Noise revival tour desk

Why my turn to office as a motor winding down when I wake up and it will hurt it?

I think you need to back up important data on an external drive. Remove the drive and find the manufacturer and download their certification of the hard drive test. This is the moment that you may still be able to ghost a copy of your entire hard drive on toward a new before it fails.

  • Replacing a hard drive me

I have a 2010 tour desk HPE 170 t running windows 7-64 bit. I got an error message saying hard drive failed Smart self-test. What I read this means that my hard drive will fail. I will try to install a new hard drive myself. I have two recovery disks that I did when I got the computer, and I did a system image backup on DVD yesterday. To program the new hard drive I want to use the recovery disks, disks of system image or both? This is new territory for me. Thank you

    Hello

First of all, if it's any help, it is a guide (including a video preview) to replace the HARD drive of your PC at the following link.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01882178

Note:  It is best to replace the HARD drive with one of equal capacity as the drive that you are replacing to avoid possible problems if you decide to use recovery disks to reinstall the operating system.

Regarding the 2 options, you must reinstall the operating system, you must only choose 1 of them - a brief description is detailed below.

    Recovery using recovery disks.

Use these disks to reinstall the operating system on your new drive will return your machine for the exact conditions, he was at the time of purchase - that is to say, you will have to reinstall all programs etc that you added later and all Windows updates.  A guide on this procedure can be found on the link below.

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01867418

    Recovery using a system image.

This option will return your machine to the exact state it's in when the Image has been created - that is to say, it will contain all your installed programs, updates of windows, files, persoal etc.  When you created the Image of the system, you should have been prompted to create an at the end of the process system repair disc (if you haven't, let me know because there is an option to download available).

To reload an Image of the system at the new disk, you must start the PC from the from the system repair disc, select 'Repair your computer' and follow the method 3on the link below to load the Image.

  • Dell Inspiron 15 (7569) weight Palm press the button.

    Hi all

I have a problem with my new laptop Inspiron 15 (7569).  If I'm sitting up in bed, for example, my palms, put a little more pressure on the palm rest.  The speaker actually presses the left click button!  It raises two distinct questions to me.  First of all, he makes when there is no "click" the button when I want to use it (because it is already in the low position, held by the speaker), and second, it causes my cursor jumping around... the cursor/pointer is perhaps somewhere on the screen of the road while I type, for example, but when the speaker "button" left it forces to concentrate whenever the pointer is at this time.

This is clearly a defect in material, as there should be internal support closer to buttons to keep the Palm rests/case press the button.

What recourse do I have at this point?  How can I know that if I have Exchange for another model I just the same question again?

I have it exactly the same problem on my Dell Inspiron 7569.  I put my hands on the palmrest instead of letting them rest, as usual.  It is so boring.  Dell, please answer this!

UPDATE: it is not the only weight of wrists/palms on her caused which causes the problem.  I noticed that if I used a tour desk, or used the laptop on the table, the bottom of the laptop would be prevented from bending and the problem would not occur.  Several surveys have shown that I could do a pad click in either slightly deviating to the laptop, pushing the outside slightly towards the bottom and the Center slightly up.  The same behavior occurs when you use your thumbs and index fingers to tighten slightly above and below the cell, about 2 inches to the sides of the center of the trackpad.  Two of these trials mimic what happens when you use the laptop on your lap directly without a rigid surface for support.

It's a hardware problem... no idea how to solve this problem.  Reference Dell?

  • For a machine Dell Optiplex GX280 Pentium 4 FSB 533 MHz processor

My question is if I can use a CPU like the one shown in the link next to the official site of Intel for a Dell Optiplex GX280 machine:

And if the answer is YES, you would it be a good idea as far as goes the temperature of the cpu, I mean if I use a 533 FSB CPU and memory 533 mhz RAM?

The Spec, I would say that it should be good. BIOS must be updated to the latest version before changing CPU.

  • my tour made some strange noises

My Tower is a loud sounds coming from the back where the fan is I have no idea what can hurt any1help me

You can take the party off the PC and take a look inside. Make sure that it is not prime. It could be a wire to the fan, or it could be a lot of dust accumulation. If everything seems fine, it may just be a bad fan. Most of them can be replaced, with the exception of the supply fan (requires a complete new unit).

