  I'm working on a script for my company that is developing models for internal use.  I was able to get most effective pathItems basic drawing

  and executives of texts. The problem that I face now is to add the logo of our company. In the script reference, I found examples of duplication of art of a document to another, but not what I need here.

  I approached this trying to choose our company logo, in an existing document and somehow capturing the pathPoints so I can use them in the script that sets up the models. However, I did have a lot of luck with that. Ideally everything will be autonomous in a script, so that the external files are not mandatory.  Thoughts?

• To create a startup disk Raid1 on an existing work XPS420 VISTA system

  Hi all

  I have a XPS 420 with a 500 GB Samsung drive. It starts on Vista without any problems. The Bios Raid feature is 'autodetect '.

  I bought a second 500 GB exactly same Samsung. Two hard drives are visible on the bios, the utility rom Intel Matrix and Vista.

  I want to create a Raid1 on this two-disc without losing the work of Vista. I read in the manual of Dell that I can use the option of the console Application migration Intel Matrix on Vista. Migration is not available on the version of the Rom and I suppose the create function to erase all my data (maybe I'm wrong?). Unfortunetly, I don't have the Matrix Console on my Vista (maybe I have clear months where I didn't use the Raid features... featured my error).

  Now, if I want to install the Console of the matrix (downloaded from the Dell support site) but I received an error message during installation "your computer does not meet the minimum requirements" and stops the installation. I updated the Intel and Intel Chipset driver utility with the who that is on the site of Dell Dowload.

  I guess I need to enable the Raid in the Bios. But if I do that, I can not start Vista more. It starts booting but I got at a very early stage (a few seconds after the patient left straight line movement) a blue screen flashing (I can't read the error). Replace the Bios in "autodetect" mode make my Vista boot normally.

  I hope to be allowed and, despite the fact that I search on this community forum, has not found this that I encoutered currently that could be summed up:

  1. how to create a Raid1 on an existing boot Vista without losing any existing data?

  2. how to install the Intel Matrix Console on a system without it?

• I can't connect my windows 8 PC to an existing working group including XP and Vista devices

• How to choose a plan of work behind another plan of work? ALT-click work does not (PC)

  I'm going through course Illustrator CC Deke McClelland and a video on the creation and copy of work plans, he uses the tool of the artboard to create a large body of work on top of existing work plans and then shows how to select work plans below by alt-clicking (opt-clicking on Mac) with the work plan on the tool you want to select.

  I tried this exactly like in the video, and although my pointer in the same spinner of Demont, it does not select the below work plans. What happens if it's that if I move my mouse pointer so that a smart guide appears, then alt-click, a new workplan is created. I also note that if I alt-click and drag, a new workplan is created.

  So what is really going on here? Are you supposed to be able to select under other work plans, work plans by alt-click with the tool of work plan? Of course, it works for Deke in the video, but not for me. And why smart alt-click on a guide work plan tool creates a new work plan, while nowhere else alt-click is not?

  I must say that I find it very difficult to determine the intended behavior in many areas of the Illustrator. This is the second course of Lynda.com Illustrator CC I take, especially because I am frustrated at the first course (Justin Seely) of things doesn't work don't not on my copy, as they work in the video. It seems to me therefore azz-back and illogical, and I don't know how it is bugs.

• HP Pavilion Notebook PC g7: MS Works9 does not recognize a word downloaded document.

  After upgrading 8.1 victories to win 10, I found that the MS Works 9 program was not to recognize the word files that I downloaded from email.   When I open the file, I get a message that explains how should I buy a Microsoft Office program.  I deleted the existing Works 9 program and reloaded the program from the disc supplied with the program.  My computer continues to ignores the fact that Works 9 is available and directs me to the purchase of MS Office.  I don't have this problem when the computer was running on 8.1 WINS

  Otherwise, the program of Works9 works perfectely with 10 wins.   Any help would be much appreciated.  Bill

  Hi Worahm,

  I think that your question is about the default application that opens your file type. I recommend you change the program that will open your file Works 9. See the Windows here support page to learn more about changing the default value. If Works 9 does not appear in the list of programs of your choice, go to the Choose default program, and then find the file on your C: drive.

  Please let me know if it works. It seems that when you upgraded, some default values have been lost.

• Some clients get assigned to WRT300N, while others do not have a default gateway

  Two existing working posts, existing wireless phone and other wireless cable connects to the internet very well.

  Try adding cell phones work, they aquire signal wireless, gets the assigned DHCP IP address but can't connect. Looked at the output of ipconfig and shows no gateway by default - IP of the router is 192.168.1.1 - with everything by default, I did a reset on it.

  The existing machines have all default gateway assigned. Only difference I see is working machines are XP pro. Never had a problem with laptops work connect anywhere else.

  Any ideas on how to install in order to work laptops can connect?

