Not installed codecs; trial version

64 bit OS Win after installed: when my students open Premiere Pro they get the error message "additional codecs that do not appear in the trial version of Premiere Pro must be installed."

Right out of this dialog box, I get the message "Installation failed. First reboot will again trigger setup of the codec. (Contact Adobe Technical Support if the problem persists. »

Adobe CS4 Master Collection installed from a disc, put in the license code info and registered the software, so I don't know why it says that I have the trial version.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately, the trial version is limited in the CODEC it has and can work with. See this ARTICLE from Adobe on what is missing from the trail version and why.

Now, if you buy PrPro, they will have a 30 day warranty, refund and may return the product within 30 days, for a full refund. There is no limitation in the full version.

Good luck
