  Try using IE6. HFM is not yet compatible with 7 or 8.

  I suggest you try the following steps and check if it helps.

  a. you restart, and then press F8 after the bios screen comes up to bring up the windows boot options menu.

  b. Select "safe mode with command prompt" and press ENTER.

  (c) in the command prompt, type del c:\windows\system32\msiexec.exe and press ENTER.

  d. restart the computer and make sure that the Windows Installer service is set to automatic and started.

  e. try to install the Microsoft security essentials again.

  2. You are the administrator of your computer?

  You can set up a family safety account or you may be referred by the primary user. For the children of family security controlled, if game Restrictions are lit, depending on the setting you have (lower than 10, teen, mature etc), your child will be able to download applications that meet the coast.

  Here's what I suggest, if you wish to:

  1. Go to https://familysafety.microsoft.com and login as parent
  2. Check the setting of the game.

  You can do two things

  • Put out of the game restrictions or
  • Change the restriction of adult game

  Once your child has downloaded the application, parent go back to the family site, turn on the Restriction of game or set the game side to one appropriate for your child.

  Also, in the list of game for your childs account, make sure that the app is in the whitelist if your username already has but gets blocked by parental control due to permissions issue.

  I have a Toshiba M70-181 and my friend has a series of satellite Toshiba M70-189.

  Normally there is no problem to install another OS. Just boot from the installation of the desired OS CD and it runs.

  But getting the system to operate with all functions is not so easy, as Toshiba only supports Windows XP for the M70. If you want to use another language or XP Pro, there is no problem, because the drivers and software are almost the same.

  But Linux or something else, to pick up on other places for drivers to work (if they already exist). I remember that I saw some people who got their system works with Linux on this forum.

  Replace the recovery CD is unfortunately not possible. If you want XP in English, you need a full version of XP in English from Microsoft.

• Not able to install switchable graphics after windows 7 installed on HP Pavilion G4 cost

  I replaced the HDD with SSD and windows 7 ultimate (X 64) installed on my laptop HP Pavilion G4. However, I am not able to install on my laptop switchable graphics now.

  I tried this

  1 installed HPSA and run the update and tuneup. He asked me to update ' AMD high definition Graphics Driver "but it failed with several attempts and after awhile now he doesn't want to do this update at all. Now everything is green in HPSA but I'm still not able to switch graphics

  2 tried to download drivers HP page, but it says 'AMD Catalyst Mobility cannot be downloaded because of incompatible hardware/software on your computer.

  3. AMD graphics card driver Version8.810.4.5000. (I tried earlier but did not work this time)
