• Why can't I change the properties of film text in the text layout Panel?

  When you select graph opjects I can't change their properties text wrap in the text layout Panel.   Wrap of graphic objects properties appear correctly in the Panel, I just can't change.  It's as if something I'm lock out of any changes.   This used to work, but apparently something happned in the world that locked me out to change most of the things on the panels.   I get the content to pages by importing an XML file.

  The blue highlight should disappear when you change your preferences. But since it does not (and the red bar should not be visible), try to run the script display text replaces in-tools. You must disable such things. InDesign scripting |-Tools.com

  I create a fixed layout with InDesign CC epub book. I made my first page and open in ibooks and found that it won't let me highlight the text. I can highlight text in a fluid layout, but not in this new fixed layout.  Any advice on how to get my text of provision fixed to be highlightable? Being able to highlight is a large part of my project.  Thanks in advance for your help.

  Sorry guys... Here I had seen this before. I could have told you that highlight and note-taking capabilities are disabled intentionally fixed layout EPUB and Kindle KF8 books.

  The only time where you will see a FXL book that does support highlighted is if is B & N or Amazon "Perfect Page" or "replica" - format which is basically just a PDF packed of all kinds that can be read via Kindle and Nook apps (other College book apps like kno.com and the old support Page Replica CourseSmart Too much. CourseSmart has recently merged with VitalSource, however, so I don't know what they are doing these days WRT replicas of page). iBooks does not support any kind of reply to print the page. It's the EPUB 3 FXL or author only for Apple iBooks.

  You cannot open the text layers in the layer panel.

• threaded Articles text export nightmare Panel

  I need to create an e pub from a .indd document. I am using the articles Panel and ran into a problem. If you look at the picture in the joint, you can see a screenshot 3 column of text.

  Now, if I select the whole 3 columns and drag to the articles Panel ONLY the first column of text is displayed.

  If I drag only the second or third column by itself again that the first column appears, this seems to happen when exporting threaded text using the articles Panel.

  I already tried to Group / Ungroup text, the same result.

  Any help here?

• Declarative component in the form layout Panel

  I use jdev 11.1.1.4. I created a declarative component which is similar to the component date. MinValue, but has its disabled text entry field. The problem is that if I put this component within a group shape panel presentation with other fields of the form (IE with the label and text field) then my full component comes below the textfield object. How can I make it to appear as the original component date. MinValue when placed inside formatting has its label below the other labels and textfield below other textfields. The only reason to have this component is to get the disabled text input field. Please suggest if there is another way to achieve this goal, or if any other information is needed.

  You can try this?

  (1) to date. MinValue as simple so that only the date part of the declarative component (the label does not appear in the declarative component)
  (2) use the declarative component by enclosing it inside a panelLabelMessage with the label in the panelLabelMessage.
  (3) place all the components Panel formatting.

  I'm creating a text scroling Panel in Indesign CS5.5. I followed the tutorial for the T, but when I open my control panel overlay creator of the Pan and Zoom option is grayed out, so I can't click on it and create the scrolling text.   I have two questions:

  1. If I want to have a container to hold the fields editable with labels and labels must be aligned on the left side of the container and the editable text should be aligned with the right side of the container, do I have to use a GridFieldManager and create a separate LabelField for each line or y at - it a way to get a TextField to display its label in the manner described?

• Text tool layout of questions - lines out of sync in InDesign

  I need assistance with InDesign. You see the problem with the formatting? There is little grey boxes to the right of the lines that were not correctly formatted. When I highlight the text you want the lines are confused. I went through the Adobe forums looking for troubleshooting but can not understand. Does anyone know the solution to the problem? What is the technical term for the "grey boxes"?

  1. simply check this using the Horizontal / Vertical alignment of attribute in the section of the label of the element of the Page definition.

  2. in the report of the attributes, the value of the plan of paging None; and the number of rows and number of maximum lines to more than the number of rows that will be returned by the report query.

  (You should only ignore this last you really know that the number of lines make this a reasonable option.) Nobody is going to want to scroll through thousands of lines or wait 5 minutes for total information overload. You wouldn't be popular with your admins/ISP network due to the excessive bandwidth consumed either.)
