Not able to go online, all at once via powerconnect L3 switch

Hello

We have dell sonic firewall and then switch 6248P,

all of sudden, we can't go online, however we can always connect to our site-to-site VPN

When we plugged directly after the firewall, can go online, but via the switch.

Please suggest.

I am pleased to learn that the network is up. I would update the firmware on the PowerConnect devices and sonicwall. You can look at the logs on the devices also, to see if they have an overview of the issue. Do you have any network monitoring software running? If you do, you can check to see what activity was only up to the number.

    Because we are dealing with virtual machines, there are many different variables to check. I guess that the network that you connect to your virtual machine for is attribution of IP through DHCP addresses. When I say this, I mean that there is no static IP address configured in the virtual machine, and there are no static IP addresses for your NETWORK card on the host computer.
    Check the network configuration of your virtual machine to Windows XP Mode. Make sure that there is only ONE network adapter, and that the single network adapter is set to "network shared (NAT). To do this,
    1. Open Windows Virtual PC on the Start Menu.
    2. Right click on "Windows XP Mode". Choose settings.
    3. Click the network setting.
    4. Make sure that there is only 1 number of network adapters, and adapter #1 is set to "network shared (NAT).
    5. Start the Windows XP Mode virtual machine.
    6. Click Start > Control Panel. (Change to Classic view).
    7. Double-click network connections.
    8. Right-click on the single NETWORK adapter, choose Properties.
    9. Highlight "Internet Protocol (TCP\IP), then click on the properties button.
    10. Make sure that the two "obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" are selected.
    11. Click OK, and then click OK to close the properties of LAN. Close the Control Panel window.
    12. Try to access internet again.
    If you're still having problems, you should check the settings of NETWORK card on your host computer (the computer running Windows XP Mode = host PC). To do this,
    1. Minimize Windows XP Mode if it is displayed.
    2. Open the network and sharing Center Control Panel.
    3. Click on "Change adapter settings" on the left pane.
    4. If you use a laptop, there will be at least two listed network adapters. Right-click on the NETWORK adapter, click Properties.
    5. Highlight "Internet Protocol (TCP\IP), then click on the properties button.
    6. Make sure that the two "obtain an IP address automatically" and "Obtain DNS server address automatically" are selected.
    7. Repeat steps 4-6 for the remaining network adapters in the adapter settings window.
    8. Restart the Windows XP Mode virtual machine and try to access internet again.

    What is the IP address that you have read?

    If it is 169.xxx.xx.xx then it is not an address valid IP connetion.

    Check the network configuration of your computer.

    Maybe this can help.

    First of all, make sure that the printer is plugged directly into a wall outlet , not a surge protector. Once it's done:

    If the USB cable is connected, then remove it from the back of the PC.

    In your search type in printers bar and open devices and printers.

    Right click on all of the icons of the printer that you listed in this window.

    Click on remove the instrument.

    Repeat for all icons printer for your printer listed.

    In your type of search bar in programs and click on programs and features.

    Uninstall all software associated with your printer.

    Download and install the latest drivers by clicking on this link.

    Try scanning.

    After Googling carefully I finally decided to post my problem which is really sent me nightmares.

    In my application, I try to connect to a TCP server by using the operator of internet network and after the connection string

    I am able to connect to the internet using the phone's browser, but not able to connect to the TCP server via app.

    In my device APN authentication is disabled by default and the AFN, the name of user and password fields are white that's why I took these settings like white with a value in the connection string.

    When I try to connect via wifi network using the suite of string

    I am able to connect to the server, but not in the case via the AFN.

    Please help me...

    Finally I found the solution to the problem...

    I used ConnectionFactory (network API) to connect to the TCP server and the used connection string is just

    'socket://127.0.0.1:8089 '.

    No need to specify the APN, user name, and password.

    Here's the code used

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