  • Keyboard slow and low noise level on a Satellite A110-178

    Hi all

I have acquired A 110-178, which for me has the right specification.

However on the first day, I feel that the use of the keyboard gives me problems. It isn't as I type like a pro, I have the 2 fingers way, but when I type most of the time I really make changes because some of the letters will not appear as they skip the step of what i type.

It should be possible in my view with a laptop like that, just press the keys and have no kind of hit them.

Is there a way via settings or to make some adjustments?

Also, the sound is not good... I put it all on the maximum level, but for example Youtube things have virtually no noise while on my desk I never face ny problems or I had with my previous laptop, also a Toshiba.

I'd be happy to hear your thoughts.

    Hi dutchrob,

regarding your keyboard: looks like you need to contact a local servicepartner, cause I had the same problem with my Tecra and it was a failure of the keyboard. They will exchange the keyboard if it is really defective.
This thing of sound can be perhaps a driver related problem, so why you don t try to reinstall you sounddrivers?

    Have a nice weekend

  • Camileo H20 - strange noise throughout the video

    Hello.

I today received delivery of my first camcorder, which as the title suggests, is a Toshiba Camileo H20.

Overall, I am impressed with this little camera, but there is a problem that concerns me. After reviewing a video of test, I created to see what the quality was as I noticed a strange sound throughout the video. I struggle to describe, it's a bit like static/interference. The thing is that I already have some tests to find out what could be the cause of it, and I found nothing. Again, the camera records audio as usual, but this static/interference is there with her.

At first I thought it's maybe because I'm close to electronic devices such as a TV and a PC, so I went in my new garden and filmed there, but noise persists. Then I covered the microphone to see if it makes a difference, but it didn't. I also tried different video modes, leaving the camera on a desk to record walking around a room and then I even resorted to transform a sound recording off altogether. The strange thing is that the camera has always been that noise when I play the video on my computer even if no sound is registered.

I have a slight suspicion thinking he made this noise if the camera is moved. But if I remember correctly it makes the same noise when it was not moved on the desktop.

Someone at - it ideas on how to solve this problem? Preferably not by reference. I would like to, but I don't have time because I'm going on vacation next week and I want the camera to do this.

    Thanks in advance.

I'm downloading two videos on YouTube in VGA mode and 720 p. Once they are uploaded I will edit this post with the links.

    HD:

    VGA:
    http://www.YouTube.com/watch?v=9fMjfIqK09Q

Quality cannot be correct because they have just the end of the download.

    Hello

I have no idea why this strange sound appears, but I found in the manual of the user an interesting point.
You can disable and enable the sound of keyboard and operating noise.
In Submenue setting, press the button to go to the audio menu. Use the left/right keys to select ON or OFF. Press the menu button OK to validate the settings.

The other point is that you said that this noise appears when you play the video on your computer. Maybe it's just a s codec problem.
I remember that the sound on my movies created with the HD cam is really strange questions wore on the package of codec missing on my laptop. In addition, the player didn't manage HD sound.
I chose the stereo settings and then the sound was ok

I'm not very well if this might be a reason in your case but it s m worth a try
Check the sound configurations and try to install some codec packs too

  • Satellite P500 - fan too loud and makes clicking noises

I recently bought a Toshiba P500 - in late October / early November, and recently the hard drive continuously flashes when there are noises rattling from the laptop (even if im not doing anything)

Also my fan will get random REALLY loud but usually run mediumly hard all the time, I rarely hear really calm even when I start it first to the top and nothing is running

The laptop itself is on my desk and high upward so that the fan is fully ventilated, as the surface is regularly wiped away (about twice per week)

    Hello

If the clicks or hit its happening with disk HARD high use and sounds like a light tap with a light hammer on wood then this is your HARD drive and not necessarily fan.
Fans usually have a hummimg and more regular sund whining when not.

First thing I would do is take you a laptop somewhere cool temperature and prepare to back up the files on your HARD drive if you have not already.
Second thing, it is to install a utility that will allow you to analyze the indicators SMART for your HDD (s) - mine has 2 drives x 500 GB, that should tell you if the HARD drive it's about to die.
There is also a diagnostic utility called PC Diagnostic tool available via all Prorams/TOSHIBA/utilities if you have it installed.

