  Hi all

  I use oracle Forms 11 g [32 bit] Version 11.1.2.2.0.

  I have developed a form in my local system (32-bit Windows) and now trying to compile the form to the server (Linux)

  I get the error message when compiling "FRM-91500: unable to start/complete construction.»

  The form (MODULE1.fmb) that I am trying to compile is in my directory on the server.

  What I did:

  Export ORACLE_HOME = / / oracle, Oracle, Middleware, Oracle_FRHome1

  Export ORACLE_INSTANCE = / / oracle, Oracle, Middleware, asinst_1

  Export FORMS_PATH = / / oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_FRHome1/forms: / u01/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/asinst_1/FormsComponent/forms

  using the command line to compile the form below:

  Oracle/Oracle/Middleware/Oracle_FRHome1/bin/frmcmp userid = module_type module = MODULE1.fmb < username > = form compile_all = yes window_state = minimize

  (1) create new folder in unix

  2) put your FMC to this folder

  (3) copy $ORACLE_HOME/forms/templates/scripts/frmcmp_batch.sh to this folder

  4) add to frmcmp_batch.sh:

  Export TERM = vt220

  Export ORACLE_TERM = vt220

  (5) brand: chmod + x frmcmp_batch.sh

  (6) set your env variables: TNS_ADMIN ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_INSTANCE,.

  (7) compile form you in this folder with:

  userid = set./frmcmp_batch.sh = no module = module_type = window_state = minimize compile_all = yes

• Not able to make a video

  I use iMovie v. 10.1.2 on the iMac with OS X 10.11.5 to make videos so far without problem.

  Now, I transferred my video camera SD card about 500 video clips with the 5.12 GB volume to iMovie. I see all the clips to my project of media with symbols of camera and I managed to compile a video of approximately 1 GB in the timeline panel as usual.

  But I am not able to transfer the content of the finished video on the timeline as a file or to the theater, ect.

  I believe, the clips are not saved in iMovie, so I'm not able to finish the video.

  Please help, I don't know what to do for that my video.

  You are right. The camera symbol indicates that the clips did not matter. Perhaps you did not wait long enough for such import big finish before you begin to modify your project. I would try to import again and give him plenty of time to complete. You could also import the smallest number of clips and several imports.

• Drive hard WD Passport not able to detect Windows 7, only the PC restart can work

  Hello:

  I have 500 G WD Passport hard drive. My laptop Dell Win7 64-bit not able to detect it. It does not appear in Device Manager, and disk management. When I show the hidden device, I can see the driver properly installed passport but windows says no device detected. The work around I have to plug my passport for PC and then restart my PC every time. I have no problem with an other laptop Win7, but I don't remember now if it is a machine 32 or 64 bit. Can anyone help?

  Just to say the good news before the explanations below. Your method worked partially. :-)

  I followed your instructions as below:

  1. I go to control panel-> device-> Universal Serial Bus controllers Manager and uncheck the "allow this computer to turn off this device' for everything USB with this option: Hub USB root, Generic USB Hub, USB Hub 2.0 MTT and etc.

  2 insert the disc WD Passport to my PC. PC cannot detect. Then I insert USB so that my WD Passport always connected. The PC is able to detect the key USB and WD Passport.

  3 eject my USB. My WD Passport must always be able to be detected by the PC, even I Plug and unplug several times.

  4 remove my WD Passport and connect to another USB port. PC cannot detect. Insert my USB then my WD Passport always connected. The PC is able to detect the key USB and WD Passport.

  5 eject my USB. My WD Passport must always be able to be detected by the PC, even I Plug and unplug several times.

  6 now I plug/unplug my WD Passport to one of the 2 USB ports without my USB connected.

  I then in Power Options in Control Panel to change "USB selective suspend settings" to "disabled". The "turn off hard disk after" has already been fixed forever. Made the start of the procedure from step 2. And behavior are the same from step 2 to step 6.

  I restarted my PC, just in case the changes I did for Device Manager settings to take effect. BLUE SCREEN came out so that the closing of my PC. Do not remember the exact error message. After you restart, done at the beginning of the procedure from step 2. And behavior are the same from step 2 to step 6.

