"Nobody showed" as search criteria

I am a photographer of People and have been using Media Pro (in all its versions and its incarnations) each since its introduction iView Media Pro for many years.  Media Pro began not with a 'People' field several years after its creation.  Adobe prefers to use 'Specified person' under the name of the IPTC field.  I'm starting to explore migration to Adobe software for my workflow of database, including Lightroom and Bridge (I already use Lightroom extensively for processing images and publication).  HOWEVER, I have found searching for people or people reported is ridiculously difficult.  I don't know why it's more important search for a picture taken with a particular goal for a person whose name is already in the metadata. This seems totally geek to me.  I wish I could enter the name of a person in the fields FIND or find and get all the images where this name was listed in the metadata in the field indicated person (included into the file) and specify that only this field to search for.  I've tried search in Bridge and in LR, but she returns with this name in various areas, i.e. If I use my name, it will only give me images where I am, but also all the others that have my name in other metadata as the home of Lucien and Lucien vacation, etc..

I wish well for Adobe to include custom metadata section fields.  All that serves journalists and Stock agencies is not necessarily useful to the general public.

While the IPTC fields are searchable via the smart collections and the library filter bar, IPTC Extension fields as shown are, inexplicably, not searchable.  Please add your vote and detailed opinion to this bug in the Adobe official feedback forum report: Lightroom: metadata to make extended IPTC available. Community customer Photoshop family.

There are some workaround solutions:

-Use of any filter or Data Explorer plugins to find the person field.

-Use the plugin to search replace transfer to copy the individual field names shown to the keywords applied to the photo.  Then, you can search for key words.  When you use the LR face recognition, it will also add the name you enter as keywords.  So if you plan to use facial recognition, creating keywords for your existing people shown may be a good idea.

    (The above is actually a relatively easy search. Hi WilliamWood,

    There is no option to save the search in Windows Media Player. However, you can try to create playlist that would serve your purpose.

    Search for the song of your choice and add this song to the playlist. Here is a link that might help you create or add songs to the playlist: create or change a regular playlist in Windows Media Player: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Create-or-change-a-regular-playlist-in-Windows-Media-Player

  • Search criteria Set AF:QuickQuery - jdev 11.1.2.3

    Hello:

    I use an AF:QuickQuery that works very well.  However, I have now a use case where I need pre-fill search programmatically.

    The AF:QuickQuery is based on the original Version used. I need set the search criteria for the currently connected user ID, then run the AF:QuickQuery to display the row for the user.  After the query is run, the fast query table should show only the line for the currently connected employee.

    The AF:QuickQuery has two headphones (I think) resemble what I need:

    QueryListener, which is the value #{bindings. ImplicitViewCriteriaQuery.processQuery} and

    QueryOperationListener which is empty

    What is the difference between these two headphones and who should I use?

    Does anyone have examples of java code or articles I should reference on how to do this?

    Thank you very much...

    Once a user gets to the page so they should only be able to see their records and not query for others?  It seems that maybe you should use a display with a variable binding criterion in the VO used rather than a quickQuery.

  • Cannot change the Google search criteria in Safari

    I have a MB Pro OS X El Capitan 10.11.12 running version 2015.  My default search engine is Google.  After the recent update, whenever I'm looking for something in the Apple search bar in Safari, it will bring me to the page of Google results as usual, but if I want to change the search criteria in the search bar (not the Apple search bar), it won't let me.  It won't delete, add, or change the search criteria in the Google search bar in the Web page.

    I tried Yahoo and Bing and both work very well.  I also tried Google on Firefox and it works fine too, there must be something with Safari.

    Any suggestions?  Does anyone else have this problem?

    Ugh! I just figured this out, the simplest thing too.

    There is a dialog box on the google page saying something like "Download Google Chrome" and you can click on the x to close that.  Once you do this, the search bar can be changed again.

  • Add search criteria to the customer Search Page

    Hi all

    I have a requirement to add additioinal search criteria to the customer search page. Order Management Super User-> client-> Standard

    / Oracle/Apps/AR/cusstd/srch/WebUI/ArPrtySrchPG

    I want to add number of Site Search additiional. I tried to add a lookup field using customization, but the addition of the field does not appear on the screen. I tried to find out how the where clause is implemented through the related CO I found that the search fields are implemented using a matching HZ_ORG_SIMPLE_SEARCH_RULE rule.

    Is it possible to add the additional field matching this rule? Otherwise how can I advance to this requirement? Please suggest

    Thank you

    Pravin

    Found the solution...  Adding that it might be useful for others...

    Steps to follow:

    1. create the custom match rule by copying standard.

    2. add additional fields to the matching rule and specify a transform.