I would look then by contacting your local Toshiba support center to get your macine checked and covered in any warranty replaced elements.

  • Strange noise on my Satellite L50-B-NV

    Hi all

I have a Toshiba L-50 b-1-NV and the case constantly makes a strange noise, as if the load continuously. Sounds like something streaks, I think it's the hard drive, but I'm not sure, because the computer is relatively new (I got it 1 month).

At first, I thought it was normal, but reached a point where I can not speak for Skype because the noise is annoying for other listeners.

I opened the Task Manager and it seems quite normal.

You have an idea, what could happen?

Thank you very much and greetings.

On this virtual path, it is not easy to say what the problem is here. It is really strange that this strange noise is so loud for others when using Skype. Is this possible as intensely as internal microphone pick up this noise?

It must be much better if you use the headset, right? Have you tested it already?
Is this some sort of vibration or maybe clicking noise?

You know, these issues should be controlled by technicians. They can put your machine on the desk and hear what is happening exactly. We can discuss here about this problem but it is not easy to say what the problem is here.

  • Monitor cowards with a shaking noise

I bought a Macbook Pro 13 "retina early 2015 version (I'm still under warranty). I recently took my Macbook and noticed a loud commotion from the internal components. It was very strange that the computer has never been ignored and pretty much lives on my desk. I took the computer in the local store for the genius bar Apple take a look. Genius is far from being what they were, told me he has no spare room in the base of my laptop where all components. The source of the noise actually came from the portion of the screen of my laptop. Apparently the LCD is mounted in the housing of the display, and the so-called mine broke. I asked the monitor to be fixed because this computer is still under warranty. I was told that my case would be forwarded to the 'genius' some fantasy land located at Apple. A few days later I was told that this issue has been seen in very rare cases, and that I should not worry about damage. It is totally unacceptable that we know that shaking electronics can't break now but could certainly cause problems in the future as failure on the screen, when I'm probably out of warranty. I asked to speak with the manager who told me to take the computer back to the Apple store so he could watch personally. After back, the Manager pressed on the upper left side of the screen and tilted back the computer which reduces noise agitation. Then he preceded to tell me that the screen was in the specifications, but he would pass on my case again to the "genius". With the same results, I was told that would not be fixed under my warranty. The Manager then suggested that I buy the plan applecare for $250. I can't believe the nerve that apple has they will not solve the problem that must of course be under warranty and then suggest I have buy it there for what extended warranty plan * and giggles so they can tell me the same thing. I've never had a laptop with this problem do not even laptops of $300 that I bought an Apple for great products out there and pride but seriously have been disappointed. I will never buy another Apple product after this experience. The computer should not tremble under any circumstances. This computer costs $1500 and they used here still return product.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I try to bring a little noise on this topic if someone else knows it please reply if we meet they will have to address this problem.

    Hey there LKA1988,

Just to make you feel a little better the situation, I have two Mackbook Pro early 2015 that do the same thing. I noticed by accident one day, picking up my MBP. Did some research and found that other people have the same problems. Tested on my gf MBPr (bought on the same day as mine) and it makes the same noise. I confess that bothers me a little, but also feel better that mine is not the only one. I love my MBPr more than all other devices I've ever owned and know that these devices are very strong, judging by how I see others treat their MBP. I have just buy the AppleCare and live with the assurance that if it causes a problem, he will fix it in the title of the extended warranty. TBH, I prefer to live with the noise that many have compared to them have disassemble my new laptop.

    Good luck!

  • Satellite L500 speaker static noise when playing certain CD

My laptop speakers work perfectly. But for some reason, there is noise whenever I play all the songs from any of these CDs: Showbiz, Absolution, H.A.R.P.P Tour 2008 (all of Muse), it's not a problem with the CD, I played them all perfectly on another laptop. The work of great speakers, except with the CD above.
I should also mention that I tried to update the audio drivers.

What is the cause and how to fix it?

    Hello

Have you plugged external speakers to your laptop and you can see the same question it?

In your case, I'd install the latest sound card drivers and BIOS on the Toshiba site. The two you can download on the official website of Toshiba.

In addition, it would be interesting to know what operating system you have. Can test it with the factory settings, please?
