Not be able to create custom in SD (memory card) card folder for storing pictures inside.
Hi all
I managed create a folder (my personal file) in the photo of blackberry inbuild media folder.
But when I try to create the same folder on the card (SD card) then it does not create the folder.
I'm working on a simulator 8520 with JDE 4.7. Here is my sample code
(1) for the creation of (MLAT tejas.bmp) in photo media built-in folder (created successfully);
try {}
FileConnection file = (FileConnection) Connector.open (System.getProperty ("fileconn.dir.photos") + "Tej/tejas.bmp",Connector.READ_WRITE);
While (file.exists ()) {}
leader. Close();
}
leader. Create();
out = file.openOutputStream ();
Close connections.
out. Write(Data,0,Data.Length);
out. Close();
leader. Close();
System.out.println ("write successfully");
} catch (Exception e) {}
System.out.println ("Exception in FileConnection Write:"+e.getMessage()); ")
}
(2) for creating folder (MLAT tejas.bmp) in the media of the photo on the memory card (SD card) (not able to creat): -.
try {}
FileConnection file = (FileConnection) Connector.open (System.getProperty ("fileconn.dir.memorycard.photos") + "Tej/tejas.bmp",Connector.READ_WRITE);
While (file.exists ()) {}
leader. Close();
}
leader. Create();
out = file.openOutputStream ();
Close connections.
out. Write(Data,0,Data.Length);
out. Close();
leader. Close();
System.out.println ("write successfully");
} catch (Exception e) {}
System.out.println ("Exception in FileConnection Write:"+e.getMessage()); ")
}
Please give any reference to the code if I am wrong in the 2nd case. If not, tell me if any adjustment is needed to create the folder in sdcard (in this case, I use my PC as SDCard).
There are a number of threads on this forum who speak of this Exception. Can I suggest that you only look to see if one of them is applicable?

OJ6480 am not able to import photos from the memory card inserted in the printer to laptop?
I can't import pictures from my memory inserted in my OJ6480 card. I am connected with USB and nothing appears automatically after you insert card. Also, I used the menu photo option and he doesn't want me to import. Help, please! Thank you.
Hi cafahr,
I understand you are trying to print photos from a memory card.
I find the user manual for Officejet 6480 and found the following.
After taking pictures with your digital camera, you can print them immediately or save them on your computer. To save the pictures on your computer, remove the memory card from your digital camera and insert it into the slot for card memory on the device.
To save your photos
NOTE: Use these instructions only when you use a network connection. If you are using a USB connection, then a dialog box appears automatically on the computer when you insert the memory card into the device.
1. Insert a memory card into the suitable location on the device.
2. press on the picture Menu.
3. press the arrow keys and select Photo transfer and then press OK.
4. press the arrow keys, and then select Yes.
5. press the arrow keys and select transfer to computer, and then select the name
of your computer.
6 follow the prompts on the screen on your computer to save the photos to your
computer.From what you described, the question is simple, the dialog box does not appear on the computer. What happens if you start it > computer or workstation? Do you see something here that looks like it could be the card into the printer?
Try to leave the printer and unplug the power cable (with the inserted memory card), leave the printer unplugged for about a minute and then plug it back. I want to see if this will push the communication to the computer.
Have you used this memory card in the printer before successfully? I ask because the problem may be the memory card or the memory card reader in the printer. Take a look at this link, memory card troubleshooting.
I hope it's useful. If the problem persists, please return with answers to the questions I asked, I'll gladly do some additional research and return with possible solutions. Please also let me know if you use a Mac or a WIndows OS.

my memory card for my digital camera does not work when I put it in the memory card slot
I use vista and a emachine El 1200-07w. It worked last week I just stuck the memory card and a menu pops up saying what are the options I could do (for example, open the folder, etc.) now, when I put the memory card in nothing happens, but if the memory card is in when the computer is turned on, then he will say new hardware detected but it can't find a driver for it. Why is it does not work now, but was last week and how the hell can solve this problem. I have no software for my digital camera, I always just went out the memory card it stuck in the memory card slot and it was very good. It's just a less expensive memory card (Lexar) I have a 2 GB and 128 MB and will no longer work. Thanks for any help!
Hi, I hope you can follow this. Remove the storage card from the computer, then go to control panel
then
Device Manager
Expand portable devices
the type of memory card slots should be listed if your type is a yellow triangle in it,
Right-click on it and choose uninstall.
It should reinstall it automatically or when you put the memory card in the slot.
This type of fault is often caused by not using material on the taskbar does not safely remove request. -
I have merged my restore partition HP with another partition I created. Data recovery files are still intact in the New Partition. I have not created a recovery media. When I tried to create the USB Flash Drive recovery using recovery HP Manager media, I get the message that "recovery partition does not exist. How to get again the merged recovery partition and create a recovery USB Flash drive. If simply copy data from recovering files to a USB flash drive will work as a Bootable media in the case that need if in the future.
@joy1964: should not have done that. Messing around with the OEM partition somehow good enough recovery ensures it won't work not later, when you need it.
Personally, I don't trust recovery integrated systems in any case. You want to be able to recover from an image stored on a disk system large capacity Flash DRIVE or external. In this way, if the disk fails, I can restore a functional system within minutes.
Consider using a third-party product known as Macrium Reflect this.
Macrium reflect (MR) provides a FREE version that can be used to image and restore partitions or drives together.
What I recommend is the following:
(1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
(2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup to an external drive or USB key
(3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key
NOW, you have the means to restore a full system that works for the external hard drive or USB key in a few minutes.AND... you no longer have the recovery partition at all and can reuse that space for something else.