  You've configured vmware on your computer to use 192.168.1.1 on the adapter VMnet8. This means that the computer uses 192.168.1.1 itself on this card and obviously will not be resolved 192.168.1.1 as default on your wireless adapter gateway 192.168.1.1 is the computer itself.

  Correct your network configuration in vmware. After that a "ipconfig / renew *" or a reboot must get a new lease of work, including the default gateway. Make sure that vmware does not use the 192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0 subnet for network cards.

• U2717D HDMI signal not detected

  My U2717D is less than 1 week old. I plugged it with my early 2012 MacBook Pro 15 via display port using the cable supplied with the monitor. It works admirably or not the monitor input Source is set to manual or Auto select.

  Then I tried to connect my other laptops using HDMI. The cable is a HDMI cable that I connect laptops to my TV to existing work. Laptops are HP Pavilion X 2 13 (win 10 with all latest updates) and Asus S200E (Win 8.1). I also tried my MBP with a CDM-> HDMI adapter. All 3 laptops did not detect the monitor when the source is in Auto Select, monitor says HDMI no signal. All 3 laptops did not detect the monitor turned off the automatic selection and manually selected the HDMI input. DisplayPort cable has also been disconnected for the test, it made no difference. I also have a working device Google ChromeCast 2 that I plugged directly on the U2717D HDMI port. In all cases, the monitor reported no signal HDMI cable, or computers that are detectable by the monitor.

  Finally, I got the job of HP. I remember, I had to unplug all cables including the power of U2717D. Turn on U2717D, turn on the laptop, then plug an HDMI cable. A sigh of relief, I plugged the MBP to DP cable and it seems to work. The next day, I tried the Asus. Again, no signal on HDMI, no monitor detected. I unplugged DP, HDMI, pedaled power the monitor, select Manuel HDMI then connect the Asus and it finally worked.

  I have a Dell XPS13 arriving at which I intend to move the monitor between XPS 13 on HDMI and DisplayPort on the MBP (via USB to HDMI adapter type-C). However, it is unacceptable if I need power cycle and unplug the cables every time! Is a kind of 'feature' question or undocumented? Or is my defective U2717D HDMI port and I need to arrange for an Exchange?

  Before we get it exchanged, contact Dell Technical Support and ask them to send you our HDMI to HDMI Cable, part T516N. See if it fits best.

• Still can not update Windows 8.1 because I can't connect to my Microsoft account online.

  OK, so here's the deal.  I DON'T HAVE ANY F * CKING REFEREE.  I WENT TO EVERY F * CKING HELP PAGE FROM MICROSOFT TO FIX THIS PROBLEM WITHOUT SUCCESS. I TRIED ALL OF THE SUGGESTIONS I FOUND FROM 3RD PARTY SITES.

  Also, I have a laptop that I use on the same home LAN that is not one of these problems and connects very well with the store and my Microsoft Account.

  This problem is started, after a regular update Tuesday Microsoft got.  The only SOLUTION seems to be to refresh my OS, which will eliminate software installations that will take me several DAYS to re - install.

  Note that, with the exception of problems with connection to the store and my Microsoft Account (and update to Windows 8.1) the computer works fine. So I really want to rub the complete set of software I installed in the area by a refresh.

  As near as I can tell there is something very SIMPLE that I have F * CKED UP in the OS that prevents access to the store and my Microsoft Account.  There should be a SIMPLE FIX for THIS. But I have not yet found. I asked BEFORE on the community forums and got NO SATISFACTORY RESPONSE.

  What you say Microsoft? Is your only solution destroy my existing work of the software game and spend several days recreate?

  When I bought Windows 8, I downloaded an ISO. I think you can still get an ISO from Microsoft if you ask him nicely.

On some pages I have tables with a picture of the above sample label and a text below caption. I'm running in the alignment problems. But especially as a guide (for Dummies?, for my learning curve) that accurately reflects this 2014.1.1 version? (Whether a physical book or online guide). I think when I'm in the creative cloud (for easy mobile it only recently) perhaps it wasn't the version first, strawberry, I've read this. The thoughts of anyone who may be useful before I'm-God forbid - abandon and search engines can't find my site, as told me?

  You cannot remove a computer from a working group, but you can change the name of the working group.

  But that will not necessarily mean that they are not accessible by other computers on the network, or it will necessarily make the other less likely to be infected through this PC computers.

  The only way to "withdrawal" of a computer on a network is to unplug the network cable or remove the name of the wireless network.

  If you are concerned about a possible infection, you must get the malware to day and scan for malware protection.

  However, I suspect it's more likley your problems are caused by the lack of knowledge in the topic network different Windows operating system. This can help...

  Download the full version of Microsoft Virtual PC 2007.

  Buy and install a Windows operating system earlier (XP, Windows 2000) in the above Virtual Machine and try to run your program in that.
  Vista Home Premium is not supported by Microsoft using Virtual PC above, but Virtual PC will work in it.
