  I understand that you are unable to AirPlay from your Mac to your Apple TV.  Here are some troubleshooting steps that I recommend to go through this problem.

  Get help

  If you do not see the AirPlay icon , make sure that your Apple TV is awake and that it meets the system requirements.

  If you do not see your Apple TV in the AirPlay menu, make sure that your Mac and Apple TV comply with the system requirementsand your software from the Apple TV is updated. Also check your firewall settings:

  1. Choose the Apple menu > System Preferences, click Security & Privacy, and then click the Firewall tab.
  2. Click the lock icon and enter an administrator name and password.
  3. Click Firewall Options.
  4. Deselect the option "block all incoming connections".
  5. Select the option "automatically allow signed software to receive incoming connections.

  I see you have a problem with the sound from the headset. I'll try to help you with this problem.

  Try different headphones you mention. Have you tried USB as well as that use the socket? This would help to test the equipment, it could be the headphone jack, which is the issue.

  It should work with view 5. But when I try to launch the client and connect to your desktop from view, he asks just a super quick message (which I don't see) and then it brands the "active" session, but it doesn't open anything .   I had the same problem this week. He is not related to view 5, same problem exists also with 4.6.

  The problem seems to be that when you try to open the connection, the client calls a /usr/bin/view_wrapper.sh script and this script does NOT run with user privileges? However, if you switch to admin and then open the connection this script works well. You can test it by opening the X terminal in the thin client, then the su user and try to run the script manually /usr/bin/view_wrapper.sh start at 0 and you will get a prompt for sudo.

  I tried to add the useraccount 'user' in/etc/sudoers and allow that user rights sudo for view_client and view_wrapper.sh programs. Did not help

  If you add the user 'user' to the root group, connection opens fine but then you let the open thin client for the standard user to mess with.

  Quite a bug in the software? They don't do any test before releasing these?

  I can't get my R7 running Windows 8.1 to wake up from sleep with a WoL «Magic Packet» State I use a Plugable USB2 (6 AX88178/Realtek RTL8211CL) ethernet adapter. I have six other PCs on my home network, all running Windows 7, and WoL works very well on all of them.

  I activated the WoL function in the bios of R7 and the device settings for the NIC Plugable (for which I have downloaded the latest drivers from Plugable), and I tried to wake up the R7 with the QuickStart feature, on and outside. The R7 is lying just through it all.

  Any suggestions?

  Anyway, I tested my NIC USB on your laptop Dell Win7. WoL did not work it either until I enabled wake USB in the bios. So if you use a USB NIC, to look for the right settings for the NETWORK card and USB. As you suggest with the suggestion of USB power setting.

  But here's the gist: I unplugged the NIC port USB3 on my R7 and connected to the USB2 port and WoL woke up. The USB NIC did everything perfectly using the port USB3, but not of WoL.
