Not able to recover the Tecra A6 - installation is incomplete

I'm 'attempt' on the restore disc a Tecra A6 with the restoration.
Whenever I do this it fails and returns with a message "installation is incomplete - please re-run Setup" or tells me that is missing windows files and does not start correctly.

I ran a utility for debugging on a boot cd and am sure that there is nothing wrong on the HARD drive...

Someone at - it an idea on how to proceed?
Or can someone advise if we can buy a new restore disc if you think it should be corrupted?

I can't say for sure the disc is damaged, but if some of the data can not be read and load correctly, I can imagine there is a problem with the disc.

Try to contact the nearest authorized maintainer and ask if they can order new Toshiba recovery media for you.

    I'm testing some RMAN scripts.

    After having made a scenario below: I think that the problem I used the switch log file!

    You can proceed as below.

    SQL > alter database datafile ' C:\APP\SHIVANANDA. RAO\ORADATA\TEST\USERS01. DBF' offline drop;

    Database altered.

    SQL > alter database open;

    Database altered.

    Off line file data from the USERS table space, and then open the database. Still, if there is a test database, then only do. Other wise, as mentioned, CKPT contace Oracle Support

    Restore point:

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    You can access from the finder Time Capsule? If this isn't the case, then Time Machine will not work.

    You upgrade the computer snow to El Capo and keep the same name?

    If you want to backup, it is best to start again... clean the new backup any attempt to add a previous backup failed.

    I recommend that you actually erase the TC... do a complete factory reset and start again.

    The previous backup if necessary can be archived on a USB drive connected to the TC assuming that Airport utility can still access it. Airport utility accesses the TC?

    With update installs all sorts of things can go wrong... so tell me more if you can not get anywhere.

    Can you post the error message you get when you try to install or launch iTunes?

  • Not able to install the common module on satellite Pro A120

    Hi guys:
    I recently reinstalled xp professional on my satellite pro A120. I could download and install the main drivers of http://uk.computers.toshiba-europe.com and my phone is functional. However, I did not all sounds and (F6 & F7 and toggle) function keys not working, even after insalling the sound card. I read some of the posts on this forum and found that I needed insall the 'common' module to make them functional. I downloaded the driver from module common too, but when I run the Setup it starts initially, but fails both the configuration is complete.

    The same thing happens also with a few other drivers as saver of energy etc... I was not able to run the Setup program for the common module & driver power saver, basically, nothing happens after I have the respective installation.

    Can anyone help please?

    I started it 2 days (near my 5610 old which seems to have problems of aging). I use a Sony VAIO PC, OS Win7-Pro, updated.

    It seems that Ubuntu has supported the installation of Windows. At this point, I would recommend youto contact support Ubuntu uninstall Ubuntu. This should return Windows XP & you can access your files.

At this point, I clicked on the following: NVIDIA GRAPHICS DRIVER 295.55, a box appeared in the middle of my screen entitled RunDLL. Inside of this box it read: there was a problem starting C:\program NVIDIA Corporation\Installer2\Installer.0\NVI2. DLL. the specified module could not be found.

    I tried Windows Update and also search and solve problems, but they did not work. On Google I found the NVIDIA site, but couldn't work out how to solve the problem, so any help would be appreciated.