I have a problem with file compression and then not be able to extract their share at a later date
original title: file compression
I am running Vista Home Premium on my laptop. I have problems with file compression and then not be able to extract their share at a later date. For example, I sent a file compressed to my instructor and she pointed out that she had a .zipx extension and the fact that she was unable to extract the files of ranking. Can someone help me with this problem?
Hello
1. do you have a third party compression/extraction of software installed on your machine?
2. do you get an error message when you try to extract the files?
3. is the relevant question for the particular file type?
4. don't you make changes to your computer before the problem?Follow the steps and check if they help.
Step 1:
Open zip files is to open the folder and drag the content to another folder.
See article:
Compress and uncompress files (zip files)Step 2:
If you have a third party software to Compress/decompress, I'd Uninstall it employs the way Windows compression and decompression of files/folders and see if they help.

Music of blackBerry Smartphones does not go on the memory card
I don' t seem to be able to download music on the memory card from my storm 9530 from Verizon. I am running firmware 5.0. The card is a sandisk 4 GB. It seem to go to the internal memory. I removed the card and the music was always there. I pull batt and restarted without the map and the music is still there. Unit recognizes that it is installed. The parameters are:
support media card = on DPW = on the mass storage mode support = enable auto when connected = we
free memory space App = media card of 21.3 MB = total space = 3.6 GB of free space = 3.6 GB I could by default my camera photo and video to save on media card. Is there a setting for music?
Siu, it is normal to have two discs. One is the memory of the device, the other is the media card. I differentiate them because I know that my media card has 8 GB and not the memory of the device. Other than that, the folder structure can tell you:
- the devive memory contains a folder named/home/user/and then subfolders.
- the support card contains a folder named /BlackBerry/ , and subfolders.

Can not format the memory card
Canon that PowerShot SX 10 IS reformatted not 16 GB SanDisk Ultra. Camera says memory card error. Everything else seems to work on the camera. Is there a way to fix this?
Your camera specifications say that it will work with the following cards, memory card SD/SDHC, MultiMediaCard, MMC Plus card, HC MMC Plus card.
Some memory cards note their speeds by a "class." Canon cameras are recommended to be used with nominal class cards 4 to SD (Standard-definition movies) and class 6 for HD (high definition movies) or more because of the large amount of data written to the card. As long as map meets the following standards for the card, the memory card must be compatible regardless of class or the speed rating.
SD
Standard Secure Digital card supports up to 2 GB capacity. SDHC
Secure Digital High Capacity currently supports up to 32 GB capacity. MMC
Multimedia card supports up to 1 GB capacities. MMCPlus
MultiMediaCardPlus supports up to 4 GB currently. HC MMCPlus
High capacity MultiMediaCardPlus supports up to 8 GB now. -
Original title: can not sync music to any Windows Media Player memory card
This has not happened before, but now, whenever I want to sync music to any memory card, it does not work. It makes the whole process, and it did as it syncs, but at the end of that music just does not appear in the memory card. If I go to the status of the synchronization, all songs appear with a RED x next and it says that Windows has encountered a problem during the synchronization of the file to the device. How can I fix it? as I said before, this has not happened before.

Not able to create a system recovery disc
I made the partition of HDD of my new Dell inspiron laptop 7520 and now I'm not able to create a system recovery disk, or USB drive. System continues to read the disc or the drive.
Ask you please help to do what is necessary.

NicolasI recommend the creation of an image with the free trial of 30 days of Acronis or free Edition of WD/Seagate, which can be used if you have a WD/Seagate internal hard drive or external. See section 3 of the Guide to reinstall Windows:
http://philipyip.WordPress.com/Dell-community-forums/
This will give you a backup copy of your system in its current configuration. Once the trial will expire, you can save your system using the Acronis bootable recovery media and don't have so no need to buy the version complete to recover your system. Versions of WD/Seagate will work providing one of their hard drive is detected connected to your system internally or externally, and they are not trial versions.
Many others have experienced problems with Dell DataSafe and resolved by uninstalling Dell backup and restore. reboot and then install the latest version here: http://www.dellbackupandrecovery.com/en-us/Index.html in addition to update their system BIOS if a BIOS update is available. When you create a recovery with DataSafe media I would recommend the use of a key USB and not DVD DVDs. Multiple are burned using the program and its common for 1 or more of these DVDs to burn incorrectly for flash USB stick method works better.
