No [ups] don't rank file name!

Hi all

When I was importing the source of fdm data, I encounter this error.

Error: An error occurred importing the file.
Detail: No [ups] don't rank file name!

I usually never encounter this error.
Can someone explain what this means?

Thank you.

FDM imports of excellent files using a named range that begins with "UPS" (which means upstream)

The first cell in the named range is the table in which the data will be imported. The following ranks, it's the fields in the table and line 3-n are data records.

I would you recommend to import data directly from excel, unless you use the FDM journal feature. FDM workflow process optimizes the process of importing data using a temporary table. If you were to write the data directly into the table, you would be around this key application functionality.

    Hi sliman,.

    1. which web browser you are using?

If you are referring to Internet Explorer, the option to erase the file names when you save the Web page is not available. This feature is not provided because if the drop-down list does not display the file names already existing, you can eventually choose a file name that is already reflected in the previous file being overwritten and lost.

  • I can't export my files (raw, jpg, tiff, any). always a notification "the path of the exported file cannot contain special symbol '='. ' is displayed. Why? I don't know what is the path to the file. at least, file name is not special symbol.

I can't export my files (raw, jpg, tiff, any). always a notification "the path of the exported file cannot contain special symbol '='. ' is displayed. Why? I don't know what is the path to the file. at least, file name is not special symbol.

The path of the file is the full description where the file is located in the language of the operating system, including drive, directory and file name and extension.

In the above example, the file path combines the two circled items-"E:\Webpix" and "BleedingHeart.JPG", the path to the file would be "E:\Webpix\BleedingHeart.JPG".  If you do not have an equal sign in the name of the file, you must have one in the folder or the equivalent.

  • Why don't I have a - 2 (two dash) added to my file names?

So, I try to understand what happened with my file names. In this particular case, they were _MG_0917.CR2, _MG_918.CR2, etc. Now they are _MG_0917 - 2.CR2, _MG_918 - 2.CR2 and so on.

Circumstances in which added the "-2"? -(No, I have no renaming btw)...

    Geoff

    Hi GeofferyH,

'- 2' Gets generally added to file names when you import duplicates with the same file names.

I suggest you do a search for the file name "_MG_0917" in Lightroom and check that it contains only a single image or both with and without "-2".

  • Changing the file names of the photos used in the projects final cut express

HI, I have a lot of pictures that I've used in some express HD projects final cuts.

File names are not descriptive file name convention, but just standard camera. I want to add descriptive names, which will come out in the finder, but I don't want to damage the projects that I have created. I guess I could change one by one and tell the system where each file. But is there a better way? Thank you!!

If you change the names in the Finder, all clips in your projects will lose the path of the file and you will have to redo the link.

Changing names within the CTF will work OK but will not appear in the Finder, probably it will not work for you.

I suggest you set the browser to display a miniature clip of the photo, that is maybe a solution to easily identify clips.

I did some shorten folder names, but my names pale in comparison with the LOOOOONG TB gives them names.

    How can I fix?

I did some shorten folder names, but my names pale in comparison with the LOOOOONG TB gives them names.

This is because the wdseml files are just files created in order to allow windows to search to index your mail. I will not allow it and safe lots of disk space completely wasted on a feature that I don't use. Thunderbird has a search engine perfect condition. At least as good as windows search.
Your mail is stored in highest MBOX files in the profile as well as a file of the same name with an extension of MSF that indexes the contents of the folder. One file and one index per mail folder. In the above example, it will be \\Oz\Data\System\Users\billr\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\5kxps6et.default\ImapMail\imap.googlemail - 4. com

So I suggest backing up your profile under these space takers and seriously consider just disable windows search. Menu (Alt + T) tools > options > advanced > General in respect of the integration of systems.

In addition we have all to live in the 256-character limit on the length of the path imposed by windows.

If you're like me and have more than 10 TB of data, this can be something of a pain in the anus.

  • How to get Automator to export a list of file names in an Excel workbook?

I have a spreadsheet with all the file names of my Sibelius (.sib) scores without import/y attach files to a 2011 Excel workbook. I tried different ways to help automate it, but it seems to only be able to export .txt files in Excel. On some combinations, I tried, even lets link you to files that I'm not interested by - all I want is a list (editable preference) of my file names so that you can see them all in one area and check what I have / I do not have.

I use Yosemite 10.10.5 (I don't want to upgrade to El Capitan due to driver compatibility issues) and Microsoft Office for Mac 2011.

    Any help would be appreciated

I can't help you with Automator, but there is a solution.

    1. launch Firefox.