  Then I restored the changes to 'allow this computer to turn off this device' for all USB items except USB root hub. Just to see if a single USB root hub has been changed, it gives the same result. I also restored the "settings USB selective suspend" "Enabled". I restarted the PC after that. BLUE SCREEN again. Do not remember the exact error message. After you restart, done at the beginning of the procedure from step 2. And behavior are the same from step 2 to step 6.

  At this point, I wasn't looking to cancel all changes back to the original and do like to see if it still works as it is.

  Conclusion, your method worked partially. I don't know why the WD Passport cannot trigger the PC to recognize by itself for the first time after restarting the PC. It needs USB key to accompany. But I'm happy now. At least I do not need to restart my PC now. :-)

• Hi again! Upgrade to Lightroom CC and it's SLOW! I'm not able to regularly organize photos, help please!

  1. in the generator to make sure you have the valid values for the fields of Application Server URL and location of browser in the preferences (tab) Builder Runtime. Do not leave an empty field.

  2. in the settings of the browser, under the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check the box labeled 'allow active content to run in files on my computer '.

  3. click OK to save the changes. Close the browsers open

  It has nothing to the child which stretches from Parent.

• Not able to deploy soa composite of Jdeveloper

  I use version version 11.1.1.3 Jdeveloper. I installed Jdevloper and Weblogic server in the same system. Whenever I try to deploy the project in Jdeveloper, I get the following error:

  have you managed to compile composite successfully? If it is successful, while deploying them in JDeveloper; Make sure that you have checked the box 'replace '. There are possibilities that the 1.0 version is already deployed and you try to deploy again with the same version without checking the replacement option. In addition, you can try is, deploy the SAR file from the EM console.

  Make sure ORACLE_HOME is exactly the same between 2 environments: note that an end "/" is not necessary and that ending ' / ' could trigger ORA-01034.

  We are migrating our Middleware of Tux Tux 10 gR 3 8.1. With this update, we also are moving part of our infrastructure to 64-bit Tux.
  
  Details:
  OPERATING SYSTEM: HP - UX 11.23 (PA-RISC)
  Compiler: aCC
  We use views
  We will use 64-bit views systemA - and 32-bit on systemB. (systemA and systemB are connected via GWDoman)
  
  We are able to compile successfully in 64 - bit (used + DA2.0W and Ae - flags) and all servers and services start without errors.  We used the same indicators that we used to compile the services to compile the views too.  The problem starts when we try to send transactions through the servers.  As soon as the data are we see what follows in the ULOG and our data are all warped (userlog used for debugging).

  Marwa,

  When you say "64-bit views" and "32-bit" I assume you mean "views compiled on a system running 64-bit Tuxedo" and "compiled on a system running 32-bit Tuxedo". The two views of 16-bit compiled with viewc and views of 32-bit compiled with viewc32 are supported on 64-bit versions Tuxedo and 32-bit versions Tuxedo.

  I suspect that the problems can be due to the definition of the MTYPE parameter in the section DM_LOCAL of the DMCONFIG file. If this parameter is set to the same value on both areas, then coding XDR will not be done between the areas and this will cause data be interpreted as damaged files if the machines have the same hardware architecture or if a machine is running 32-bit Tuxedo and the other is running 64-bit Tuxedo. (If MTYPE is not set then coding XDR will be always done.)

  In addition, you must verify that your views have been recompiled with viewc32 or viewc on each system and the binary viewfiles can be disassembled using viewdis32 or viewdis.

  So yes, we have replaced the old file by the new modifed one, but somehow, the changes that we made in the pll being file do not appear

  So either your changes do not work, or you have replaced the wrong file and there is another instance of the plx elsewhere. What happens if you delete your plx. IF its does not exist, the form should throw an error, otherwise, there is another instance of the file.

  NO, you don't have to copy the srf tools file to the location of the customer.

  just when compiling your project or changes you must click on the Browse button and navigate to the customer i.e. srf "/ web client/objects/enu/siebel.srf".

  but before, also compile all projects to the strategic outcomes of the client.

  the other thing you should check is client and tools should point to the same database that you should check the cfg files of the two respectively in [[example]] section connectstring = "\sample\utf-8\sse_samp.dbf."
