Hi am my phone Sat with talk talk can go on the internet via wifi at home and can make calls and send text but when im can't get on the internet, but always calls can not set up an internet company also said email address?

You must have blacberry data to connect to the internet, try to ask your service provider

    Please make sure that your data plan is verified with roaming, however you UNCHECK your mobile (inactivate at the top in the settings) carrier WIFI will work only and at the top right of the home screen, you'll see the stop signal that represents your carrier provider, BUT to the left of which you will see on WIFI and work!

    In addition, make sure you use only the root USB ports... without hubs (sometimes the front-end ports are hubs... use a rear USB port). And don't forget to try to disable the USB power management in the configuration of your system (Device Manager).

    Check also on the incompatible software... it was reported that NTI Shadow Ninja & software can cause a conflict; Remove and reinstall the desktop software BB allows to install correctly.

    My apologies in advance if this is redundant - there is no way to be sure that if you have already seen and tried these. Also apologies if all are not currently available... RIM takes their monte and descends at will as they revise things.

    From your post, I can't tell if you do them in the order required... or know if every successful step as they should before moving on to the next step. So, with a strong carrier signal AND your WiFi radio OFF, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support... After all, it's their network with which your BB is to have trouble communicating.

    I have problems activating BIS on my bold 9650.

    Info on the device:

    Carrier: Vodafone India

    Model: BB Bold 9650 OS5.0.0.975

    I bought the power off of best sellers on ebay (a 99.7% feedback and has sold about 50 of the same features so far). It's only a Verizon unlocked BB Bold 9650.

    I recorded on my carrier unit. Contacted the carrier several times and they say that my BIS has been activated. But it says "edge" in the small and BIS status as not connected.

    Things I've tried so far:

    (1) tried my SIM on a friend BB and BIS very well

    (2) tried several times battery pull... no use

    (3) recorded from the host routing table... said "The registration message sent" but no response

    (4) my HRT and Service books are empty

    (5) have parameters of GSM/UMTS network, automatic, 2 G

    (6) data services are turned on

    (7) firewall disabled and no IT strategy

    (8) wiping device I tried twice

    (9) tried to create a new account on my Service proider BIS registration site... He says that my device is not registered with the service provider

    Some1 can help me solve this problem? I am badly in need of service BIS :-(

    Hey this problem is only with Vodafone... some work of BB to vodafone and some do not work... I tried everything until the guy from the page in vodafone... highest level they cannot do anything... I tried for over 2 months... and the care of close to 200 calls to cust... its useless

    Changes of Airtel BIS and it works in a minute...

    I like Vodafone.  but I prefer the BB... So I chose to change to airtel

    Hi all

    Recently, I removed my main of my device e-mail address while he is on vacation.

    I just put back it, but now I find that data (emails and BBM) are not updated when the phone was in bag for awhile.

    If I put myself in response to or sending emails or BBM of unit all starts update again and all emails in circulation and BMMs come out at the same time.

    Everything working the normal flow is restored, but after being in the Pocket for awhile everything stops again.

    Any ideas?

    I noticed the problem when I started getting these archaic messages called SMS asking me why I do not answer to my BBM... naturally the idea of not receiving them is scaring me senseless!

    Check the version of operating system of the device, and then use the correct steps to register your device. Basically, you refresh your network connection and the software to control the connection on your device.

  • Images of text may not of blackBerry Smartphones

    This new 9350 curve of love. Coming from a droid to Samsung Galaxy S, it's such an improvement.

    The curve is fine except that I can't send a picture in a text.

    I can email them, send to Twitter and Facebook but no texting.

    All text without images work fine. It is kind of a big deal for me as I do a lot.

    Any ideas?

    I have a blackberry data plan and local telecommunications and support blackberry services are a loss of what is wrong.

    It is interesting things to note that when connected to a wireless connection (wi - fi) with internet access, many of the applications can also access the internet. For example, bolt, the free mobile browser, can surf the internet, but only in the range of a wi - fi network. It indicates the user name is not valid and must be at least 4 characters, that is. Also on the user name field I have entries, my screen name or email address? I've tried both but does not work.

    I solved my problem! The letters were case-sensitive.

    My Radio does not connect inside my house. out in the country. Why my web applications ie and App World usually say cannot register on the network. Web pages works well in wifi why not appworld?

    AppWorld version 2.0 and newer (which is what you have) will not work on a connection Wi - Fi.  It has something to do with the security of payments, I think.  Unfortunately, you will have to connect to your network signal Mobile to access the AppWorld and don't have no way around that.

    I have a Volvo V70 ("nine") 2013 and want to connect my BlackBerry Bold 9900 (os version 7.1.0) using BlueTooth.

    The car does not recognise the BB.

    If I turn the car in "Discover fashion" and on my BB begins to search for a BlueTooth device, it does not find 'My car Volvo' and it allows me to listen to music. However, if I select "Search for phone ' fromout the car, it does not find my BB (BB, BlueTooth = ON / detectable = WE).

    According to the dealer, Volvo has done successfully test the BB with OS 7.0.0 9900.

    The trader has also improved the software in my car ==> stil does not work.

    Someone knows how to fix this?

    The other option would be to downgrade my BB with OS version 7.0.0, but I do not know if that this will solve the problem.

    FYI: Also my BB 9900 has been tested with a brand new Volvo V70 2014 model ==> does not work either. Same question.

    The last post in this link shows what to do. I did this on my BB and was able to connect now successfully my BB to the Volvo V70. I had to redo the matching 3 - 4 times, but then it worked.