    2. drag the folder with the files in the Firefox window. (The example is a folder of image files)

3 - Select all the entries on the page in Firefox:

4 - Open Excel and paste it into a spreadsheet:

5 - remove the size and last modified columns. To remove the links reformat the text column.

So, I think, first of all the xxxx.pdf of pdf file is saved to the cache, changed its name as 529EDd01, then open the foxit reader. then the name could never the same as the url name xxx.pdf.

is there another way to solve this problem, (mimetype do not work).
(for the browser firefox is closed the cache would have been deleted, so security is not much). Thank you for your attention. Thanks a lot for trying to solve the problem, because it bothers me too.

I don't use Foxit reader, but most of the things allow you to choose or change a file name when you save a file. If you download and save a file with Firefox, you should get the opportunity to name the file.

    If necessary

    1. Disable foxit reader (Tools-> Add-ons)
    2. then navigate to the .pdf
Firefox should have nothing suitable open the file with and will therefore save the file.

You seem to be using an insecure and obsolete Firefox 7, you must upgrade to Firefox 12 and also check and update of plugins and modules.

The latest versions of Ffirerox will open the .pdf files, but you are still able to download and save see

  • Photo Loader deletes files with the same file name

A few days ago I imported a number of photos and videos from my iPhone to a specific folder on my MBA by using Photo Loader. Tonight, I imported again a number of photos and videos in this folder, only to find out they were not imported after all as the file names already exist. Apparently, iOS uses IMG_xxxx.xxx for all that is shot with the camera and always uses the next available number. So as I had already IMG_0618.JPG in this case, she has just imported this photo, but that the flag has been verified, he took the original iPhone itself.

As they have not been removed by interaction on the iPhone, but by means of Photo Loader, they don't pop up under "recently retired" and the device with third-party scanning software also has been failed.

I have recovered the photos via photostream but am always desperate to find one or two movies that I shot. Any thoughts?

Never mind... For some strange reason, the photos have been transferred to the location of default images.

  • Question about file names and organization

    Background

I connected my camera to my iMac and downloaded my photos directly into iPhoto without ever thinking about it. I just thought it was the way to do it.  Now that I began to rethink the organization / structure of how I want to drop my photos I find myself with what to do on all my previous photos.

    Question

I am wanting to rename all the photos of my real FILE NAME to a certain format that I read recently on the subject, and I wonder about how this topic with all the previous pictures I imported into iPhoto.

Is my only option to EXPORT all of the photos to a certain spot on my hard drive, rename them and then re - import in the iPhoto library, or possibly create a whole new library?

I understand that the change of name to a photo in iPhoto does nothing for the name of the file on the computer so I'm looking for all of the options that I might have.

    iPhoto v9.5.1

    iMac 27 end 2009

    OS X 10.9.5

    3.06 GHz Intel Core Duo

    16 GB 1067 MHz DDR3

Is my only option to EXPORT all of the photos to a certain spot on my hard drive, rename them and then re - import in the iPhoto library, or possibly create a whole new library?

Yes. It's your only option to change the file names.  But here's the thing: If the photo is in iPhoto, then the file name is not just serious. Not at all. Never.

So it would be totally useless.

Replace the title by any means, and then if you move ever leaving iPhoto you can export using the title as the file name.

I don't know what naming scheme you will think, but be sure that it involves no character ' / '. Avoid colon.

  • By adding a sequential number to analyze the file name

On my HP OJ 4500 G510g-m, when scaning using the HP solutions Center - it always adds a number to 4 digits at the end of the name of the basis file that I can change.

That I don't seem to be able to do is to get until STOPPED by adding the number 4-digit. I never want to do. I could see where this might be useful, but not for my situation.  Looks like there should be a checkbox to enable/disable this feature.

Everyone there knows a way to achieve... notch record or something else? It's a pain to have to edit each file name that I scan so that I can eliminate the 4-digit number.

Oh Yes... to help to win 8 with the latest drivers and software available.

Well, that's an answer that is not a solution.

However, as there is no solution, I have to call it resolved as you gave it at least a response with sufficient clarity that I can stop looking for a way to do what I want.

FWIW - in my 22 years of it works, almost every software program scanning for this, and dang some of 'EM have an option to disable it-so for all these years, I've been editing file names to remove the 0001 that someone think everyone wants. I never talked to anyone who does not want that it kind... change which ever is used for market research.

Add a number at the end, if there is already a file with the name you specify... now it makes sense.

It is stupid to think that is what HP (and others) did that hardcode in the scan software. Please go to the top of the line.

I am grateful for the response, however. It is simply not a solution.
