No Volume control on the speaker Airplay of Apple TV app?

Apple TV is set to the output on the AirPort Express.

You can control the Volume of airport exit holding the Center button on the remote airport until the menu is displayed at the top, in selecting the speakers tab, scrolling to the airport, then using left/right button that moves the green light and makes the audio output to the optical connector upper or lower the airport.

However the sound volume bar does not respond when you do exactly the same thing in the Apple TV iOS remote control application.

Y at - it a trick to make react?

Is this a bug or a coding error?

Logically, the application should be able to control all the menus/submenus of the Apple TV.

Apple TV output to a specified volume. The volume is controlled by your TV, speaker bar, amplifier, etc. Siri distance includes an IR remote, which can usually be trained to control the volume of the TV, but the iOS app can only output IR I don't have an airport, but probably it outputs to a volume determined in the same way, and you control the volume either at the level of the amp/speaker, or to the source if you play from iTunes.

1 not easily. There is no way to select the device to control, you end up control both. You could get a programmable remote control and lead to control different devices, but this would require a deception.

  • Volume controls on the keyboard after the upgrade to Windows 8

I have a Touchsmart 520-1070 with the mouse and keyboard without wire factory.  After the upgrade to WIndows 8, the volume controls no longer work.  I tried the Recovery Manager to reinstall the keyboard drivers, but there is no driver keyboard under hardware drivers.

    HID keyboard device

    Keyboard 109 MCIR Microsoft eHome

    Keyboard MCIR Microsoft eHome

Microsoft eHome key remove control Keayboard

    PS/2 standard keyboard

Any report that they are installed and are working correctly and that the drivers are up to date.

Has anyone else seen or solved this problem with a Touchsmart computer?

The instructions below were provided by HP support.  This has restored the function on the keyboard volume controls.  The referenced below drivers are drivers IDT high definition Audio Device.  I am not sure that it was necessary to reinstall the audio drivers.  It can only had to remove the USB dongle and back to restore the functionality of the button.  Note: the USB dongle is located behind the VESA Panel to the back of the PC.  No tools are required and the dongle can be removed and replaced without shutting down the PC.  VESA panel removal requires a bit of a steady hand, pulling the lip which is close to the connections on the rear panel.

Please go to the following link and check the "return of the system", article #7 is the USB dongle:

  • The volume control on the Satellite Pro A200 with Ubuntu 7.10

I have a Satellite Pro A200GE-1F9, I did recently to dual boot with Vista and Ubuntu 7.10. It's the first time I used Linux and most things are going well so far.

However, the volume control (a wheel at the front of the laptop) does not control the volume correctly with Ubuntu, rather than increase the volume smoothly as with Vista, it increases in a 1/8 of maximum volume jumps, the on-screen volume control is always smooth. I think that it is at least partly due to the change of a material volume wheel, as with the latest Toshiba, I have used, for a version of software based. It controls the system volume and runs continuously, without stop at maximum or minimum volumes.

Does anyone know how to change this change in volume for a smooth jump?

    Thanks for any help

    Hello

given that no one here has no idea, nor pilots, nor any information about the driver from toshiba support, nobody will be able to give you some useful information.

Have you ever google and checked the ubuntu forums? According to me, which will bring you closer the source here instead.
So just to start to ask in the ubuntu forums because I think that someone is there who maybe has the same problem as you.

I hope that artistry a kind of programmer. ;)

  • can I disable the close full screen when the volume control on the volume slider?

Information system: HP Pavilion dv7-3065-dx Entertainment PC running Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1

Information problem: whenever I'm viewing in full screen and I change the volume, fullscreen application is minimized and the desktop with pop-up windows volume level indicator

For example: I watch a video in full screen and decide the volume is too low or high. I use the remote control supplied with the PC or the volume above the keyboard slider. Setting the volume level, the movie gets completely minimized and the desktop. Soon after, the volume level indicator appears on the screen. I then have to click on a program to open, and then press the button full screen again... Is it possible that I can disable the process and adjust volume without changing the display?

    Hello

The only way to avoid this is to uninstall HP MediaSmart SmartMenu (listed in programs and features) - this is the utility that is responsible for the OSD volume which in turn, reduces to a minimum the current screen.

    Kind regards

  • How to download the program Volume control for the taskbar

Where can I get the installer of the volume control for my taskbar. I've triedControl Panel >sounds and Audio devices > check "Place Volume in the taskbar icon .

When I check the box for "place volume icon in the taskbar" it gives me an error and says "Windows cannot display the control volume on the taskbar because the Volume control program has not been installed. To install it, use Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.

Where can I get the program from?

You mention that your netbook is HP. Most of the HP products have a recovery partition. If this is the case:

    -Click Start-> Run

    -Type in cmd

-Type in the following, substitute the C:\ and D:\ readers with your partition recovery and partition system respectively:

    Expand c:\i386\sndvol32.ex_ d:\windows\system32\dllcache\sndvol32.exe

    -Press enter, and then type:

    Expand c:\i386\sndvol32.ex_ d:\windows\system32\sndvol32.exe

    -Type exit and press ENTER.

Your Volume control should now be restored. You can check this by opening the sound and Audio Control Panel devices and by checking the box to the volume icon to Place in the taskbar.

If your problem is not solved or there is no such thing as a recovery partition after the return

    Hope this helps

  • Volume options and the speaker in Windows XP icons are not active

The speaker in my taskbar icon disappeared and the solutions in contlol ane panel volume't available.
    original title: Volume

No, not the thing to do.

It is for the audio drivers missing or corrupt, not the mixing table, which in this case is probably corrupted (sndvol32.exe), it is a MS file!

    Follow these steps:

Right click on my computer on your desktop > second option down - explore > in the menu bar, click Tools > Options > display > scroll down and check "Show hidden files etc" > Apply > OK > then, in the left pane, navigate to c:\windows\system32\dllcache > find and copy the sndvol32.exe file > paste said file in c:\windows\system32 > crush if requested.

    Re-boot

You should now have your rear speaker icon.

BTW, if you do not find the dllcache folder, then there is another more technical way to recharge the mixing table, so re-post and have your XP CD handy.

    See you soon,.

    Jerry

Another BTW: If you really want to re - install the audio drivers and your PC/laptop is a 'make' (HP, gateway, etc.) then go to their Web site and get the drivers correspondents there. Install the drivers from the MB manufacturer only if you have built your PC yourself.
