  Although that do not know what could be the cause, here are a few things you can try.

  1 see if turning off the background tension or lowlights helps solve the problem of synchronization. See the webcam of the help manual.

  2. lower the screen resolution. Reference: change your screen resolution

  1. have you checked if the webcam works in the photo app?

  2 are. what buttons you referring? Are you referring to the Skype app?

  I suggest you try to use a different port or check the webcam on another computer. That would help us determine if there is a problem with hardware.

  I was talking about the button on the windows 'Start' screen 8, not having even the LifeCam button performed on the installation of the programme of work.

  However, I this afternoon, completely erased the files on the computer and remove the button from the start screen.  Then I re-installed the earlier version of LifeCam how (for the first time), I was advised to wait for the last update to install after I plugged the device into an outlet of the USB2 and 'Bingo' the camera works now.  It even works on the button that has been postponed on the start screen.  I'm not too sure what I did, but the camera works using the LifeCam button, but not the camera to Windows or video button, but that's no problem.  Thank you for your interest and your help.

So please dear microsoft tell us how to use another microphone or get your work of programmer and set the software if we have a choice as all the other programs don't...

• Unable to capture video with the Canon Vixia HV40 HDV - why?

  I am unable to capture video HDV via Firewire to my Cannon Vixia HV40. I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 bit on a computer HP DV6T Quad Edition laptop, using the native Firewire interface. I can capture DV standard definition without problem (when the unit is set to DV mode, Windows detects the device and the guests of action - if you select HDV mode, Windows does not, and the camera does not appear in Device Manager).

  So far, I tried to capture HDV in Sony Vegas, Windows Live Movie Maker, Cyberlink PowerDirector 7 and finally HDVSplit (considered as the common denominator of simpler, the lowest for the capture) without success. NOTE: the camera IS recognized in HDV mode. In all the above applications, I can go back, play and fast forward - there's a link that works at least at this level. When I try to capture HDV, I get different results - no success. HDVSplit starts playback on the camera and stops after 3-4 seconds, indicating that no data has been transferred from the camera. If I turn off scene detection, capture runs indefinitely, but the generated file is never more than 0KB. Director of Windows also appears to capture, but the file is still 70 KB and is not valid. Sony Vegas, same, begins the capture but never see any video. CyberLink Power Director, somehow, HDV recorded once a band - and can always record a live camera HD stream.

  I tried a lot of things:

  1 using the older driver 1394
  2 turn HD/HDV
  3 reinstall the capture software
  4 press the 'PLAY' button first, then enable "record", then the workflow is running.
  5. install the Canon software (despite the fact that it contains all drivers for camcorders) - in fact there is no driver for the Canon Vixia HV40. It is supposed to work with the Windows 7 driver. I tried both (W7 and legacy) with the same result.

  The Canon Vixia HV40 is documented as supported in Windows 7 by Microsoft and Canon - and yet there are many people on the Internet claiming to have this problem (although some people report no problems at all). I am sure that I do not see a 'Pink Elephant'. As this is a forum for Microsoft - I would be happy if I could capture in Windows Live Movie Maker - to keep the inconsistencies of the third part of the road. What should I try next? Is there a 1394 a generic driver that is certified to run on Windows 7?

  I went and hooked the camcorder new just to make sure that I can hardly believe it is now capture HDV. Perfect work. Believe me, I've tried evey solution I could find on the internet and it is the only one that worked for me. I found the solution on this forum and started to find only no sooner. I've only used it with Pinnacle Studio 12 so far... never mind, I just tried HDV Split and it works too. I had also planned to buy a SIIG NN-EC2812-S2 and if it had been less expensive, I did not hesitate. I tried from Best Buy's Dynex Express card, but he had the camera recognition problems and sent. I thought that you get what you pay and was actually looking for the best price on the SIIG when I came across the solution. I wish you good luck.

  Let me share my personal experience on the subject. When they are facing the same problem, I asked my provider and they tried to pull a fast explaining that viewing videos on the 3G network is dependent on the device and that it is not possible to videos on my BB "BOLD" due to speed issues. They even suggested that I buy an iPhone 3G given that subscribers who do not seem to display YouTube videos problems. A load of rubbish! After only a brief workshop organized by RIM and my career, I was "unofficially" informed by a member of staff that it was a TCP/APN issue. I take advice, made the necessary adjustments, and was able to view Youtube videos on the 3 G network without problem. However, my Bill the next month floored me. Even if I'm on a package data unlimited, I was charged an extra $ 70 on top of what I usually pay. Learn more with my carrier, they were kind enough to inform me that I have to access the Internet via their APN address, which translates into a lower speed of AFN, orI will have to pay for accessible data on the other addresses of the AFN.   You have certainly a few stray video images on your timeline.

  Press the-key on your keyboard (above your enter key). This will show you your entire timeline film. It is likely that it is show you three minutes of empty area beyond your current project.

  Click and drag your timeline, in the area beyond your project, and then press DELETE. Press then on the-button again. Keep doing this until you have cleaned all the errant video frames your mounting left side beyond your project.

  What you describe is the automatic locking function. You can adjust this setting in order to be able to watch your videos without interruption.
