  I need some clarification about the nature destructive and non-destructive adjustments in CS5.

  Shift + Option + command + E will create a new version merged your layers at the top of the stack while keeping the original layers intact.

  As long as you keep all adjustment layers (which are Non-destructive), you can save a file that you can open it any time in the future and you can change the settings in your adjustment to your heart's content layers.

  But save these files PSD, TIF or PDF Photoshop to keep the layers intact. Formats such as JPG or PNG, etc cannot save layers and will flatten your layers before a record and are Destructive!

  And of course the weekend has arrived, so I'll probably have to wait until the week next (hopefully) access to the software I purchased.  Kind of ridiculous.  Buy a product online somewhere and you have access to the download as soon as you make the payment.  Spend $ 2,000 on Adobe products and download without dressing on what is happening with the order, why the delay, poor quality web/support services, etc.

  Ugh.  Am I the only one?  Annyone else made a purchase in the last two days without a hitch, namely a Creative Suite product in anticipation of the free to CS6 upgrade when it is released?

  As I said in my first answer, your license allows you to install and activate on two different machines.  If you need install CS5 through the Creative Suite applications (your serial number works for the suite, not individual applications), you can choose the programs install it now.  So, you should be able to install Photoshop on a machine and Illustrator on the other, as long as you do through the installation of the suite.  Nothing is illegal about this topic.

  In case you do not understand, you can also install Photoshop and Illustrator on both machines.  It is perfectly legal to do.
