power Panel, Ad Fender), restart, and an audio verification. Still good.

Then I started by reactivating the Services that I knew I wanted, reboot, all still good. When previously they were ALL checked, now there was only about half checked, and everything was fine. Those that I left without control was for the most part, the automatic software updates that are always on and question updates in the background. Of course, these services were keeping busy and hogging the resources needed elsewhere.

So after a few reboots just to make sure that any change locked in, the sound was always clean. THEN I opened IE - 10, the browser that I use usually, and the distortion was back. So I closed and tried Chrome, and Firefox. None of these browsers created distortion. It was only IE - 10. I have certainly taken to heart your notion of "resources as long as the problem", I was thinking then that I had a bad IE-10 install, or something went wrong turned after an update. I checked my "use graphics" and IE - 10 was monopolizing everything.

I uninstalled IE10 down to IE - 9. No deformation. Then did an install of IE - 10 instead of a simple update of IE - 10. Who took care of her. Something in the update IE-10 has been the origin of the problem. It took a lot of work, but what was needed was a complete installation, not just an upgrade. After talking to a buddy of mine at work that sometimes help in our IT Department, he said several desktop computers have had the same problem, and they thought it was the 'upgrade vs install' fix a few weeks back.

I know this is a long answer, but I wanted to throw him out for you in case others run into the same problem and write about it. I can give more details if anyone wants them.

Thank you very much, you got me on the right track.

  • Tecra 8100: stutters during playback of music

    Hello

After installing Win2k on my Tecra 8100 each works fine but playback of music.
When play is a stutter, a clickening every 2 seconds.
It is a general problem, not a problem of the music program or file that I play (mp3).
It already starts with the beginning of Win2k jingle.

    Any ideas?

As far as I know that the device is supported for W2K Professional and if you have used all the drivers designed Toshiba it should not be a problem (if the hardware is not faulty). Please check with a helmet. It will be interesting to see if the problem persists.

Have you had it with previous operating system? Do you have it tested with a helmet too? Can you please post more than a few sentences? You already did some troubleshooting and what exactly?

  • Sound distortion while playing music on Satellite P100 - 465 PSPAD

I bought this machine last week only and on the very first day, I have noticed the sound distortion while playing music or games on it. Then I tried to use headphones (instead of Harmon Kardon speakers) to check if the sound card or speaker problem

But I found the same distortion in the headphones also which suggests that something is wrong with the system of the sound card. I have the sound chip of HD conexant for her.

  • No sound during playback of DVD in Windows Media Player

    1. No sound during playback of DVD in Windows Media Player.

Media Center recently stopped working altogether, the message alleges a solution will be found, but he never comes to the top with one and there seems to be no resolution right ahead of internet, I can see others too have a similar problem.

So I would try Media Player, no joy it is thinking.

It reads the dvd no sound, I go into options and make sure the external emu sound card is set, yes all well, but as soon as I put it on youtube videos sound turns off by train to play media player so a sort of conflict, if I close Opera / chrome browser and reopen his is back.

Update or reinstall the drivers for the sound card in Device Manager, checking the PC or Support Downloads Web page of the card for more recent or different driver.

Physically, reinstall the sound card to make sure that the contacts and the slots are clean and tight connections.

If you have an audio chip embedded, try to use it to compare.

Try the VLC media player to see if it has the same problem.

Have you updated flash player for your browser?

    Try another browser to compare.

  • The sound quality of ripped music is very poor

    Hi all

I have the Windows 7 operating system. I used the Windows Media Player installed to rip all of my old records, as I want to go completely digital and all of my music stored on portable hard drives.

    OT: Windows Media Player
The problem I have is that with CDs, the sound quality of ripped music is very poor, for example the singers voice can still be heard, but some background instruments can barely be heard or is not audible at all, drums are absent from some songs, guitar, organ or bass is absent from others. That leaves the music sound "tinny" without depth or wealth.
Is it possible that I can solve this problem?
    Thanks to you all.
    DavidS-13

    Hi David,

There are two ways to change the rip while settings in the Player library. You can insert a CD into your CD-ROM drive and click Rip settings, or you can click Rip music tab in the Options dialog box. The music tab Rip in the Options dialog box offers additional options that are not available in the Rip settings menu.

I suggest you to change the RIP settings and see if that helps.

  • Sound of the buzzing/stutters during playback and music or video

I've had this laptop for a few weeks now, and since I was a strange humming noise every time I play music or watch a video.

It seems as if the music made a break of about one second and made a HUMMING noise while doing so, then continues with music. It happens throughout the song/video.

I've updated all the audio drivers a lot of times as well as the graphics drivers, I can't update the chipset drivers as there is no new still

The strange thing, I found comparing my laptop to a friend, is that in my DEVICE MANAGER there are 4 high definition Audio devices shown Realtek + Bluetooth hands-free. I tried unistalling these so alone is there, but this does not solve the problem.

    I have:

    Windows 7 Professional 64 bit

    Realtek High Definition Audio

    NVIDIA GeForce 310M

    Chipsets Intel 5

    Thanks in advance =)
