No sounds dm1z-2100 windows XP

I have to stay on XP for now due to operational requirements.  Driver installation messages, etc. have been great and I was able to get about all this work.  The only exception is the audio. I was able to install the UAA Bus for high definition audio driver (which is listed twice in Device Manager), but I can never get the IDT high Definition Audio CODEC to install.  I tried all the drivers that I can find online, and I be getting errors that the installation will be aborted because is not the supported device, device code 10 does not start errors (I see that most of the time), or it says that the device is not present restart.  Is there anything else I can try, or am I just missing something?

I got a driver to work!

First of all, I did everything as described until the driver itself (SAU, etc..)

Then, I started with sp49309 drivers

In the WDM/WinXP/STHDA file. INF, I added the following line:

ST. DeviceDesc%=STHDA,HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_7605&SUBSYS_103C148B %

In the WDM/WinXP/Sthda.ini file, I added the following line:

HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_111D & DEV_7605 & SUBSYS_103C148B = 92XXM6-F. INI

Then in Device Manager, I right click the driver (I had Audio device with the yellow circle and exclamation point) and selected update driver.

I went to my file sp49309 and selected the STDHDA. INF, and to my amazement, it is installed with no error code.

I don't have to reboot.

Finally, I went to sounds in the Control Panel, and I can hear sounds!

I have not yet tried something else (or restarted).  Hope this helps someone else.  FYI - choice sp49309 has kind of a guess.  I just looked in the STDHDA. INF file and tried to find codes which have been so close to me (103C148B) as possible and hoped that it would work.

  • Is it possible to adjust the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

    Hello

I have a very simple question:

Is it possible to adjust the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

I explain why I need to do this:
I can watch DVD files or .avi with my computer and VLC, that allows to adjust the volume to 100%. Some DVDs have a very low sound. So if I set VLC to 200% volume and the system volume to 100%, I can watch movies in good sound conditions. Then, my computer speakers are strong enough for me watching a movie.

However, I have a problem with VSD: I use VOD with Windows media player and that player does not allow me to adjust the sound to more than 100%. So I put the sound of Windows media player at 100%, the sound of Windows to 100%, but the sound is very low.

Please don't tell me to buy speakers, mine are pretty strong, and I find it uncomfortable to plug the speakers.

Please don't tell me to use a software that increase the volume of the file I want to watch VOD.

Is there a way to increase the sound volume of Windows to more than 100%?

Please don t tell me this, please don t tell me that. You want to hear other people's opinions or what?

AFAIK all sound level settings in Windows are synchronized and if you change the sound level in the properties of the speaker at the same level will appear in the Windows for the Volume Mobility Center and the maximum level is 100%. No more than that.

As you already wrote the sound level can be increased in combination with Windows and some players.

Is there any other way to watch these videos, but using WMP?

  • No sound after installing Windows 7

I have a m7060n of four years, HP Media Center with 3 GB of memory.  The only sound work on my system is the headset before green.  I have a Logitech 5.1 speaker system that worked well until the installation.  There are two yellow triangles related video and audio in the list of equipment:

Conexant 23880 Video Capture (input to two Blackbird NTSC)

Conexant 2388 x MPEG Encoder (double entry)

The High Definition Audio Controller and high definition Audio Device both seem to work fine.

I installed all the drivers that I can find that might help.

Logitech said that my speaker model is compatible with Win 7.

HP does not even list Windows 7 as an OS when I look... only XP and Vista updates.  Updates for Vista have nothing to do with the sound.

Windows Update has given me several new drivers, including those for two devices of Conexant.

So far, nothing has worked.  I use a workaround solution by plugging the green plug from the speakers to the front Jack, but gives me only 2.0 sound not 5.1.

Someone at - it any other suggestions?

    Thank you

    Christie

    Hi Christieamber,

Try to install the driver provided by Realtek (the original creators of your audio device): http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/

Just select the link High Definition Audio Codecs, accept the agreement and then select the version of Win 7 in the resulting page.

Let us know how it goes.

    Hello:

I recommend that you try the audio driver IDT W8.1 support page for your laptop.

    This works in most cases.

This package contains the driver that allows Audio IDT high definition (HD) in the notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

    File name: sp58406.exe

If the W8.1 driver does not have the noise at work, try this...

Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category of audio, video and game controllers device.

    1. click on the Audio CODEC of IDT high definition in Device Manager.

    2. click on the driver tab.

    3. click on Update Driver...

4-> select Browse my computer for driver software.

    5. Select-> Let pick me from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

    6. Select Audio device high definition (not IDT high def...)  "This is important). and click Next.

Warning message is displayed, but the answer Yes.

7 Windows has updated your driver software.

    8 restart the PC

    Key is step 6

Well, my computer is a Dell and it's Windows XP. It is said that my sound is not yet existing. There is no control volume or parameter, or whatever it is for a, but every once in a blue moon, he pops up to five or ten minutes, but other than that, it's gone. I've tried and tried and tried to update and get new ones and fix my old. • I have a problem with the sound stutter in Windows Vista.

All the audio on my computer, regardless of the source, stutters.
This is a recent problem that has developed after I ran an automated scan of driver updates.
In hindsight, I should have restored the system parameters, but I did not, and now I'm looking for a solution to the problem.

I have uninstalled/reinstalled audio drivers manually.

I uninstalled the audio drivers and restarted my computer, allowing the system to automatically search for the drivers.
I disabled the value on the audio driver settings.
I ran each automated scanning, to which I was directed on the Microsoft Web site.
Basically, I followed all the instructions I found that by doing a search for ' stuttering audio windows vista "and nothing worked.
Does anyone have an idea of what I can do, or have had similar problems?

  • No sound after installing windows 10 MBP 2012

    Hello world

    Here's what I did.

I have MBP 2012 with El Capitan on it.

I installed windows on this 10. Here are the steps I followed.

    1. Plist file modified to allow the creation of iso windows 10 on USB for my MBP (PreUSBBoot USBBoot and 2 other usual changes)
    2. ISO file 10 Windows installed
    3. Make a key USB bootable but Bootcamp with drivers
    4. Use disk utility to partition the drive for windows (reason - because it gives error while installing windows, windows MBR EFI only on device TPG error)
    5. Restarted my MBP used and selected EFI boot option key (as when installing windows in Bootcamp, it gave an error saying no device found startup)
    6. Installed Windows and driver loaded by installing bootcamp
    7. Everything works fine but the sound

    Tried, but failed

    1. Clean install of windows if partition bootcamp (error - no found boot device)
    2. Boot EFI (error - error EFI GPT MBR, windows can be installed only on TPG error)
    3. Tried the update of drivers for the sound. However, did not

Please help me with the steps to solve this problem. In addition, windows is not activated is there any way through which I can still get windows 10 free.

Change the Info.plist file is incorrect. Your MBP 2012 takes in charge the two, USB and DVD facilities. Please use BCA and remove the current installation. Installation of Windows using boot EFI on a preUEFI machine will cause more problems.
