Scanner will not connect to my printer HP deskjet 3050

I recently bought a printer HP Deskjet 3050 all-in-One series, scanner copier J611 a.  My operating system is Vista 64.  I received the error message is "Scanner not connected to the computer."  Everything worked, and then all of a sudden the scanner no longer works (print and copy of the works).  I tried to use the printing HP and Dr. Scan to try to solve the problems, but it did not help.  I also tried other solutions I found on the HP site.  Finally, I just uninstalled and reinstalled.  It did not help.  I can still print and copy but will not scan.  I need the scanner, more than anything I have an another printer/copier HP that I can use.

I tried to analyze using the Wi - Fi connection but couldn't. I have not tried to use MS Paint. I saw in another thread, the proposition that, using a key USB cable might work and I tried it and it worked. It's a little embarrassing, but the key is that I can scan now. Thank you very much.

  • HP Laserjet P3015dn: P3015dn pilot will not connect to the printer

Hello. We provide that HE supports for a number of hotels, and for about a month, we had problems with a number of printers P3015 different properties not being not able to print. This is shared through Windows 2008 R2 servers network printers. The problem when the drivers are installed directly on the computer of the user (Windows 7 Pro).

The printer is connected and accessed via a web browser. When a test page is sent, no data seems to go to the printer. There is no error in the printer event log. After awhile, an error is displayed for the printer in "devices and printers". There is no specific error given.

The installed driver is universal PCL6 because there is no specific driver for this printer.

I would like to know if it is a common mistake that has resurfaced recently. For the moment, we have this problem in 4 separate hotels. P3015s most are a few years old but is new and still under warranty.

Update: installing drivers PS does not solve it either.

  • Dell scanner will not connect to netbook Toshiba Vista

I have a dell printer/scanner/copier, which I tried to connect it to my toshiba netbook, but it doesn't connect. How can I solve this problem?

    scaneer problem

Go to Dell and get the latest driver, firmware, or software for your device and compatible with your version of Vista.  Also get the user and technical manuals if they have available.  Uninstall what you already have installed and try again.  Don't forget to follow the directions on the order of events during installation (some want the connected device and power since the beginning and others only after that some other measures have been made - and it won't work unless you do it in the right order).  Contact Technical Support to Dell for assistance if necessary http://support.dell.com/support/index.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs.

Are you sure that your device is compatible with Vista and your Toshiba?  http://www.microsoft.com/windows/compatibility/windows-vista/.

    I hope this helps.

Driver seems to install properly until the moment where he is asked to connect the USB cable. Then he hangs up. HP lj 1020 printer appears in the display to the dashboard as the default printer. Computer recognizes the printer as hp printer lj1022 but in another "device not specified Panel when and only when the printer is on and the USB cable is connected." The lj1022 printer accepts data from two other computers, as well on Windows xP and using the same cables. Three other USB ports have been tested on the new Windows 7 computer without results. The USB ports on the Windows 7 computer accept keyboards, mouse and flash memories wireless dongle without problem. The Windows 7 computer also sends data to a printer wireless with no problems.

  • HP Officejet 6500 a: printer will not connect to the wireless network.

I got this HP printer for a while and it worked fine.  Our old router is out and we had to get a new one.  Installed perfectly and printer continued to work properly.  The password for the router was ridiculous, that's why I changed it to something much more simple to remember.  Since then, my printer will not connect to wireless internet.  I have a ~ and reinstalled the printer but still have the same problem.  I thought maybe to try the former password would, but who does not work either.

Anyone has any ideas that might help before chuck it and go and get a new one altogether?

    Thank you.

Easy things first.  Turn off the router and the printer.  Turn on the router and wait 3 minutes.  Turn on the printer and see if it connects to your router.  Status?

If no joy, temporarily disable all security in the router.  Now try to connect the printer to your SSID not guaranteed without password.  Status now?

If OK, go back and add WPA2-AES with your simple password.  Status now?

When I try to connect the printer times out and says that no connections are when I check for wireless connections. Never use WPS to connect.  If done it should be disabled in the router for security reasons.  Connect manually via the SSID and password following the instructions in the manual.

  • HP deskjet 2540: HP 2540 printer will not connect to new router

Hi, we just changed internet service providers and the printer will not connect to the new router, our HP laptop computer presents the printer in the list of network devices / wireless, but will not accept the password of network to the router when I ask him to connect. Makes me crazy! I have re-installed software etc. to connect the drive and make me anywhere I hope someone can help!

    Dave.

Replacement/change your wireless router, try here.

    http://www.HP.com/global/au/en/wireless/reconfiguring-system-Help3.html

Make sure that your router is set to a fixed channel wireless as the 1, 6 or 11, never 'auto '.  Try channel 1 first and then the other one at a time.  Make sure that the printer and the router are spaced at least 5 feet.

However, if you have a gateway device (modem + router), all gateway devices are terrible for connectivity and wireless performance.   If this does not work, suggest you put this bridge in full bridge mode device and install your own router of high quality that YOU have full control over.