    3 compile the custom matching rule

    Finally, update the profile option to point to the custom matching rule. In my case it was HZ: associate the rule for the Simple and HZ research organization: associate the rule of advanced search for organisation

    You can use the following code to clear the filters:

        ViewCriteria vcDefault = vo.getViewCriteria (ViewCriteriaManager.IMPLICIT_VIEW_CRITERIA_NAME);
        If (vcDefault! = null) {}
          vcDefault.clear ();

As the string of a friend.
    Suppose that i m Aman discover "San." my friends are AEK, johan, satish etc..
    still a friend of aek is 'San' and
    Sissi is one friend of Mohan, Mohan another friend of shabani and Sanju will be a friend of "San."

  • Trying to keep the search criteria in the session and stubborn taskflow outdoors

    I have a page within a delimited taskflow on which the user can search. I use ViewCriteria and af:query.
    I can get the taskflow anytime, but when I return to my search criteria are still empty. I don't want to. I tried the following:

    a custom queryListener that calls saveState() so that we remember the search criteria (I also put a boolean session to remember whether there were non-empty search criteria):
    <af:query id="qryId1" disclosed="true"
                              model="#{bindings.StandaardFilterQuery.queryModel}"
                              value="#{bindings.StandaardFilterQuery.queryDescriptor}"
                              queryListener="#{reinigingsRechtBean.onQuery}"
                              queryOperationListener="#{reinigingsRechtBean.processQueryOperation}"
                              displayMode="compact" headerText="blaaa"
                              resultComponentId="::t1"
                              visible="#{reinigingsRechtBean.showFilter}"
                              saveQueryMode="hidden" styleClass="querypanel"
                              maxColumns="1">
    public void onQuery(QueryEvent queryEvent) {
            // zet het filter standaard op nonactief
            filterActief = false;

            QueryDescriptor queryDescriptor = queryEvent.getDescriptor();
            DCBindingContainer bc = FacesUtils.getBindings();
            Object execBinding = bc.findExecutableBinding("StandaardFilterQuery");
            ViewCriteria vc =
                JUSearchBindingCustomizer.getViewCriteria((DCBindingContainer)execBinding,
                                                          queryDescriptor.getName());
            Variable[] variables = vc.getVariableManager().getDeclaredVariables();

            //         loop door de variabelen en kijk of er 1 een waarde heeft.
            //         zoja dan markeren we het filter als actief.
            //         kunnen we dat aan de gebruiker melden
            for (Variable o : variables) {
                System.out.println(o.getColumnName());
                System.out.println(vc.getVariableManager().getVariableValue(o));
                if (vc.getVariableManager().getVariableValue(o) != null) {
                    filterActief = true;
                }
            }
            // raarheid, deze methode wist de waardes die we hierboven uitlezen.
            // dus niet boven de loop zetten want daar zie je ze dan niet meer
            vc.saveState();

            // voer nog wel de query uit, anders krijg je geen gegevens :)
            FacesUtils.invokeMethodExpression("#{bindings.StandaardFilterQuery.processQuery}",
                                              Object.class, QueryEvent.class,
                                              queryEvent);

        }
    That part works. I leave the taskflow and enter again and see my values. Yay! This feature breaks the "reset" button but reset() goes into its last saved state. I want to "reset" to clear the values and research. So I created this:
        public void processQueryOperation(QueryOperationEvent event) {
            if (event.getOperation().equals(event.getOperation().RESET)) {
                QueryDescriptor queryDescriptor = event.getDescriptor();
                DCBindingContainer bc = FacesUtils.getBindings();
                Object execBinding =
                    bc.findExecutableBinding("StandaardFilterQuery");
                    ViewCriteria vc =
                        JUSearchBindingCustomizer.getViewCriteria((DCBindingContainer)execBinding,
                                                                  queryDescriptor.getName());
                    Variable[] variables =
                        vc.getVariableManager().getDeclaredVariables();
                    for (Variable o : variables) {
                        vc.getVariableManager().setVariableValue(o, null);
                    }

                    //JUSearchBindingCustomizer.applyNamedCriteria(bc, queryDescriptor.getName());
                    // saveState() hoeven we volgens mij niet uit te voeren want de onQuery zal ook afgaan en die doet een saveState()
                    vc.saveState(); // toch maar wel
                    FacesUtils.getRRAppModuleImpl().getMoeReinigingsRechtRO().applyViewCriteria(vc);
            }
        }
    When I press reset, I catch the ViewCriteria, empty values, save the State and even to apply the Victoria Cross to the viewObject. However, the af: query indicates the criteria I entered before AND the search is made to these criteria.
    When I loop through the values of ViewCriteria they all void in the onQuery that is executed immediately after processQueryOperation(), but still it is ignored.

    What I am doing wrong?
